  • Loved this Band!

by Mary on 11/20/22Pensacola Saenger Theatre - PensacolaRating: 5 out of 5

This was a great way to watch the movie and get all the special music with it. I really enjoyed that part but the actual concert after the movie was absolutely fantastic! Wow what great singers and the band was awesome!

by Gchele on 11/19/22BJCC Concert Hall - BirminghamRating: 5 out of 5

First t h e band, great musicians. The drummer during wipeout solo was one best ive heard. Michael had fabulous vouce. All the singers where great and I went in with low expectations but I totally did not miss the original soundtrack. My seat was great. Then the after concert was fantastic. To be able to get up and really enjoy the music and the vibe from band just ended the night with s much fun was worth the ticket.

This was a new concept of a movie and concert for us….Really liked it and the actors/musicians were really talented!

  • Not what we expected or the people around us.

by Sharon on 11/19/22BJCC Concert Hall - BirminghamRating: 2 out of 5

Did not realize it was just the movie and band singing the songs. People around us felt the same—as did others that I overheard their conversations.

It was a really good show. Watching the movie with live music & singing for everyone. Very good Audience participation. The attendant who checked us in upgraded our tickets too!

  • Great Fun!

by Rose on 11/18/22Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Loved the band and the singers. They were awesome!! The dance party after the movie was just GREAT! Many people left because of a weekday nite and missed the music!!! Could screen have been a little larger?

  • no dancers

by Celine on 11/18/22Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

It was a bit disappointing because when you look at the ad, it looks like there are people dancing on stage but there is not, there is just the singers and the band. I along with other people i spoke with all thought there would be dancers doing the songs at the same time as the movie. The ad was misleading and that is why i give a 3 stars review. The band and singers were great. After the movie ended there was a dance party where they sang again the songs but more like a concert, where they were moving more on stage and i think that is what the ad shows as the singer was doing few dance moves. This part was really fun. Overall it was a fun evening, but not what we thought the show would be.

  • A night of nostalgia!

by Megan on 11/18/22Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

My mom, sister, and I attended Dirty Dancing in Concert because it is one of our all-time favorite cinematic masterpieces. As cliche as it sounds, we truly had the time of our lives! Getting to watch the film is a treat in itself, but to be surrounded by so many people who shared the same love for it, recited the most iconic lines in unison, and sang at the top of our lungs was an experience that we will never forget. The live musicians were incredible, and they added an additional aspect of fun and dance. We loved every minute of it and would come back to watch it over and over again.

by Bob on 11/18/22Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

The live singers and band was great. The blending of live music during the film was well done. The true fans had a great time dancing after the film was a over.

  • It was awesome the band gave it there all

by Carol on 11/18/22Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

It took me back to the time when my daughter and I used to watch this movie and that's really why I came to share the experience with her , again as we were older, and it did not disappoint. It was all that we needed it to be.

  • A Movie ?

by GT on 11/18/22Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre - AtlantaRating: 2 out of 5

It was enjoyable but it was basically the movie with a band performance. Disappointed. Very expensive ..

  • Unfortunately disappointed

by Showgoer 7 on 11/16/22Coronado Performing Arts Center - RockfordRating: 3 out of 5

I feel that this was not advertised well to explain the experience. It was grossly overpriced! Although the band did a great job, it was just a low quality film we watched on screen. Sorry - just wasn’t my thing.

  • Disappointing / not what we were expecting

by JL on 11/16/22Coronado Performing Arts Center - RockfordRating: 1 out of 5

We were not expecting to pay good money to watch the original movie on a screen and hear the songs and music played along with the movie. While the band did an excellent job at playing the music and singing the songs, they did not dance and sat on stools. We did enjoy the live music but it was not what we were expecting at all. We did leave during the intermission. I feel the show could have and should have been explained on the website on what to expect. While leaving, we did feel bad and also saw other people leaving as well. One of the BEST performances we have experienced at the Coronado was One Night of Queen. Which we will be attending again in March when they return.

  • Very Disappointing

by Belvi on 11/16/22Coronado Performing Arts Center - RockfordRating: 1 out of 5

You are paying, way too much, to watch the movie on the big screen and have a live band playing and singing songs at certain times during the movie. The band was very good acoustically, but no movement on the stage at all. I was expecting a more lively and entertaining experience with the live band being part of the production. I would have never upgraded my seating had I know the band was not going to do anything on stage and I was paying to watch the movie on a big screen with a band playing periodically. SO DISAPPOINTED!

  • This was a wonderful night to share with my adult daughter.

by Debbie on 11/16/22Coronado Performing Arts Center - RockfordRating: 5 out of 5

The stage, the band , the singer's, The movie, were totally amazing.
