    Perfection

by jessikkuma on 10/7/13House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

Dir en grey is the best band, hands down, no argument. I've seen them three times already and they get better each year. The crowd is also getting better yearly, thankfully. It's always nice when we can all quiet down to get blown away by Inward Scream. Looking forward to next month!

    Totally and completely amazing! Unforgettable!!!

by KeikoNishimura on 6/22/12House of Blues West Hollywood - Los Angeles

I expected nothing less from Dir en Grey. I saw them December 23rd 2011 and I have to say it was an amazing show. This was my second time seeing them and once again they didn't disappoint. Only this time I was able to get VIP tickets and got to meet them which was completely awesome! Each member had the deepest respect for each fan who had VIP passes. Even Kyo was present which is rare for him to be at, that made everyone excited. They played a lot of their old songs from Uroboros, The Marrow of a Bone, and Withering to Death. They also played some songs from their new album Dum Spiro Spero which blew me away! Each member went all out on stage to get everyone fired up giving energy to the audience and also to each other. As always Kyo's solo was amazing, the silence in the room totally set the mood for him which was perfect. To say the least if anyone is looking for a concert where they can have fun, get your ass kicked and headbang like there's no tomorrow; a Dir en Grey concert is what you need. Don't miss an opportunity to see these guys! It will be the most memorable concert you will ever experience! <3

    Amazing!

by Anonymous on 12/30/11The Regency Ballroom - San Francisco

Seeing Dir En Grey was an experience I'll never forget! The band gave the audience everything and then some more. And with the venue close to Japan Town it made it that much better!

    awesome show, bad audience

by shalalalalala on 12/28/11Bluebird Theater - Denver

tbm & dir en grey were awesome, but there were reckless, annoying people... i wish there would've been some kind of security standing there to take care of them. but otherwise, it was very very nice.

This band is beautiful. A unique, perfect sound that is Dir en Grey. Every movement, every gesture, every note mixed with the raw fury of emotion is limitless. This is a show that will stay with me forever.

Well, they were amazing as expected, but the drinks were expensive.... and the show could have been longer than 2 hours T_T I mean for a 3 hour drive to see 2 hours of show, but other than that AMAZING.

Dir en grey really know how to put on a show

by Byoshin304 on 12/24/11The Regency Ballroom - San Francisco

I've been a big fan of them for years, and this is my 8th time seeing them, but this show was phenomenal. The crowd was a little weak though, but was still decent sized. They opened with Kyoukotsu no Nari, and played a healthy dose of songs from Dum Spiro Spero, including my favorites Yokusou ni Dreambox, and Different Sense, and some old ones such as Obscure and Kasumi. All of them were energetic. I was right against the barrier on rhythem guitarist Die's side, and he gives fans lots of love. Kyo's a cappella was amazing, I loved the dance he did.

Amazing, I can not wait to see them again. They certainly deserved to have played a nicer venue but it was actually really cool seeing them here.

It was amazing, and the wait was worth it!

    by Lu1022 on 12/22/11Bluebird Theater - Denver

Traveled from Arizona to Denver just to see them, then you must know they're amazing as it gets. The guest band The Birthday Massacre was also great, They're also another band that i've listened to for few years. Too bad they didn't have that much fans in the crowd as from my point of view. But their Performance is great and cute as always, as Chibi continuously to keep her high spirits with the band. The Bluebird theater is a bit small, but then again it's just a small venue. But inside is clean and warm from the harsh weather outside that day. I would definably go back again!

    Kyo Captures My Entire Consciousness!

by OpheliaCat on 12/22/11Bluebird Theater - Denver

The show itself was awesome, including the opening band "The Birthday Massacre." I had never heard them before, but Chibi did a great job of making me an instant fan! Now, when we moved on to Dir en Grey, OMG! Those boys really know how to put on a captivating and shocking performance! Sometimes I was so awestruck by them that I forgot to mosh. They literally left me stunned. The venue was pretty good, though I hate that they charged for water, which could be dangerous if someone became dehydrated and didn't have $2 for a bottle. No water fountain either. The audience too was a little too mellow and considerate for the degree of metal that this concert should have been. They were either un-used to high intensity concerts like this, or they were just as stupefied by the glory that is Kyo, Die, Shinya, Kaoru, and Toshiya as I was.

A show that only grows better with the years!

by KissiMarx on 12/19/11The Phoenix Concert Theatre - Toronto

There isn't another band out there that can take your soul out of your body, rearrange it and then gently place it back. A high that takes forever to come down from.

Dir en Grey Boston Dec. 13 2011

by WeepingSpider on 12/16/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

I was, as always, excited to see Dir en Grey back in the Boston area. Since the Family Values tour I have seen them everytime they've been here and each time I am both amazed and romanced by their unbridled performance of their music. Though I do admit to almost missing the severity of when Kyo used to bleed onstage. I understand, now more than ever, there is a need for certain hygiene in such cramped areas like the Paradise Rock club.

Dir en grey - An Amazing Crowd Pleaser

by LizzThegeEK on 12/15/11Paradise Rock Club - Boston

This was the first concert that I have ever attended, so, naturally, I was thrilled that it was Dir en grey. They happen to be my favorite band of all time, and it is no surprise why. The intense sound and wild stage presence of this Japanese band would have anyone head-banging and jumping right along with them. The stage was small, so their movements were a bit restricted. However, this did not stop them from taking full advantage of their resources. The sound system in the club was good, allowing us to hear the music just as it was meant to be. Everyone in the audience was enjoying the act and it was obvious that the band fed off of their enthusiasm. They progressed through each song flawlessly and played with massive energy all the way. Even though I've never been in a club, I could tell that this was a good one and I am thrilled that my first concert experience was such a wonderful one.
