    Dir En GREAT!!!!

by tigerthelion on 2/19/14House of Blues - West Hollywood

Glad to see an opening act this year. Dir en Grey was phenomenal and played their ketsu's off as they always do!! These guys deserve to play a big amphitheater! They have before, maybe they like small venues...who cares!? Cannot wait to see 'em again!!

    Want to do it again

by Anonymous on 11/29/13House of Blues Sunset Strip - West Hollywood

Great set. Opening act was good- stirred up the crowd but no one got hurt. Kyo's voice was amazing and the rest of the guys were playing great. Small venue so even back by the bar you could see the stage well- and if one had a zoom on a camera, great photos and a great view.

Dir En Grey is ALWAYS the band to see

by greentea44 on 11/20/13House of Blues Chicago - Chicago

I've seen Dir En Grey 4 or 5 times now and every time it's like I'm seeing them for the first time. They never cease to fill me with excitement and anticipation when I know I'm going to get to see them again. Incredible talent from every member. Kyo's voice is indescribable with such an unbelievable and beautiful range. They're so dynamic and their performance is truly an experience. Excellent band, excellent concert. I'll be a fan forever. Btw, Dagoba was a great opener. Highly recommended. :)

Dir en Grey: cathartic awakening at its best

    Evolution.

by Legorreta on 11/18/13Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

Their show evolves continually along with their music. I love the encore, if people ask for it, they will play 3-5 more songs, making their show lat about 70 minutes. I recall the impression the band made on me the first time I had the opportunity to see them perform at The Coca-Cola Roxy Theater. It was when the vocalist Kyo pulled a Japanese Sword in mid-song, sliced his chest several times, took his own blood to his mouth and spat it on the air. Right then I became their fan, and they came to take a place in my heart next to The Doors.

    Dir En Grey - Boston

by Job11 on 11/16/13Paradise Rock Club - Boston

Excellent show. Epic talent onstage, this is a band everyone should know. With some bands, what you get live doesn't even faintly resemble what you bought on CD; Dir En Grey is NOT one of those bands. These guys are amazing musicians. I would have gladly traded the hour the opening band (Dagoba) played for ten more minutes of DEG.

    AH-MaZING!

by Rhikachu on 11/15/13Paradise Rock Club - Boston

The venue was nice! Small, but not too small. It was cozy, and the set up was very cool. Dir En Grey was ABSOLUTELY PHAONOMINAL! I will DEFINITELY see them again! I'm such a die-hard fan. They were mind blowing. I can't describe it any other way.

    Dir En Grey, Boston run

by InsertUniqueNickname on 11/15/13Paradise Rock Club - Boston

I'm extremely glad I got the email with them listed a month or so ago, I haven't seen Dir in years. Those gentleman are A-bloody-MAZING to watch live! I never look up unfamiliar opening acts for a show; I like to be surprised (at the very least). Dagoba was a "dark horse" for me, but they rocked it before Dir En Grey finished bringing the place down (figuratively, of course. sortta.) Definitely would see BOTH acts on their next New England tours! Not for people who don't like going nuts or the claustrophobic, but if this fits your bill, buy a d*^m ticket and get ready!

Dir en grey never fails to impress, although I wonder why they didn't do the makeup they have been doing for the other tours.

    Opening band was terrible

by Pipbearington on 11/14/13Irving Plaza powered by Klipsch - New York

When the opening band came out, I figured they would be good and sound a little bit like Dir En Grey. I was poorly mistaken. The only thing I liked about Dagoba was the drummer. The lead singer could NOT sing and he kept saying, "New York" every five seconds. After a few songs I was excited that they finally leave the stage. Dir En Grey came out and I immediately threw myself into the middle of the floor and tried to get as close to the stage as possible. I'm not a big fan of mosh pits due to the fact that I saw Dir a few years ago and I got punched in the jaw by some guy. Overall, I love seeing Dir but I wish that they would pick better bands to open for them. Also, Dir en Grey needs to play in New York more often. I hope the VIP package is less costly the next time I see them too.

    DEG 2013: Amazing!

by Mcneat on 11/11/13Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

This was the third time I saw Dir en Grey and it was probably the best show yet. They played some fan favorites and the crowd was amazing. It was great to see and hear people singing along! The band was able to build up a lot of energy and keep the audience pumped! Dagoba was also good. I haven't seen them before, but I was pleased. They seemed positive and happy to be there,!

    Seriously way to awesome!!!

by insomniacase on 11/9/13Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

As a HUGE fan of Dir en Grey for around 10 years now, this was seriously a dream come true. I missed their previous tours in the U.S. due to unfortunate life happenings so I vowed to make this one. Was NOT disappointed and it was just that much of an amazing show. The show was worth the 6 hour drive to Atlanta!!!

DO NOT MISS A DIR EN GREY SHOW.

by Kataomoi on 11/9/13Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

If you can see a Diru show... DO IT. These guys flew from Japan to entertain crowds in the US. They don't have to. They want to and their fans want them to. You will never hear operatic falsetto and gutteral screams from the deepest sense of anguish out of any other man. Diminutive only in size, his talent far exceeds any derogatory bullying he must have endured in his youth. Kyo is a vocalist without equal. Disregard the fact you may not understand Japanese, or understand the Japanese you hear being sung at the time. Instead, take in the technical prowess necessary to execute such songs. Also, the feeling you will have being around so many English-speaking fans singing their hearts out in Japanese is exhilirating. If for nothing else in the world, go to one of these shows and feel music and talent in a way you've never experienced. Broaden your aural palate with Dir en Grey and be the happier for it.

I've been seeing Dir en grey since they first came to the US with a 3 city mini tour and this was my favorite set list since that show. It seems like they're returning a bit to the more old performances that they gave in the early days. Very entertaining.

They were absolutely amazing! The whole band really killed it, and I can't wait for them to come back to America so I can go see them again. Easily one of the best concerts I've ever had the pleasure of seeing, if not THE best.

    First DEG Concert

by JohnHommel on 11/9/13Center Stage Theatre - Atlanta

This was not only my first Dir en grey concert, but my first concert in general. I have idolized Dir en grey for the 10 years that I've been a fan, so it was surreal seeing them in person. Simply put, the concert was amazing and I can't wait for another chance to see them perform.
