Dermot Kennedy was the best show I’ve seen in Meadowbrook in years!! What a show! Great voice, great songs!! Class act

Dermot is a amazing performer and his show is a great mix of entertainment, performance, and meaningful connection. Meadowbrook is a great venue, it is convenient and beautiful.

Incredible venue. A beautiful amphitheater on a hill in the middle of the woods. There were no bad seats and sound carried incredibly well. Dermot was passionate, raw and heartfelt as he always is, but there was something special about this performance to him and you could feel it come through his performance. Logistics for the venue were excellent. Fast entry, polite staff. The only issue was everyone's gps was leading them to the wrong place on campus, but we were able to follow the signs and eventually find where they were parking everyone in a field.

Our first D.K. show but it won't be the last. Only recently discovered his music but liking every song so far. Better Days !

Loved this concert! Great crowd and great performance. Was a little suprised by the breaks between some of the songs but overall great show! He was so good!

Dermot Kennedy is an amazing performer who is a phenomenal singer, pianist, guitarist, lyricist and songwriter. He is entertaining, energetic and full of life. He connects with the audience and captivated the spirit of Detroit. I have been a fan for years but his performance at Meadowbrook stole my heart. He is my all time number one! I cannot capture in words what a captivating performance this was. I have to say in al my years of seeing concerts this was my all time favorite.

Nothing more to say but this was the best concert i have ever attended. Just go-trust me.

This concert was BEAUTIFUL. Dermot, the venue, the staff, the audience. Perfection. I really enjoyed it

Dermot was amazing. His performance was incredible, heartfelt, present. A perfect set list, a perfect stage presence, a perfect showing. I wish I could have been more engaged, which leaves me to the venue. The venue did nothing to enforce their own rules. The person in front of me vaped the whole show. Three seats down, someone was smoking MJ constantly, and the air was rank with the scent. The people behind were not there to enjoy Dermot. They were there to get drunk and socialize, but since there was a concert going on, they couldn’t hear each other, so they yelled throughout the whole experience. It was a disappointing experience for a moment I was stoked for since purchasing tickets.

This was my third time seeing Dermot Kennedy in concert, but this was easily the best venue. Dermot never disappoints.

When people ask who i am going to see, "No one knows when I tell them but he sells out every arena he books. It's Dermot Kennedy" This was my daughters first show ever, my sons second (both Dermot's). There is nothing else om this planet like his shows. That is all I can say. I have never felt more heart broken, seen, and empowered in an hour and a half time slot. This is my church.

Dermot is a sensitive and amazing live performer! His raspy tone speaks to our soul, it's impossible not to get emotional when listening to his songs (all authorial) and his unique voice.

I spent over $1000 to buy my sister the meet and greet package for her birthday. We are both massive Dermot fans and the thought of MEETING him was beyond comprehendable to both of us. My sister has struggled with mental health and Dermots music got her through a really hard time which she was so excited to share with him. Unfortunately after standing around in the sun for over 2 hours with no access to water, we were told that we can’t hug, do awkward poses, gift him anything and many more ‘rules’ the “meet” was actually about 15 seconds we walked up to him took one photo and were ushered quickly to leave. There was no conversation, he seemed very uninterested to be there and my sister was devasted because she had wrote him a letter and made him a t shirt. I’ve met other artists and the attention and ability to even have a genuine conversation takes it entirely to the next level. I wish I just bought regular concert tickets at this point because the meet and greet package was so dissapointing and we were left feeling really quite sad.

Everything from the meet and greet to the concert itself was just AMAZING! Dermot Kennedy has been my favorite artist for years, and his music has helped me through some of my darkest days. Having the chance to meet him and then see him perform from right in front of the stage (in the pit) meant the world to me. Dermot puts his entire heart and soul into every performance, and that night was no exception. The amphitheater with the rocks and lighting somehow made it even more extraordinary and awe-inspiring. I highly recommend the venue. As for the concert itself… it was legitimately one of the BEST nights of my life! I will never forget it. And I hope to see Dermot in concert again soon!

Excellent show! There just is not a bad seat in the place. Dermot Kennedy was outstanding as expected. My only complaint was the lack of variety of wine available at the concessions.

An intense artist who puts himself out there, the music the experience.

Dermot is not just an amazing singer and performer, his kind soul and authenticity is evident in his music and how he gives 200% to his audience. I was lost in his music, amazed at how many of his fans knew all the words and just loved listening to him sing as if it was his last performance ever. I only fell in love with his music earlier this year and made a special trip from Canada to randomly watch him perform in Raleigh NC. It was an incredible experience and cannot wait to watch him again.

It was so fun! Albeit Dermot was late to soundcheck, everything was great and handled with care and detail. The venue was great and my experience as a solo attendee was aided by friendly fans I met in the pit!
