Would give 6 stars if i could. Laughed so hard my stomach hurt AND made me feel a deep appreciation for humanity and all of its oddities and beauty.
Excellent show! Recruited some friends who weren’t familiar with Annie’s stuff to go, and they universally expressed being shocked at how funny a show about Wikipedia was
This is basically comedic lecture (with a slideshow) it was just as funny and way more interesting than standup shows I've been to. Definitely check it out!
Annie is a great speaker and comedian! A lot of the material was from the account, of course, but a lot of it - an impressive amount - was just for the Madison show! A lot of local content, games, trivia, sing-alongs, and even an interview with legendary Wikipedia admin Orange Mike!!! Would definitely see again!
I was not exactly sure what to expect but I had great time!
It was so much fun! They did a great job of presenting and making it a real comedy show that was also super educational. Annie's energy is wonderful and you can tell she loves doing this. We had a fantastic time.
I found the show to be a bit rough around the edges. I think DoW could work on pacing and presentation to make the punch lines hit harder. The content is all there but the actual delivery was pretty weak. Segments could be announced more explicitly instead of just rambled through. The legal cases segment with special guest kept advancing the display before they finished speaking which ruined the jokes. I would maybe go again if I hear the reviews pick up.
