About

Def Leppard are a hard rock band from Sheffield, England and one of the best-selling music acts of all time. The group has sold over 100 million records worldwide and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019 with the current lineup of drummer Rick Allen, guitarists Vivian Campbell and Phil Collen, frontman Joe Elliott and bassist Rick Savage as well as former guitarist Pete Willis and late guitarist Steve Clark. Since forming in 1976, Def Leppard have released 12 studio albums, including their 1980 debut On Through the Night and 1996’s Slang, the first full-length effort featuring the band’s ongoing roster. Def Leppard are one of few bands to notch two diamond-certified albums, for 1983’s Pyromania and 1987’s Hysteria, which both peaked at No. 2 and No. 1 on the Billboard 200, respectively. Overall, the band have earned eight Top 10 albums led by 15 Top 40 singles such as “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Photograph,” “Rock of Ages,” “Animal” and the 1988 Hot 100 chart-topper “Love Bites.”

This was the loudest show I’ve been to at Mohegan Sun. Def Leppard is to Rock like Metallica is to Metal! Loved the show, had great seats. Played my favorite tunes, “Let it go“ and “Switch 625” The entire arena was on its feet the entire show! Great night, awesome show!

by Kred on 7/6/25Mohegan Sun Arena - UncasvilleRating: 3 out of 5

Def Leppard always puts on a good show. Ticket prices are a little high. I am disappointed The Struts did not open as advertised. I would not have purchased these tickets If I knew UPFRONT The Struts would not be playing

  • Absolute Blast

by JulieE on 7/6/25Mohegan Sun Arena - UncasvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Front to back a fantastic show. Everything from the countdown clock to start of show to the photo montages playing behind the stage was perfect and arena full of happy people were part of the show not just watching it, and clearly Def Leppard loves their fans as much as their fans love Def Leppard. Absolute legends.

  • These guys can still rock!! What a great show!

  • Amazing as always!!

by Kathy on 7/6/25Mohegan Sun Arena - UncasvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Def Leppard never fails to impress! I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve seen them, and they’re always great! I saw them for the first time 42 years ago when they were five fresh faced lads from Sheffield out to conquer the world. 40 plus years later, and all I can say is Mission Accomplished! See them if you can, you will not be disappointed!

  • Rockin' the Stage Like it's 1987

    by joenole1986 on 7/6/25Mohegan Sun Arena - UncasvilleRating: 5 out of 5

....if you're of a certain age, you know how Def Leppard was insanely great back in the '80s whenever the band took the stage. Each year, my wife and I see Def Leppard turn it on again. What's especially rewarding is that the Leppard plays their huge number of hits the way you remember them -- not some creative dude's idea of what "Photograph"should sound like in 2025. Last summer, at Citi Field, Joe Elliot was fighting off a bad cold and it showed. On Thursday night, at the Mohegan Sun, he was back in 1987 form and was simply incredible, hitting every single note. Adding Viv Campbell back to the mix on guitar, plus original bandmates, Rick Allen, Phil Collen and Rick Savage, and you had a stunningly fantastic show. A++++
