About

Def Leppard are a hard rock band from Sheffield, England and one of the best-selling music acts of all time. The group has sold over 100 million records worldwide and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019 with the current lineup of drummer Rick Allen, guitarists Vivian Campbell and Phil Collen, frontman Joe Elliott and bassist Rick Savage as well as former guitarist Pete Willis and late guitarist Steve Clark. Since forming in 1976, Def Leppard have released 12 studio albums, including their 1980 debut On Through the Night and 1996’s Slang, the first full-length effort featuring the band’s ongoing roster. Def Leppard are one of few bands to notch two diamond-certified albums, for 1983’s Pyromania and 1987’s Hysteria, which both peaked at No. 2 and No. 1 on the Billboard 200, respectively. Overall, the band have earned eight Top 10 albums led by 15 Top 40 singles such as “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Photograph,” “Rock of Ages,” “Animal” and the 1988 Hot 100 chart-topper “Love Bites.”

Def Leppard is still putting on a great show after all these years!

  • Good - no longer great

by balz on 7/14/25Rating: 4 out of 5

Recently saw the band and, albeit the stadium effect and sound may have had something to do with it - Joe Elliot could not come close to his former self. Sad but true. Overall the band still puts on a good show but they aren't nearly the same as in their prime.

  • THE BEST CONCERT

by Rodeo on 7/14/25Mohegan Sun Arena - UncasvilleRating: 5 out of 5

We have been following Def for years, at this venue more than once, they NEVER disappoint and sound as good as ever. The venue is clean, easy to navigate and fun place to be.

  • Incredible performance by Def Leppard

    by CJST626 on 7/12/25Maine Savings Amphitheater - BangorRating: 5 out of 5

Def Leppard always does an incredible performance at every concert I’ve seen. They do not disappoint even after 40+ years of performing. They performed all their most popular songs. I was disappointed that songs from the “Diamond Halo” album were not performed. They did before this guitar. I was very impressed with the performance in Bangor, Maine I can’t wait to see them again.

  • Def Leppard nailed it

    by Paramedic58 on 7/10/25Rating: 5 out of 5

Where can you find a band with 3 of the greatest guitarist ever playing together. Elliot nailed it. Can’t wait to see them in the future

  • Fabulous!

by JRo on 7/8/25Maine Savings Amphitheater - BangorRating: 4 out of 5

I was so excited to see Def Leppard in concert. It is always a little bit of a gamble when you go to see someone you grew up listening to as a kid. But man they really still know how to rock! Phil Collen can still rip on the guitar that is for sure! My only complaint is Joe Elliott can't hit the high notes like he used to. They just need to bring it down a couple octaves for him so he can hit the notes and it wouldn't be an issue. All of the other songs he sang sounded great!

  • Short concert

    by KDW1774 on 7/7/25Mohegan Sun Arena - UncasvilleRating: 3 out of 5

Music was great, but for the price of the tickets way too short. Saw them previously with Journey which made it a better concert experience.

by Roy U on 7/7/25Maine Savings Amphitheater - BangorRating: 5 out of 5

I saw them in 1988. They sound as good, if not better. They haven't lost a beat in 40 years!

  • Positively Outstanding!

by Pippy on 7/7/25Mohegan Sun Arena - UncasvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I saw Def Leppard at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville. They were OUTSTANDING. All their songs are hits and it makes for a very pleasant concert experience. It was a sold out show and everyone was dancing and having a good time. This is a concert you could bring your kids to - they are humble and almost never use profanity. If you've never seen Def Leppard give it a shot - you will not be disappointed.
