About

Def Leppard are a hard rock band from Sheffield, England and one of the best-selling music acts of all time. The group has sold over 100 million records worldwide and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019 with the current lineup of drummer Rick Allen, guitarists Vivian Campbell and Phil Collen, frontman Joe Elliott and bassist Rick Savage as well as former guitarist Pete Willis and late guitarist Steve Clark. Since forming in 1976, Def Leppard have released 12 studio albums, including their 1980 debut On Through the Night and 1996’s Slang, the first full-length effort featuring the band’s ongoing roster. Def Leppard are one of few bands to notch two diamond-certified albums, for 1983’s Pyromania and 1987’s Hysteria, which both peaked at No. 2 and No. 1 on the Billboard 200, respectively. Overall, the band have earned eight Top 10 albums led by 15 Top 40 singles such as “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Photograph,” “Rock of Ages,” “Animal” and the 1988 Hot 100 chart-topper “Love Bites.”

  • DEFinitely

These guys just keep getting better - from the Gods Of War opening to sugar pouring ending the performance was amazing!!

  • Def Leppard, Bret Michaels don’t disappoint!

by DG on 7/5/25Coca-Cola Amphitheater - BirminghamRating: 5 out of 5

First of all attending Birmingham’s new Coca Cola amphitheater for first time, awesome venue! Bret Michaels for an opener couldn’t have been any better. He packed a lot in a 50-55 minute set, including a cover of “Sweet Home Alabama!” Bret seems to be a very humble guy and very appreciative to be able to continue to do what he loves doing! And then Def Leppard hit the stage! Joe Elliott, Rick Allen, and the boys did not disappoint! Were they flawless? No, but who is? As long as these guys have been rocking it out I have to give them a shout out for being very entertaining. I was supposed to have gone to see them back in the late 80’s and couldn’t make it so I was excited to finally get to make good on that happening! They sang all the favorites and then some. My 3 personal favorites: 1.Animal 2.Lets get rocked 3.Pour some sugar on me. I would go see these guys again! All in all a great night of rock for an older guy who still love classic rock!!!

  • They've still got it!

by Tammy B on 7/5/25Maine Savings Amphitheater - BangorRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing show! Def Leppard has been an absolute favorite since high school. This was the first time I'd seen them live. They did not disappoint. Can't wait until they come back this way.

  • GREAT SHOW!!

by Susie on 7/4/25Maine Savings Amphitheater - BangorRating: 5 out of 5

We had the BEST time! I have seen Def Leppard many times and they still know how to bring it. They did not disappoint. First time at this venue (Maine Savings Amphitheater-Bangor) and would go back. Everything was smooth from the entry into venue, security assisting with seating, bartenders and other staff. Def Leppard will always be the greatest rock band in my eyes. You don’t want to miss this show!

  • Def Leppard

by Foyboy on 7/4/25Maine Savings Amphitheater - BangorRating: 5 out of 5

Great concert! Def Leppard put on a great show! Best live concert I've been to in years! The vocals the band all spot on, their engagement with the crowd made for fun and energizing time. Great atmosphere throughout the entire event. The opening band, the Struts was great as well. Two thumbs up!!

  • FANTASTIC!

by Izzy on 7/4/25Maine Savings Amphitheater - BangorRating: 5 out of 5

Def Leppard one of my longest running favorite bands, 30 years of listening and watching. The only band I have seen more than DL is The Struts. The Struts opened for DL and I was in heaven. Everything about this show was awesome. The location, venue, weather and a fabulous night with two of my favorites. I had someone in tow who hasn't been to a show like this before and isn't really into this genre of music and they had a great time at this show.

  • Loved them, they still got it!

by LJ on 7/4/25Maine Savings Amphitheater - BangorRating: 5 out of 5

I have waited for about 39 yrs to see Def Leppard and they did not disappoint. They are an iconic band and still sound the same. A shout to all the amphitheater employees for their help and courtesy. It was my first time at bangor amphitheater it they do a great job. I would definitely go back and see other groups.

  • Def Leppard ROCKS!

by Linda on 7/4/25Maine Savings Amphitheater - BangorRating: 5 out of 5

My daughter and I had the best time ever... Our favourite concert, and we've been to many. Def Leppard is one of the greatest ever bands. Lots of charisma, talent and generally great human beings. You can tell they love what they do and love each other. Bangor Amphitheater is a great venue and has the best ever staff all around.

  • Best Concert Ever!

by Babs on 7/4/25Maine Savings Amphitheater - BangorRating: 5 out of 5

The opening act Struts lived up to their name as a great Live Band. Their guitar player was phenomenal and the lead singer was excellent. They had the crowd going for the main event. Def Leppard, well what can you say about them except they get better with time. Joe's voice sounds exactly like he does on the record and it's still strong and vibrant. You can tell they enjoy what they do because it's evident in their performance. I waited 5 years to see them due to Covid cancellations and it was worth the wait. I can't wait to see them again. They are still one of the best bands of the 80's and probably the best still performing today.

  • Loved it!!!!

by Fan on 7/4/25Maine Savings Amphitheater - BangorRating: 5 out of 5

OMG! They still sound as amazing as when I saw them 30 years ago! Played so many hits- I danced and sang the whole time! The Struts were amazing too!! So happy with show!!

  • One of the best rock band performances 2025

by SJS on 7/4/25Maine Savings Amphitheater - BangorRating: 5 out of 5

From start to finish they performed flawlessly! All of the most popular songs were awesome and was one the best concerts I have seen in Bangor.

  • Show - Good Meet & Greet- Horrible

by Dan on 7/4/25Maine Savings Amphitheater - BangorRating: 4 out of 5

They put on a good show but I bought the meet and greet and it was the worst one ever. We had to get there 3.5 hours before the show and wait around. When we went into the room it wasn't a meet and greet as it was a "you are in the same room as them"event. They stood on a platform about 8 feet behind us. We walked onto a designated spot on the floor and then left. I know some meet and greets are rushed but to not actually meet them is very odd. You don't even get to stand next to them for the photo. They are just the backdrop of the picture and almost look like cardboard cutouts. Definitely not worth the money spent on that.

  • Great time

by Tsyoung on 7/4/25Maine Savings Amphitheater - BangorRating: 5 out of 5

Great show, Old Dominion never disappoints. Opening acts Redfarrin and Ernest were absolutely awesome.

  • Great show

by Mb on 7/4/25Maine Savings Amphitheater - BangorRating: 5 out of 5

Great show these guys been around a long time and still rock!

  • Awesome music

    by Wen3 on 7/4/25Maine Savings Amphitheater - BangorRating: 5 out of 5

As usual the venue sucks. I have been going here since the beginning and every year they make it worse, except for the addition of actual bathrooms. They really need to add Coke products and not just Pepsi. This is supposed to be for the fans not the corporations. But enough about them. Both the Struts and Def Leppard out on great shows. Lots of energy, they sounded great, the playlists were pretty good. First time seeing the Struts, 3rd time seeing Def Leppard. Would see both again.

  • Def Leproid

by Beanie on 7/4/25Maine Savings Amphitheater - BangorRating: 2 out of 5

I did not the venue it was all outdoors. There was no smoking area to smoke. The staff was not nice. I really enjoyed the concert. I would not go back to the venue.

  • Amazing show

by Jparsons on 7/4/25Maine Savings Amphitheater - BangorRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve always wanted to see these guys live so I bought the tickets…. From the moment the show started the energy with Electric, These guys rocked it for 2 1/2 hours… i never sat down, screaming the whole time. A phenomenal show. Wanna see them again!
