About

Def Leppard are a hard rock band from Sheffield, England and one of the best-selling music acts of all time. The group has sold over 100 million records worldwide and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019 with the current lineup of drummer Rick Allen, guitarists Vivian Campbell and Phil Collen, frontman Joe Elliott and bassist Rick Savage as well as former guitarist Pete Willis and late guitarist Steve Clark. Since forming in 1976, Def Leppard have released 12 studio albums, including their 1980 debut On Through the Night and 1996’s Slang, the first full-length effort featuring the band’s ongoing roster. Def Leppard are one of few bands to notch two diamond-certified albums, for 1983’s Pyromania and 1987’s Hysteria, which both peaked at No. 2 and No. 1 on the Billboard 200, respectively. Overall, the band have earned eight Top 10 albums led by 15 Top 40 singles such as “Pour Some Sugar on Me,” “Photograph,” “Rock of Ages,” “Animal” and the 1988 Hot 100 chart-topper “Love Bites.”

Def Leppard was amazing! Venue was clean, beautiful, and the staff went above and beyond. We had an awesome experience. It’s going to take some time to come down from the high this concert caused. Everything was perfect!

  • what a show

by scoopscoop on 7/23/25Bethel Woods Center for the Arts - BethelRating: 5 out of 5

Def Leppard put on a amazing show. Almost every song sounded like it came from a cd on steroids. The background screen show was incredible. The only drawback was something out of their control. We could smell pot being smoked somewhere near where we sat. That was the only thing that ruined a awesome show. Def Leppard rocks. Come back soon.!

Don’t miss a chance to see this amazing group!! All members of the band did not disappoint! They’re as good now as they ever were!! And Bethel Woods just made it that much better because it’s a fabulous venue.

  • Pleasantly surprised, they sounded good

by Smalls on 7/23/25Bethel Woods Center for the Arts - BethelRating: 4 out of 5

In July 2025 I got to see Def Leppard in concert at Bethel Woods. Some of my friends saw them not long ago & didn’t give a good review. I wanted to see them for myself. I think with some help of some sound features of the mic, the singer sounded pretty good. They are an older band, which of course I knew they wouldn’t sound exactly like they did in the past. The slower songs sounded the same as in the past. They put on a good show; lots of energy. The guitarist, bassist and drummer were spectacular with their instruments, nothing was lost on them. They really brought in home at the end of the concert. I’m glad I got to see them.

  • Great show.

by Eric on 7/23/25Bethel Woods Center for the Arts - BethelRating: 5 out of 5

Great show and Bethel is a great venue... the one issue is leaving, there needs to be a better way to direct traffic out more efficiently. 1+ hours to get out of lot.

  • Great

  • Never Disappointing!!

by Alice on 7/23/25Bethel Woods Center for the Arts - BethelRating: 5 out of 5

This was my 6th Def Leppard show and this one was just as good as the first time I saw them on 7/26/88 at Orange County Speedway (Europe opened for them). We almost didn't go to this show because our pup has medical issues but last minute we decided to go and let pup rest. Bethel Woods is my favorite concert venue so I had to see my favorite band play here of course! It was a great show as usual, so happy we didn't miss it...can't wait for the next time around! LONG LIVE ROCK N' ROLL!!!

  • Phenomenal!!!!!!

by NY fan on 7/23/25Bethel Woods Center for the Arts - BethelRating: 5 out of 5

Somehow I had never seen Def Leppard until 2025. They were my favorite band in 1987-88, and I played Hysteria non-stop, much to the annoyance of my parents. I went to the show expecting to have a great time, but I was blown away. Completely exceeded my expectations in every way. The boys are still killing it decades after I first put that tape cassette into my Walkman and pressed play. Go see them. They sound great, the stage show is great, and they play with the energy of 20 year olds. As to the venue, Bethel never disappoints…..a great venue in every way. Cheers!

  • Concerts and venue

The Struts and Def Leppard were beyond awesome!!!! Joe sounded amazing as well as the band. This was the best concert I've seen by far!!!! The venue was very good as well. Getting in went fast and the bathroom line did too. Will most definitely come here again!! Thank you Bethel Woods!

  • Best ever!
