Death Cab for Cutie was formed in Bellingham, WA in 1997 and almost immediately entered the ranks of the era's definitive bands, fueled in large part by the remarkable power of co-founder, lead vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist Benjamin Gibbard's complex, often bittersweet songcraft. The band made their worldwide popular breakthrough with 2003's RIAA Platinum certified Transatlanticism, later named by NPR as one of "The Decade's 50 Most Important Recordings." Plans, their 2005 Atlantic Records debut, saw Death Cab for Cutie ascending to even greater heights, earning RIAA platinum certification and a GRAMMYĀ® Award nomination for "Best Alternative Album" while spawning the chart-topping singles, "Soul Meets Body," "Crooked Teeth," and "I Will Follow You into the Dark," the latter of which was honored with a GRAMMYĀ® nod for "Best Pop Performance By Duo Or Group With Vocals."

If you love to rock or you love to roll, TCU is the place to be! Kind of in love with this venue.
Loved the set list. Good audience engagement. Definitely would go see again.
Loved, loved this show. High energy & lots of connection between band members!
Very nice clean venue, pleasant staff. The red wine they served was gery nice. Death Cab was lovely as ever.
Death Cab....if you've never seen them live... get tickets for next year! Super talented band!!!! Like the old classic 80's bands they know how to put on a great show. Enjoyable music, great lyrics, very talented musicians, not lazer shows and fluff. . You won't be disappointed!!! I'm only sorry I have to wait a year to see them again. šš»
Loved the energetic presentation and interaction with the audience. Nice mix of old and new songs.
The amphitheater sounded great and Death Cab delivered a great set list with a four song encore.
Better than I expected, bucket list show. They were amazing and we had a great time and great seats, although we didnt sit alot š
TCU was no problem and staff were nice! Parking was a nightmare. I paid $50 for garage parking through premier and never even got it scanned by anyone so Iām sure I didnāt park where I was supposed to. There was 1 parking spot available after circling a garage for quite sometime. For $50 it should have been easier. The show was great and full of energy on stage! The crowd in seating was half asleep or something. Seemed like no one even knew the songs or got excited even for their big hits.
Loved the set list. Great balance of old and new. They sounded incredible live!! As good or better than their albums. Wasnāt a big fan of the opener but maybe just not my style.
Traveled to New Orleans to enjoy Death Cab for Cutie. Momma was the opening act and they played a quick set and set a good atmosphere for those present. Then Death Cab took the stage and played a great set of 23 songs. They played most of the hits from their impressive catalogue and interjected songs from their newest released album, Asphalt Meadows. They sounded great and The Orpheum offered an intimate venue so there were not any bad seats in the house. The crowd was great, singing along with all the hits, and Death Cab showed great energy as they played flawlessly. It was a great experience which is not always a guarantee in a live show. I will do my best to see them again.
I've enjoyed Deathcab's music since their debut album, but had yet to actually see them perform live. ACL Moody is a great venue. Wonderful acoustics and great seating/view. Deathcab had not been to Austin since before the pandemic in 2019 so they were excited to be back in town and really brought down the house! Lots of great energy, played new songs and all the best hits. My wife and I had a great time!!
So incredibly good live. Non stop for two hours. Been my favorite band for years and hadn't seen them live before and they did not disappoint. New album is great mixed in with all their classic greats.
I have been a fan of Death Cab for over 20 years. It was an amazing performance and a dream come true to finally be able to see them in concert. The Orpheum Theater was spectacular and in a great location! I will forever remember this awesome experience!
I thoroughly enjoyed the part of the show I was present for. The venue posted the start time for the Death Cab set as 9:15, but it apparently started around or before 9, so we missed the first few songs which was pretty disappointing. Otherwise the show was excellent.
ACL Live is a really great venue. The atmosphere and interaction with the band was really great unlike a stadium setting. Death cab for cutie is one of the most underrated band around. Catch them live if possible.
2nd time to see them live and theyāre just amazing! Benās voice of an Angel and lyrics so poetic! Love the light effects and audio was really nice at this venue! Affordable merch and nice staffing!
Fantastic show!! It was our first time to see DCFC and we Will absolutely see them again when they return. We sat last row in the balcony and still had a great view! Unless your view is partially obstructed, thereās not a bad seat in the venue. We LOVE ACL Live!!
Opening band Momma played well and led into Deathcab for Cutie. It was amazing to watch them play a full set list in order and on the encores change it up. They rocked as did the crowd, which by the way, NEVER SAT DOWN, for the whole show. Great venue and great band. Will see them again!!
