About

To celebrate two decades of 'Give Up' and 'Transatlanticism', The Postal Service & Death Cab for Cutie have joined forces for an unprecedented 20th anniversary co-headline tour. Each night, Benjamin Gibbard, the co-founder of both bands, will pull double duty performing with The Postal Service - comprised of Gibbard, Jimmy Tamborello, and Jenny Lewis - as well as with Death Cab for Cutie (alongside Nick Harmer, Dave Depper, Zac Rae, and Jason McGerr). The extraordinary live run will see both iconic groups performing their seminal 2003 albums in full.

    Wow

by Bartolo on 10/31/22Paramount Theatre - Seattle

They gave it their all and the audience loved it. The light show was fantastic. The sound was perfect. Not too loud. Most of the band was better than I ever remembered. There were tears in the audience because they were so good!

    Such great energy!

by Trisha on 10/30/22Paramount Theatre - Seattle

What an amazing show! The energy the band brought tonight was through the roof. I've seen quite a few DCFC shows over the years and haven't experienced this high of energy level. So cool to see a band that's been around for decades still truly loving what they do. The stage lighting was noticeably rad, too!

Transatlanticism was the final song, that’s all you need to know.

    Fantastic Show - Staff Amazing!

by FKH on 10/30/22Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Ben and the Boys put on a great show to round out the two nights in Seattle. They were ON for 2 1/2 hours!!! Staff was polite and security handed my kids water as it was warm on the floor. It was my sons 14th bday and one he’ll never forget! Thank you to Death Cab for Cutie and the Paramount!

A Great Show From My Favorite Band

by Death Cab Fan 253 on 10/29/22Paramount Theatre - Seattle

I have been a fan of DCFC for over 20 years and saw them the first time at UC Irvine back in the early 2000s but I really like seeing them in smaller venues like this. We saw them last year at the large Climate Pledge Arena when they opened the venue with Foo Fighters and then the next night in Portland at the tiny Wonder Ballroom. This show had the intimacy of the Wonder Ballroom but the benefit of a slightly larger venue and crowd. The set list covered almost all of Asphalt Meadows (which I like more and more every time I listen to it) and also included some greatest hits. We went both nights and I liked the second night set list better mainly because it ended with Transatlanticism (probably the best DCFC song of all times and an epic end to the show and the tour). There are some bands that, after I see them a few times, I feel fulfilled but with DCFC, I cannot seem to get enough. These were two great shows in a good venue.

    The Lighting was AMAZING

by Elizabeth on 10/29/22Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Whoever was in charge of the lighting design for this show is incredible. DCFC gave an great performance as always - no surprise, but never at a concert have I been so blown away by the stage lighting. The number of spotlights in such better colors and patterns - particularly during “Northern Rights” is truly remarkable. The person responsible deserves a round of applause. Also, I enjoyed seeing them at the Paramount as it is such a nice venue.

    The Best Yet!

by Concert Goer on 10/28/22Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Death Cab did such an amazing show on the first night, we returned for the second nights performance! Night 2 was fantastic too! I’ve seen them perform many times over the last 20 years always good but this time was exceptional! The Paramount Theater managed both nights sold out shows professionally!

    Best concert of theirs!

by Sara Norris on 10/28/22Fox Theater - Oakland - Oakland

I have seen Death Cab a couple of times and they are always great, but this show was phenomenal! I can’t stop thinking about Ben’s performance, the energy the band displayed was awesome. The light show in the back complimented the music perfectly. I would actually love to go see it again right now! They played almost every song I wanted them to play, minus “Title and Registration” and “What Sarah Said.” I highly recommend this concert!

    Absolutely incredible!

by Sierra on 10/27/22Fox Theater - Oakland - Oakland

A few girls shoved in front of my friend and I, but that's pretty typical for a concert. Otherwise it was a phenomenal experience!

    Amazing show

by CoyKoi on 10/26/22Fox Theater - Oakland - Oakland

One of my favorite bands at one of my favorite venues. As I get older, I find myself picky about sound quality. So many shows where you can't hear the singer. While I enjoy DCFC's music, what I love are the lyrics and the quality of Ben's voice that simply doesn't come through on recordings. I was NOT disappointed. The sound at Fox theater was impeccable and Ben is as wonderful as always!

    Wonderful show!

by Star Cat on 10/26/22Fox Theater - Oakland - Oakland

Having never seen Death Cab for Cutie live before, I had set my expectations a bit low because I think of them as a studio band who is frankly getting on in years. But they put on a dynamic and tight performance, with excellent sound and an awesome light show. I was especially impressed with Gibbard’s crystal clear vocals, which were pitched perfectly despite his constant dancing. Bravo!

    Not that great

by Alicia on 10/21/22House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

Deathcab for Cutie was fantastic! The venue was over packed. Way too many tickets sold. People were standing in the hallway leading to the actual venue/GA section. They couldn’t even see the stage from there.
