David Spade on Tour

David Spade is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer, talk show host, and television personality with razor-sharp sarcasm that will leave you in stitches. He's best known for his performances on "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) and hilariously endearing role in Joe Dirt (2001) -- a film he both starred in and co-wrote. Other box office hits from Spade's film career include popular titles like Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003), The Benchwarmers (2006), Grown Ups (2010), Grown Ups 2 (2013), and The Do Over (2016). In 2020, he was a People's Choice Award nominee for Favorite Comedy Movie Star in the film The Wrong Missy (2020). On the small screen, Spade received one Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations for his work playing the wise-cracking assistant, Dennis Finch, in the American sitcom "Just Shoot Me!" He also starred in the beloved CBS comedy "Rules of Engagement," joined the cast of "8 Simple Rules," co-wrote the screenplay and performed voiceovers on MTV's "Beavis and Butt-Head," and hosted "The Showbiz Show with David Spade." Later, he became the host of Comedy Central's "Lights out with David Spade." Over the years, Spade has entertained viewers with his self-deprecating humor and outrageous wit as the host of the Teen Choice Awards and the Spike Video Game Awards, and made guest appearances on sitcoms like "The Goldbergs" and reality TV programs such as "Bachelor in Paradise." Now, you can enjoy a no-holds-barred night of laughter with tickets to David Spade live on tour as he returns to the slapstick stand-up comedy that first made him famous.

David Spade Live

A natural prankster born on July 2, 1964, Arizona native David Spade started doing stand-up while he was young with his family and friends urging him onto the stages of bars, theaters and campuses across the country. He performed in Arizona State's long-running sketch comedy show multiple times, where he attended school as a fraternity member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He also got experience delivering laughs at Greasy Tony's Pizza during the Monday night comedy shows in the mid-'80s. In 1990, Spade took his comedy career to the next level when he joined the crew of "Saturday Night Live" -- first as a writer, then quickly making his way up to cast member. Shortly after his television debut on SNL, Rolling Stone dubbed him "Hot Stand-Up Comedian of the Year." Over the next five years, Spade would become a household favorite, well-known and loved for his comedic persona. He built his unique brand of sarcasm through skits like "Hollywood Minute" and "Total Bastard Airline" until eventually leaving the cast in 1996. His venture into film and television thereafter was immediately successful, earning himself a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame by 2003.

It was a great night of good humor. Didn’t have to think too hard and left with a smile on my face. It was exactly what I needed after a long hard week at work.

  • David Spade is Hilarious!

David Spade is the type of comedian who walks on the stage and everyone starts laughing! We know him from so many other shows over the past many, many years. I highly recommend his show. Mary from Minnesota!

  • David Spades great —- Orpheum sound: not so!

by KWROam on 9/9/24Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 5 out of 5

David Spade was great but the Orpheum sound system is AWFUL!! As an older person I rely on good clear quality sound to help follow whatever show I attend and this was a study in frustration. Plus!! Could you jam the seats closer together?? I’d rather fly bottom coach on a Frontier plane. Than sit in the front row seats at the Orpheum again. But!! David Spade was fantastic. Please go anywhere else next time. Orpheum boo!!

What a great show! David Spade never disappoints. His openers were great - especially Bobby Miyamoto. Great show, great time, definitely will see him again!

  • Great Night of Comedy

David Spade still has that quick wit and self deprecation that makes for comedy gold. Have always enjoyed his comedic take on day to day living, as well as his anecdotes. Would highly recommend if you haven't seen his stand up. Had a fantastic time.

  • Spade is Amazing as always!

by Chewbecca on 7/27/24The Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Resort - Las VegasRating: 5 out of 5

The Venetian theatre is so intimate and cozy, perfectly comfortable with drink holders and enough space in between seats. There were two acts before David Spade, both were good! David spade did not disappoint. His DRY HUMOR had the entire audience laughing the whole night. There were some impromptu moments too which truly shows his ability as a comedian. This is my second time seeing him in VEGAS. I will be definitely seeing him again. GREAT SHOW! Felt really good to laugh, relax, and have a drink in this beautiful venue. I also liked that yelling out or screaming things out was not allowed.....this made for a much more enjoyable experience. 5 stars for DAVID SPADE!

  • SPADE VENETIAN

by SMF on 7/25/24The Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Resort - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

Great show! Just felt he wasn't on stage very long. Glad I got the cheaper tickets, not a bad seat really. Still funny, just wished it was longer.

  • Fun until the head line.

by Sue on 7/23/24The Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Resort - Las VegasRating: 3 out of 5

The first two comedians were good! David Spade, was terrible. Nothing funny, about his act. Very disappointed in David Spade. He really sucked. Don’t waste your money.

  • David wasn't funny

by Sandy on 7/23/24The Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Resort - Las VegasRating: 1 out of 5

It was a waste of time for me. He wasn't funny at all

  • Good. Could have been better

by AC on 7/23/24The Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Resort - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

The show was a packed house because of the headliner. The show started about 15 mins late (8:30p start) and ended about 5 mins before end time - according to the post 10:30p. I was sitting behind the mix/table and was occasionally looking at the clock. Opening act was solid. Nikki killed it and could have easily headlined. David, however, was decent. Not his best work that night.

  • Nikki Glaser usurped David Spade

by Aisha on 7/23/24The Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Resort - Las VegasRating: 4 out of 5

I’m not sure what the guy is doing standup for when he doesn’t seem to enjoy it much anymore. He wore a sweatshirt riddled with holes and repeated jokes I’d heard him perform before more than a few times. After 40 years you think he would bring his notes out on stage. He was disappointing, but Nikki Glaser had all new material and had me cry-laughing throughout!

  • Hilarious

Awesome show, we never stopped laughing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Funny, until it wasn't

by JB Davis on 7/23/24The Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Resort - Las VegasRating: 3 out of 5

Nikki was HILARIOUS. I audibly gasped and laughed at her set. Then, Davis Spade came on. He had a paper in his hand with what I assume were his jokes written down that he referred back to. It seemed he got lost at certain times during his set and he checked his watch a few times as if he just wanted to get the hell out of there. Like his movies, but his standup is trash. Maybe it was an off day 🤷🏽‍♀️

  • He was OK….

by Jenn on 7/23/24The Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Resort - Las VegasRating: 3 out of 5

It was OK. Very short set for the amount of money paid and he just seemed like he wasn’t really thrilled to be performing. Nikki Glaser was great.

  • Great night of comedy

  • Great comedy show!

by Hal on 7/8/24Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts - GreensboroRating: 5 out of 5

Spade was on! He delivered his funny material start to finish. I was laughing at Spade's bits and his his two opening comedians (Katherine Blandford and Bobby Miyamoto) through the entire show. I recommend checking it out, especially if you are a Spade fan like me.

  • Horrible.

by Rob on 7/8/24Knoxville Civic Auditorium - KnoxvilleRating: 1 out of 5

Why the "Joe Dirt"comedy tour name if nothing was about "the actual Joe Dirt character? Oh to upsell tickets David Spade is worth $70 million Put some effort into the 70% compacity of tix and guest that attended The venue should have large tvs mounted to also show what hand gestures he or any performer is doing. Will definitely not be seeing another one of his shows.
