David Spade on Tour

David Spade is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer, talk show host, and television personality with razor-sharp sarcasm that will leave you in stitches. He's best known for his performances on "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) and hilariously endearing role in Joe Dirt (2001) -- a film he both starred in and co-wrote. Other box office hits from Spade's film career include popular titles like Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003), The Benchwarmers (2006), Grown Ups (2010), Grown Ups 2 (2013), and The Do Over (2016). In 2020, he was a People's Choice Award nominee for Favorite Comedy Movie Star in the film The Wrong Missy (2020). On the small screen, Spade received one Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations for his work playing the wise-cracking assistant, Dennis Finch, in the American sitcom "Just Shoot Me!" He also starred in the beloved CBS comedy "Rules of Engagement," joined the cast of "8 Simple Rules," co-wrote the screenplay and performed voiceovers on MTV's "Beavis and Butt-Head," and hosted "The Showbiz Show with David Spade." Later, he became the host of Comedy Central's "Lights out with David Spade." Over the years, Spade has entertained viewers with his self-deprecating humor and outrageous wit as the host of the Teen Choice Awards and the Spike Video Game Awards, and made guest appearances on sitcoms like "The Goldbergs" and reality TV programs such as "Bachelor in Paradise." Now, you can enjoy a no-holds-barred night of laughter with tickets to David Spade live on tour as he returns to the slapstick stand-up comedy that first made him famous.

David Spade Live

A natural prankster born on July 2, 1964, Arizona native David Spade started doing stand-up while he was young with his family and friends urging him onto the stages of bars, theaters and campuses across the country. He performed in Arizona State's long-running sketch comedy show multiple times, where he attended school as a fraternity member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He also got experience delivering laughs at Greasy Tony's Pizza during the Monday night comedy shows in the mid-'80s. In 1990, Spade took his comedy career to the next level when he joined the crew of "Saturday Night Live" -- first as a writer, then quickly making his way up to cast member. Shortly after his television debut on SNL, Rolling Stone dubbed him "Hot Stand-Up Comedian of the Year." Over the next five years, Spade would become a household favorite, well-known and loved for his comedic persona. He built his unique brand of sarcasm through skits like "Hollywood Minute" and "Total Bastard Airline" until eventually leaving the cast in 1996. His venture into film and television thereafter was immediately successful, earning himself a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame by 2003.

Fabulous venue. Nikki was beyond funny! Her material is always no holds barred and she did not disappoint. Spade was his usual hilarious self. We could not stop laughing. My cheeks hurt when we left! Thanks for a great show!!

Nikki Glaser and the opening act was outstanding! David Spade kinda phone it in.

  • Good, great, okay.

Nikki Glaser should've been the headliner. Spade was good, but she kept us laughing a lot more. Good experience all around!

  • Would not pay money to see David Spade

by Elizabeth on 9/30/24The Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Resort - Las VegasRating: 2 out of 5

Nikki Glaser was hilarious…she was the true star of the show. David Spade was not funny, unprepared, and was doing his show off the cuff hoping people would find him funny. Read the room…people kept getting up to leave during Spade’s performance.

  • Meh, idk wha to say...

TBH, idk what to say really.... "The show"was mostly old jokes it seemed, recycled. I haven't heard the jokes before, but he goes up on stage and just talks I don't think there is any prep unless it's a "special"their filming for TV. This particular show was "David Spade with guest Nikki Glaser" while I know it's not nice to say, she isnt very funny (to me) its true. We all loved her in that roast she did, but her comedy is super XX. I think I find the both of them funnier on TV. the camera person who zooms in and hour also needs to do a better job.

Not worth the money. First opening act was the best. Glasser’s material is just sad, not creative and definitely has a very specific target audience. Spade took a long time to tell a story and deliver. I snickered during the show but sadly did not get a great laugh. Not worth the money at all. There are much funnier comedy shows in Vegas for less money.

I’ve followed David’s career since the SNL days and he did not disappoint!

  • Amazing!

I've been a fan of David Spade's standup for 20 years. He's incredible--as good as it gets when it comes to stand-up. If you see him, it will immediately become clear how different it is to watch a gifted, seasoned pro.

  • Big laughs in a small package

by Big laughs on 9/17/24Moore Theatre - SeattleRating: 4 out of 5

Some people have the ability to be casually funny and not tell joke but relate experiences in a manner that people understand. Spade does this with ease and confidence. Long time fan of he and his cohorts projects and writing, the evening was fun. Sometimes you don’t know where he’s going but generally speaking yiu just don’t care. Worth taking a chance.

  • Fun night

    by Ryit1369 on 9/17/24Moore Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

The Moore is an awesome theater for shows. All 3 performers were great. I have always thought David Spade was funny and good in his movies. Glad I got to see him live for the first time. We also staid at the hotel after the show, what a great history filled location!! Thank you.

  • Hilariously topical

by Nick on 9/17/24Moore Theatre - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Dave Spade's stand-up show is a blast! His mix of sarcasm and quick wit that keeps you laughing the whole time. His delivery is so chill, it feels like he’s just talking to a group of friends, but the punchlines always hit hard. Spade's jokes about everyday stuff and his own life are super relatable, with just enough edge to keep things interesting. Whether he's poking fun at celebrities or himself, the guy just knows how to keep a crowd entertained. If you're into smart, laid-back comedy, Spade's show is definitely worth catching!

  • Uninspired humor

by Boise Rob on 9/16/24Morrison Center for the Performing Arts - BoiseRating: 4 out of 5

Best part of this show was the opening act, comedian. The second act was okay. David Spade was funny but his performance seemed uninspired and was short.

Was a very fun night full of laughter. Both openers were also great and very funny. Was a great night well worth it. Wish they would have done a meet and greet though. 10/10!!

  • Great show!

by Mandy on 9/15/24Clowes Memorial Hall - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

My brother and I had a great time at the show. Generally, I dont pay much attention to the crowd vibe at shows, I just go and laugh and have a good time. However, I will say even I noticed the crowd was not great that night. Most people were not laughing and even David made a comment on it at one point. He still did a great job though and I think he finally got everyone going near the end. I know he isnt a huge touring comedian selling out arenas, but I would assume people knew who he was and his kind of humor so I dont know what was going on that night. It was my first time seeing him live and I loved it, I would definitely see him again.

  • Great venue

by Dglg on 9/11/24Clowes Memorial Hall - IndianapolisRating: 3 out of 5

We loved the venue and the show was good. We are fans of David Spade but could’ve done without the porn bit. Just be warned. Overall the openers were good and David Spade was hilarious:)

  • Not as good as I was expecting

    by Corky367 on 9/10/24Clowes Memorial Hall - IndianapolisRating: 3 out of 5

I adore David Spade. I think he is sarcastic, gross, morbid and stupidly hilarious. This show just didn't make me laugh that much. Maybe I was tired from driving 2 hours to get there. It just didn't hit my funny bone like I had hoped. Sorry David!

  • It was a wonderful time.

  • Sedated and boredom

Good to see a well known who has done so much, but this show was not very entertaining.

  • A-maize-ing

by Stacey on 9/10/24Clowes Memorial Hall - IndianapolisRating: 5 out of 5

David Spade killed it. We've always been fans, but we left feeling a little bit more love for him after seeing him do stand up live. I would definitely recommend seeing him! Katherine Blanford and Bobby Miyamoto were great additions, as well!

  • Poor Audio

by ColleenRey on 9/9/24Orpheum Theatre - MinneapolisRating: 3 out of 5

This is the second comedian I have seen at the Orpheum lately where the sound was awful. The first comedian of the night we couldn't understand at all. The second comedian was fine and David Spade's audio was in an out. We were seated in the 5th row right on the center aisle which are great seats, I would expect better audio quality. Going to thing long and hard before going to another comedian at the Orpheum.
