David Spade on Tour

David Spade is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer, talk show host, and television personality with razor-sharp sarcasm that will leave you in stitches. He's best known for his performances on "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) and hilariously endearing role in Joe Dirt (2001) -- a film he both starred in and co-wrote. Other box office hits from Spade's film career include popular titles like Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003), The Benchwarmers (2006), Grown Ups (2010), Grown Ups 2 (2013), and The Do Over (2016). In 2020, he was a People's Choice Award nominee for Favorite Comedy Movie Star in the film The Wrong Missy (2020). On the small screen, Spade received one Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations for his work playing the wise-cracking assistant, Dennis Finch, in the American sitcom "Just Shoot Me!" He also starred in the beloved CBS comedy "Rules of Engagement," joined the cast of "8 Simple Rules," co-wrote the screenplay and performed voiceovers on MTV's "Beavis and Butt-Head," and hosted "The Showbiz Show with David Spade." Later, he became the host of Comedy Central's "Lights out with David Spade." Over the years, Spade has entertained viewers with his self-deprecating humor and outrageous wit as the host of the Teen Choice Awards and the Spike Video Game Awards, and made guest appearances on sitcoms like "The Goldbergs" and reality TV programs such as "Bachelor in Paradise." Now, you can enjoy a no-holds-barred night of laughter with tickets to David Spade live on tour as he returns to the slapstick stand-up comedy that first made him famous.

David Spade Live

A natural prankster born on July 2, 1964, Arizona native David Spade started doing stand-up while he was young with his family and friends urging him onto the stages of bars, theaters and campuses across the country. He performed in Arizona State's long-running sketch comedy show multiple times, where he attended school as a fraternity member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He also got experience delivering laughs at Greasy Tony's Pizza during the Monday night comedy shows in the mid-'80s. In 1990, Spade took his comedy career to the next level when he joined the crew of "Saturday Night Live" -- first as a writer, then quickly making his way up to cast member. Shortly after his television debut on SNL, Rolling Stone dubbed him "Hot Stand-Up Comedian of the Year." Over the next five years, Spade would become a household favorite, well-known and loved for his comedic persona. He built his unique brand of sarcasm through skits like "Hollywood Minute" and "Total Bastard Airline" until eventually leaving the cast in 1996. His venture into film and television thereafter was immediately successful, earning himself a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame by 2003.

First opener was funny. Second one just okay. Was excited to get some good laughs from David Spade but unfortunately only got one. He just wasn’t funny. It was boring. I kept waiting for it to get better and the next thing I heard was thanks for coming out. Total waste of money I’m sorry to say. Had high expectations and was let down.

  • One Night Of David Laughing!

by DavidSpadeFan on 10/23/24Paramount Theatre - DenverRating: 4 out of 5

I have watched David Spade on TV & in his many movies, but I never saw him LIVE in person ever. Didn't know what to expect but David made jokes & comments that got everyone rolling in their seats laughing. He was so calm & casual like he is everyday but his show plus Bobby Miyamoto before him was hilarious. My original seating was changed last minute & getting to my seat was not funny. Had to deal with seating issues that happened before show began. The show was fantastic but construction & parking outside Paramount Theater was horrible. We'll see if I go to future shows.

  • Overall, a bad show

by Grant on 10/22/24Paramount Theatre - DenverRating: 1 out of 5

I have been a big fan of David Spade ever since I was a kid and I was extremely disappointed when I saw him live. This was supposed to be the night they filmed his special and the opener and main performance seemed like they weren't practiced and nervous. David Spade seemed like he was off, either drunk or just unprepared. A lot of the jokes were long winded or just stalled out after multiple minutes. Overall, very disappointed. Also, the couple sitting Infront of me we very tall and were snuggling half the show completely obstructing my view, I know that is no fault of the performers/venue but still very annoying. I've had better experiences at $10 comedy shows that come with a free drink let alone a show I payed over $100 a ticket.

  • David spade! Dang!

Such a fun experience , I enjoyed every minute of it, I just need to remember to make sure to not buy tickets behind the soundboard!,,

  • Disappointing

by DZ on 10/16/24Paramount Theatre - DenverRating: 1 out of 5

The performance was being filmed but we were not given any notice. Because of this, the bar closed at 6:45 as the show was supposed to start at 7pm. The bar was understaffed so most folks went in without even a drink to help find Spade humorous. The boom was all over the place as they filmed and was distracting and took away from being able to see the stage. David Spade was mediocre at best. Poorly prepared and not very funny.

  • Just a Disaster

by Very Disappointed on 10/16/24Rating: 1 out of 5

The David Spade show was an absolute disaster. Nicki was amazing. Something was wrong with him. I’ve seen him before we walked out and if we had time we would ask for money back. No one laughed. He forgot all his jokes was a catastrophe.

  • Meh

by TaraLM on 10/15/24Paramount Theatre - DenverRating: 3 out of 5

We love coming to comedy shows at the Paramount Theatre! We love the venue, but felt that David Spade's comedy show was underwhelming. Much of the content seemed dated; sounded like jokes we've heard before. Not what I would have expected from a filming.

I wish we would have been told that the bar was going to close 15 minutes before the show starts. We didn't like Paramount theater. Weren't enough bartenders either, and we weren't able to get drinks. Way too hot in there as well. Had trouble finding our seats, because the seat layout was different (backwards from diagram when seat purchase). Only had one opener (normally there's 2), and opener wasn't even funny. Bellco theater is way better. Just saying. David should go there instead. He was good!

  • Skip the filmed events

Saw David Spade at the Paramount the last time he was in town and it was amazing. This time not so much. He was still funny, but the distractions of filming, security and the inability to leave the auditorium at all was very frustrating and distracting. Much of the time the security person was standing in the aisle in our way, and if she wasn’t in the way, then the camera boom was.

Have loved Spade for a lifetime but never saw his stand up. This was probably the best stand up I've seen live EVER. I cried off all my makeup and talked about it for the rest of the week. Amazing show.

  • David Spade

by Sunshine on 10/14/24Paramount Theatre - DenverRating: 4 out of 5

Friday night we went to see David Spade, was told that we can’t get out of our seats not to look at our cell phone don’t move. You can’t go to the bathroom if I would’ve known before hand, I probably wouldn’t have came to the event! Usually, when you go to a comedy event, you want to have a couple of drinks the bar was closed quickly and rushed everyone to their seats like I said if I would’ve known, I probably wouldn’t of went to this event. I would’ve picked something else. Normally I do like, the Paramount I’ve never had a problem, but this particular one and I realize that he was Tapping I get it now. But again, if I would have known that we are not allowed to move go to the restroom get more drinks I probably would have not come to that event so it was disappointing not too happy about it. The first comedian was not that good and trying to get Used you know get you ready for David spade I would like somebody with a little more pizzazz. The next time I decide to come to the Paramount for an event I will definitely read all the fine print and find out exactly what’s going on before I purchase the ticket.

David Spade and the two opening acts put on a great show. Googling made us think it may be lackluster, but the show was great. Enjoyed it and would recommend it to others.

  • Awesome show! 😂

  • David Spade was Epic - Did Not Disappoint!

by Huge Fan of David Spade on 10/9/24Peabody Auditorium - Daytona BeachRating: 5 out of 5

David Spade was even funnier in person. I laughed throughout his time in the stage. I would absolutely pay to see him again — well worth the ticket price to sit close! I wish I could say the same for the opening acts. The first one was not funny, second one was ok, but both pales in comparison. Can’t say enough about how funny and entertaining David is in person!!!!!!!

  • Skip it

by LT on 10/1/24The Venetian Theatre at The Venetian Resort - Las VegasRating: 1 out of 5

Was really looking forward to seeing David Spade during my vacation in Vegas. He really had no substance in any of his humor until the very last story about a massage. The rest was just rambling with no real joke. Nikki Glaser was edgy, but the content was not something that was laughable. Skip it.
