About

David Spade on Tour

David Spade is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer, talk show host, and television personality with razor-sharp sarcasm that will leave you in stitches. He's best known for his performances on "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) and hilariously endearing role in Joe Dirt (2001) -- a film he both starred in and co-wrote. Other box office hits from Spade's film career include popular titles like Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003), The Benchwarmers (2006), Grown Ups (2010), Grown Ups 2 (2013), and The Do Over (2016). In 2020, he was a People's Choice Award nominee for Favorite Comedy Movie Star in the film The Wrong Missy (2020). On the small screen, Spade received one Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations for his work playing the wise-cracking assistant, Dennis Finch, in the American sitcom "Just Shoot Me!" He also starred in the beloved CBS comedy "Rules of Engagement," joined the cast of "8 Simple Rules," co-wrote the screenplay and performed voiceovers on MTV's "Beavis and Butt-Head," and hosted "The Showbiz Show with David Spade." Later, he became the host of Comedy Central's "Lights out with David Spade." Over the years, Spade has entertained viewers with his self-deprecating humor and outrageous wit as the host of the Teen Choice Awards and the Spike Video Game Awards, and made guest appearances on sitcoms like "The Goldbergs" and reality TV programs such as "Bachelor in Paradise." Now, you can enjoy a no-holds-barred night of laughter with tickets to David Spade live on tour as he returns to the slapstick stand-up comedy that first made him famous.

David Spade Live

A natural prankster born on July 2, 1964, Arizona native David Spade started doing stand-up while he was young with his family and friends urging him onto the stages of bars, theaters and campuses across the country. He performed in Arizona State's long-running sketch comedy show multiple times, where he attended school as a fraternity member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He also got experience delivering laughs at Greasy Tony's Pizza during the Monday night comedy shows in the mid-'80s. In 1990, Spade took his comedy career to the next level when he joined the crew of "Saturday Night Live" -- first as a writer, then quickly making his way up to cast member. Shortly after his television debut on SNL, Rolling Stone dubbed him "Hot Stand-Up Comedian of the Year." Over the next five years, Spade would become a household favorite, well-known and loved for his comedic persona. He built his unique brand of sarcasm through skits like "Hollywood Minute" and "Total Bastard Airline" until eventually leaving the cast in 1996. His venture into film and television thereafter was immediately successful, earning himself a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame by 2003.

  • Great Experience

by MelissaFail on 2/22/23Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - RenoRating: 5 out of 5

He was AWESOME! Came out and barely had a voice, but carried on with the show and gave it his all still. The venue is small enough that pretty much any seat is a good seat (large monitors too). His routine is hilarious and fresh and not material that I have heard before. Definitely would see him again!

I have always enjoyed David Spade over the years. This was my first time seeing him live and he was great. I am so glad he decided NOT to cancel his show because of an illness and losing his voice. Thanks David!

  • What a stand up guy!

David had been feeling really ill but didn’t want to let anyone down by cancelling. He did so well powering through and we had so much fun being there. What a great night!

  • Couldn’t Stop Laughing

David Spade was as hilarious as ever. Unfortunately he was a bit under the weather during our particular event, but he chose to go on and did not disappoint. The only thing his hoarse voice prevented was a few of his normal side effects and voices but he still had us all doubled over in laughter.

  • Great Time

My husband, Jim & I had a great time. Lots of laughs and it was good to be able to go out and NOT worry about any kind of masks and 6 foot distance. The venue and David Spade was awesome! I would go back to this venue the next time I am in town. I would also go and see David Spade again!

On 2-3-2023 David Spade finally came to Bethlehem PA for the first time! I hope it won't be his last. He did one of my favorites, "Burnt Sienna" and the dog impressions are always silly and wonderful. Definitely a Unicorn glitter day for the books and a pocket reminder for those tough times. <3 xoxo

Spade was hysterical from the minute he started talking! Great show!

  • Good show

by Mary on 2/7/23The Wind Creek Event Center - BethlehemRating: 5 out of 5

The female opener used vulgar humor to make up for in shock value what she lacked in real talent. I didn't find her funny at all. The second opener, Miamoto (sp?) and David Spade were excellent.

  • Funny but a bit uncomfortable?

by mommajo on 2/7/23The Wind Creek Event Center - BethlehemRating: 3 out of 5

David Spade was David Spade. Funny, original- but I felt like he was kinda phoning it in? He seemed like he would have rather been somewhere else? The space was rather ridiculous. Folding chairs in a big room that were so tightly packed, I think I was sitting on the lap on the stranger next to me. I would not see another show at this venue. If you are going to make us sit on folding chairs, maybe space them apart a hair so people can breathe.

  • Loved it.

Tickets were a present to my son and wife. They absolutely loved this show.

  • Spade Night

by Pallit on 2/6/23The Wind Creek Event Center - BethlehemRating: 4 out of 5

I was a bit disappointed in the beginning he honestly wasn't that funny. It got better as time went on but he seemed to be making things up as he went on. The other two comics that started him off in my opinion were just as funny and were more prepared than he was. I enjoyed the show but not sure if I would run to see him again.

  • David Spade @Wind Creek Event Center, Bethlehem, PA

by sas on 2/6/23The Wind Creek Event Center - BethlehemRating: 4 out of 5

David was great! I've always had a good experience at the event center. When I saw Chris Rock last year they made you lock your phone in a pouch. (I'm thinking that the entertainer themselves have to pay for this option) For David's show it was on the honor system to not use your phone during the show. Of course there were people breaking the rules. I was on the end of a row on the right. The ushers were staring people down, walking down rows to reprimand people, (guy behind us got told to put his phone away and he started being sarcastic and rude to the usher) so this all made it VERY distracting. Such a bummer. Not sure what they can do about this, but as much as I like being on an end, will try to avoid those seats in the future if it's a no cell phone policy for the act.

  • Funny

Theatre was soo cold. Spade was funny but clearly couldn’t even be bothered to take a shower before the show. Openers sucked
