David Spade on Tour
David Spade is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer, talk show host, and television personality with razor-sharp sarcasm that will leave you in stitches. He's best known for his performances on "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) and hilariously endearing role in Joe Dirt (2001) -- a film he both starred in and co-wrote. Other box office hits from Spade's film career include popular titles like Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003), The Benchwarmers (2006), Grown Ups (2010), Grown Ups 2 (2013), and The Do Over (2016). In 2020, he was a People's Choice Award nominee for Favorite Comedy Movie Star in the film The Wrong Missy (2020). On the small screen, Spade received one Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations for his work playing the wise-cracking assistant, Dennis Finch, in the American sitcom "Just Shoot Me!" He also starred in the beloved CBS comedy "Rules of Engagement," joined the cast of "8 Simple Rules," co-wrote the screenplay and performed voiceovers on MTV's "Beavis and Butt-Head," and hosted "The Showbiz Show with David Spade." Later, he became the host of Comedy Central's "Lights out with David Spade." Over the years, Spade has entertained viewers with his self-deprecating humor and outrageous wit as the host of the Teen Choice Awards and the Spike Video Game Awards, and made guest appearances on sitcoms like "The Goldbergs" and reality TV programs such as "Bachelor in Paradise." Now, you can enjoy a no-holds-barred night of laughter with tickets to David Spade live on tour as he returns to the slapstick stand-up comedy that first made him famous.
David Spade Live
A natural prankster born on July 2, 1964, Arizona native David Spade started doing stand-up while he was young with his family and friends urging him onto the stages of bars, theaters and campuses across the country. He performed in Arizona State's long-running sketch comedy show multiple times, where he attended school as a fraternity member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He also got experience delivering laughs at Greasy Tony's Pizza during the Monday night comedy shows in the mid-'80s. In 1990, Spade took his comedy career to the next level when he joined the crew of "Saturday Night Live" -- first as a writer, then quickly making his way up to cast member. Shortly after his television debut on SNL, Rolling Stone dubbed him "Hot Stand-Up Comedian of the Year." Over the next five years, Spade would become a household favorite, well-known and loved for his comedic persona. He built his unique brand of sarcasm through skits like "Hollywood Minute" and "Total Bastard Airline" until eventually leaving the cast in 1996. His venture into film and television thereafter was immediately successful, earning himself a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame by 2003.
David was a good as I was hoping for... very funny and I recommend seeing him. I'll see him again!
Great parking. I was notified early when tickets went on sale and was able to get good seats.
A night full of laughs! Was a great show with super funny opening acts! Can’t wait to see again!
It so amazing to see all the different varieties the PAC brings in, from comedy to musicals.
Great show..so funny My stomach hurt from laughter and he is everything you imagine from SNL and his movies
David Spade and his opening acts were fantastic. Was a bit hard to see on floor level due to seats angle not as pitched as many theaters today. But sound was great, aside from armrests being almost as narrow as average airline seats of today the seats were super comfy. Theater was very clean and everything was easy to find and navigate. One of the best comesy shows of the year so far!
Very good show. All the performers were very entertaining. Overall, good night at the PAC.
He was funny and I would see him again, definitely better than other acts I saw the same night
Opening acts were great. David Spade was good, but seemed to be going through the motions. Seemed like tried and true jokes but he kept looking at his watch like "when can I be done with this". Sound system was not great. We sat close to stage and it was hard to hear sometimes. Weird. Maybe the sound was better further back. Not worth what it cost us for the tickets.
David spade was amazing. Seats are spacious. Sound is great as well.
Loved the guy from our hometown. All the comedians were hilarious. I have not laughed that much in years. It was one funny thing after another. Spade is the man. So brilliant in his comedy delivery. Never misses a beat.
I’ve been a huge David Spade fan for a long time and this show was a blast!!
Not the Spade I was expecting. He came across the same as the first two comedians who were trying out new material. He was all over the place and none of the jokes were about current affairs. A HUGE disappointment
David Spade was great! He was open, friendly, had great stage presence and smooth delivery. Very entertaining. His opener, Bobby Miyamoto, was very funny!! I laughed out loud the most during his part of the show. I must say that I was mortified by the heckling from the crowd. They seemed to want to be part of the show, but didnt have anything clever to say. I guess there are a lot more rednecks in Boise than I thought. When the show was over, and the lights came on, there was trash everywhere! Ive never seen the Morrison Center so desecrated. I was disappointed in my community, to say the least.
Some dated jokes. Wanted to laugh till my face hurt, but it just didn’t happen. Still great to see him.
The venue was very nice, the comedy was pretty boring in my opinion, I don't remember laughing even once.
All 3 comedians were very good! It was very fun! Seats were affordable. It was neat having a Boise native there!
The star of The Wrong Missy Delivered a very funny and entertaining show. A lot of crab jokes, but it worked.
I’ve always enjoyed David Spade on tv. I think the venue was too big for him and it felt difficult to connect. He had some brilliant moments that were laugh out loud funny, but just not enough strong material.
Spade was great! So funny and able to stay pretty clean, within reason. Great opening acts too!
