David Spade on Tour

David Spade is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer, talk show host, and television personality with razor-sharp sarcasm that will leave you in stitches. He's best known for his performances on "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) and hilariously endearing role in Joe Dirt (2001) -- a film he both starred in and co-wrote. Other box office hits from Spade's film career include popular titles like Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003), The Benchwarmers (2006), Grown Ups (2010), Grown Ups 2 (2013), and The Do Over (2016). In 2020, he was a People's Choice Award nominee for Favorite Comedy Movie Star in the film The Wrong Missy (2020). On the small screen, Spade received one Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations for his work playing the wise-cracking assistant, Dennis Finch, in the American sitcom "Just Shoot Me!" He also starred in the beloved CBS comedy "Rules of Engagement," joined the cast of "8 Simple Rules," co-wrote the screenplay and performed voiceovers on MTV's "Beavis and Butt-Head," and hosted "The Showbiz Show with David Spade." Later, he became the host of Comedy Central's "Lights out with David Spade." Over the years, Spade has entertained viewers with his self-deprecating humor and outrageous wit as the host of the Teen Choice Awards and the Spike Video Game Awards, and made guest appearances on sitcoms like "The Goldbergs" and reality TV programs such as "Bachelor in Paradise." Now, you can enjoy a no-holds-barred night of laughter with tickets to David Spade live on tour as he returns to the slapstick stand-up comedy that first made him famous.

David Spade Live

A natural prankster born on July 2, 1964, Arizona native David Spade started doing stand-up while he was young with his family and friends urging him onto the stages of bars, theaters and campuses across the country. He performed in Arizona State's long-running sketch comedy show multiple times, where he attended school as a fraternity member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He also got experience delivering laughs at Greasy Tony's Pizza during the Monday night comedy shows in the mid-'80s. In 1990, Spade took his comedy career to the next level when he joined the crew of "Saturday Night Live" -- first as a writer, then quickly making his way up to cast member. Shortly after his television debut on SNL, Rolling Stone dubbed him "Hot Stand-Up Comedian of the Year." Over the next five years, Spade would become a household favorite, well-known and loved for his comedic persona. He built his unique brand of sarcasm through skits like "Hollywood Minute" and "Total Bastard Airline" until eventually leaving the cast in 1996. His venture into film and television thereafter was immediately successful, earning himself a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame by 2003.

Overall it was a great experience! I do wish people had been seated by 8:00pm, and didn’t get up so much during the show though.

  • Unbelievably funny

I haven’t laughed that much in a long time. Man, what a great show. David Spade is at the top of his game. I love standup and I’m not quick to throw around praise. If you get the chance, checkout Spade. Bring your friends, make a night of it. Well worth it. Grateful for the laughs, they were needed.

  • Great Experience

Organized entry, pleasant safety and security checks, helpful staff everywhere. The opening acts were great. David did not disappoint. We sat on the 4th level and did not strain a bit to enjoy the show. It was a great time.

  • Spade in Nashville

by Michael on 4/22/23Rating: 3 out of 5

Spade was fine. He looked at his setlist on his stool after each joke. So he didn’t know his act very well. No theme throughout the set. Audiences get tired quickly during comedy shows. So three comics in 2 hours seemed like much longer. A couple big laughs from spade but pretty mediocre. The first two openers were good.

  • Great performance

Me and my children loved the show. My youngest hasn't stopped talking about it. Well worth the couple hour drive from Virginia.

  • Meh

This show was mediocre at best. Both opening acts did not have the energy to set the tone for the show- lackluster energy. Spade had a few funny moments but he was not at Al polished in his timing or craft. I’ve been to better.

  • Waited a long time for this night

by Rockfallgal on 3/14/23Great Cedar Showroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino - LedyardRating: 5 out of 5

I have been a fan of David Spade, since I first heard his, "and you are?" on SNL. I have followed his career, listen to Fly on the Wall, religiously, and have audio booked. He has my type of humor, not vulgarities or political. I am sorry the Northeast is a tough crowd. My son who is 46 came as my date and it was a great night out! Thank you.

  • Disappointed

by MP on 3/14/23Great Cedar Showroom at Foxwoods Resort Casino - LedyardRating: 2 out of 5

Was really looking forward to the David Spade show. I’m an avid standup lover and this was a very disappointing show. Right down the line, opener, setup, and headliner - all did not deliver. David Spade seemed to just be going through the motions and it felt like he just mailed it in. Not fair to people who paid to see a good show.

  • The GOAT!!

He’s the G.O.A.T.!!! Absolutely perfect! Love this man!

  • Spade Killed in Medford!

by Justin on 3/13/23Chevalier Theatre - MedfordRating: 5 out of 5

Great show. Opened with an upcoming comic with a bit of a Fred Armisen delivery who was the perfect start. Then we had Wendy Liebman who was even better. Then David Spade came out and was hilarious start to finish. Heard a couple bits we had heard before, probably from Fly on the Wall, and everything else was new. It was all great!!

  • Fantastic night of laughter!

by dmg on 3/13/23Chevalier Theatre - MedfordRating: 5 out of 5

We went to dinner before the show at Salvatore's - great Bolognese and smooth Old Fashion libations! The show was sold out - creating a better environment for group belly laughs! David Spade has a unique ability to be the everyday guy with level of easy going that is appealing to all! Thank you for sharing your talents by going on tour!

  • Good fun night out

Good opener comedian and fun night out to see David spade

  • Eh...

by Reggie on 3/13/23Chevalier Theatre - MedfordRating: 3 out of 5

David didnt seem to want to be there. He complained about how cold it was, and appeared to be unprepared with no real comedic plan for the act. Had a couple of good laughs in the hour or so he was on-stage, but was generally unimpressed. Many people left before he was done.

  • Brave performance

by Guitardale on 2/23/23Grand Sierra Resort and Casino - RenoRating: 4 out of 5

David Spade was under the weather but he didn’t want cancel the performance. Which was admirable. Unfortunately I’ve heard a few of the stories he told on that night. Overall a good performance.
