David Spade on Tour

David Spade is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer, talk show host, and television personality with razor-sharp sarcasm that will leave you in stitches. He's best known for his performances on "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) and hilariously endearing role in Joe Dirt (2001) -- a film he both starred in and co-wrote. Other box office hits from Spade's film career include popular titles like Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003), The Benchwarmers (2006), Grown Ups (2010), Grown Ups 2 (2013), and The Do Over (2016). In 2020, he was a People's Choice Award nominee for Favorite Comedy Movie Star in the film The Wrong Missy (2020). On the small screen, Spade received one Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations for his work playing the wise-cracking assistant, Dennis Finch, in the American sitcom "Just Shoot Me!" He also starred in the beloved CBS comedy "Rules of Engagement," joined the cast of "8 Simple Rules," co-wrote the screenplay and performed voiceovers on MTV's "Beavis and Butt-Head," and hosted "The Showbiz Show with David Spade." Later, he became the host of Comedy Central's "Lights out with David Spade." Over the years, Spade has entertained viewers with his self-deprecating humor and outrageous wit as the host of the Teen Choice Awards and the Spike Video Game Awards, and made guest appearances on sitcoms like "The Goldbergs" and reality TV programs such as "Bachelor in Paradise." Now, you can enjoy a no-holds-barred night of laughter with tickets to David Spade live on tour as he returns to the slapstick stand-up comedy that first made him famous.

David Spade Live

A natural prankster born on July 2, 1964, Arizona native David Spade started doing stand-up while he was young with his family and friends urging him onto the stages of bars, theaters and campuses across the country. He performed in Arizona State's long-running sketch comedy show multiple times, where he attended school as a fraternity member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He also got experience delivering laughs at Greasy Tony's Pizza during the Monday night comedy shows in the mid-'80s. In 1990, Spade took his comedy career to the next level when he joined the crew of "Saturday Night Live" -- first as a writer, then quickly making his way up to cast member. Shortly after his television debut on SNL, Rolling Stone dubbed him "Hot Stand-Up Comedian of the Year." Over the next five years, Spade would become a household favorite, well-known and loved for his comedic persona. He built his unique brand of sarcasm through skits like "Hollywood Minute" and "Total Bastard Airline" until eventually leaving the cast in 1996. His venture into film and television thereafter was immediately successful, earning himself a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame by 2003.

  • David was great as expected

by Andi420 on 9/19/23Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino Event Center - Niagara FallsRating: 4 out of 5

I think David was testing some material and it seemed like he just flew in. First opener was not funny, second was pretty good. Would see David again. Venue was okay. No phones allowed or food and it was freezing.

  • He’s still got it

Great show by all 3 performers. David capped off the night with a great series of jokes. He is still a legend and just as funny as when on SNL.

  • Great show

Nikki Glaser was excellent!! I really enjoyed David Spade as well, but had heard some material from other specials. The opener was good as well.

  • Glaser is the best

Nikki Glaser was great Spade was ok....She should have been the headliner. Spade mailed it in.

  • Spade never disappoints! Glaser: the icing on the cake!

2 professionals at the height of their crafts. A truly enjoyable evening. Their contrasting styles made for a perfect match.

  • Good but too short

by Userrabble on 7/4/23Rating: 3 out of 5

Davis Spade is hilarious but he was only on stage for maybe 30 minutes. I guess that is because he was performing with Nikki Glaser but she was not very funny so that was wasted time.

  • Low energy show

by Hoping for more on 7/4/23Rating: 3 out of 5

David had a few good jokes but overall this was a timid performance. He had low energy and seem to loose his train of thought at times.

  • Hilarious

I would say that my family isn't necessarily a David Spade fan, but we saw this show in Vegas and he had us in stitches! Just dry sarcasm with a punch line that is delivered as if he is speaking to you as a friend telling a story, with no real punch line! Just laughter all along the way. I would definitely go see him again. My only complaint is he was too short. His two opening comedians were also so funny, but Nikki Glaser's routine was at least as long as Spade's.

  • Lots of Laughs in Vegas

    by Kevin R on 7/3/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Can’t really leave a glowing review of the opening act. Didn’t think he was funny at all. Nikki Glaser and David Spade were excellent. Made the one night trip from Anaheim to Vegas well worth the drive. Second time seeing Spade first time seeing Nikki. Both 5 star acts!

  • Great time!

David Spade was downright hilarious. Just wished his time on stage was longer. Nikki Glaser was comical but content was playful and definitely nasty at times. The opener was a crowd pleaser for sure. Seat selection was easy and had a great view1

  • Great show.

  • not as funny as i had hoped

by alanb on 5/2/23Venetian Theatre at the Venetian Las Vegas - Las VegasRating: 3 out of 5

Good show, material was a little weak. Humouress, made me smile but not laugh. Nikkis Glasser was funny but some of her material was about old controversial topic/event, unfortunately not funny. I know she has more talent but just did not bring it this night. Opening act was very good.

David Spade, wasn’t very good. Long, drawn out stories. That weren’t very funny. Very disappointed, I thought he would be much better. Nikki Glaser, (the opening act) was much better!! She had a very interesting perspective of how females think.

  • Funny

David delivered an amazing show as well as Nikki Glasser. The show was so good it felt like it was about 10 minutes. It was a great night out in Vegas with a ton of options and would go again.

  • Spade can’t do comedy

    by C.W. on 5/1/23Rating: 1 out of 5

If I could leave no stars I would. Saw David Spade in Las Vegas with Nikki Glaser. Nikki is by far funnier than David. David had no flow to his routine. As he was telling his jokes it seemed that he kept forgetting some of it. The way he ended his show was awful. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Nikki on the other hand was very funny. But if you get offended easily then she is not for you. If I was Nikki I would stay clear of David and as he is going to bring her down.

  • Not funny at all
