David Spade on Tour

David Spade is a stand-up comedian, actor, writer, talk show host, and television personality with razor-sharp sarcasm that will leave you in stitches. He's best known for his performances on "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) and hilariously endearing role in Joe Dirt (2001) -- a film he both starred in and co-wrote. Other box office hits from Spade's film career include popular titles like Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003), The Benchwarmers (2006), Grown Ups (2010), Grown Ups 2 (2013), and The Do Over (2016). In 2020, he was a People's Choice Award nominee for Favorite Comedy Movie Star in the film The Wrong Missy (2020). On the small screen, Spade received one Emmy and two Golden Globe nominations for his work playing the wise-cracking assistant, Dennis Finch, in the American sitcom "Just Shoot Me!" He also starred in the beloved CBS comedy "Rules of Engagement," joined the cast of "8 Simple Rules," co-wrote the screenplay and performed voiceovers on MTV's "Beavis and Butt-Head," and hosted "The Showbiz Show with David Spade." Later, he became the host of Comedy Central's "Lights out with David Spade." Over the years, Spade has entertained viewers with his self-deprecating humor and outrageous wit as the host of the Teen Choice Awards and the Spike Video Game Awards, and made guest appearances on sitcoms like "The Goldbergs" and reality TV programs such as "Bachelor in Paradise." Now, you can enjoy a no-holds-barred night of laughter with tickets to David Spade live on tour as he returns to the slapstick stand-up comedy that first made him famous.

David Spade Live

A natural prankster born on July 2, 1964, Arizona native David Spade started doing stand-up while he was young with his family and friends urging him onto the stages of bars, theaters and campuses across the country. He performed in Arizona State's long-running sketch comedy show multiple times, where he attended school as a fraternity member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon. He also got experience delivering laughs at Greasy Tony's Pizza during the Monday night comedy shows in the mid-'80s. In 1990, Spade took his comedy career to the next level when he joined the crew of "Saturday Night Live" -- first as a writer, then quickly making his way up to cast member. Shortly after his television debut on SNL, Rolling Stone dubbed him "Hot Stand-Up Comedian of the Year." Over the next five years, Spade would become a household favorite, well-known and loved for his comedic persona. He built his unique brand of sarcasm through skits like "Hollywood Minute" and "Total Bastard Airline" until eventually leaving the cast in 1996. His venture into film and television thereafter was immediately successful, earning himself a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame by 2003.

  • Spade and Glaser

Great show and great combo with different styles but funny non the less!

  • Unpolished

by Unclear on 9/30/23Town Hall - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

Surprised that Spade wasn’t more polished, both in materials and appearance. Felt like a practice set at the Cellar, not a stage show. Openers were weak, one joke comics. They did not “warm up” the crowd, but I think served to make Spade look better. He is a funny guy! Should have and could have been better. Just saw Chelsea Handler, with Sam Jay as middle - two super pros with clear framework for solid sets. Master class.

  • Funny, as expected

by Susie Robo on 9/29/23F.M. Kirby Center - Wilkes-BarreRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve been a David Spade fan forever so I was thrilled when I saw he was coming to my area. I read his memoir beforehand which was also dry and hysterical. He did not disappoint!!!

  • Very Funny!

Exactly as expected, very very funny! Wish he was slightly raunchier, but very good!

by kate on 9/26/23Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

David Spade was hilarious. He made me laugh for the entire hour he performed. He's just so clever and funny. Definitely a show worth the trip (8 hours away).

  • Great Show

by Susan on 9/26/23Town Hall - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

You will ALWAYS laugh when you see David Spade - you can't help it - he is a very, very funny guy & I have always enjoyed him ! Just wish the show was a bit longer & that he talked about more current stuff in the news - kind of what he does best.

  • Meh...

by MCMartin on 9/26/23Town Hall - New YorkRating: 3 out of 5

I have never seen David Spade perform so perhaps this was his style, but I felt like his topics were all over the place. No real segue from one topic to another. More importantly, he had two opening comics along with his time, the concert was 90 minutes. Our one-way travel to the venue took more than that.

  • Spade Funny as Hell

by AJ on 9/26/23Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

Ponied up for 5th row, center seats, and so worth it to be that close to the legend himself, David Spade. Two opening acts, the first was fine, the 2nd, Bobby Miyamoto, was hilarious (he did about 15 minutes, as did the first comic, forget her name sorry). Spade did about an hour, which was amazing, and he was hilarious from the beginning to the end. I (and everyone else around me) laughed for the entire hour. Definitely want to see him again - he gave everyone their money’s worth. Very nice venue too.

  • Spade

by Clkhughes on 9/26/23Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

The performance was great. But I kept thinking the whole time that the drunk guy behind me belching and kicking my chair was going to projectile vomit on my head. I was bracing myself on each belch. And the nut job lady in front of me kept raising her hand. All I could think about was am I going to get barfed on and is this lady going to stand up and ask a question. Other than that, I had a great time and would definitely see another Spade show again.

  • Hysterical!

by Bob C on 9/26/23Town Hall - New YorkRating: 5 out of 5

A killer show with virtually no comedy let up! Top to bottom laughs.

  • Spade is fading

by Otis on 9/25/23Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino Event Center - Niagara FallsRating: 3 out of 5

The first warm up comedian was the best of the three. David Spade told of personal experiences that were not that funny. Perhaps just an off night.

  • Spade is Spade - always hilarious

by Cee on 9/25/23Town Hall - New YorkRating: 4 out of 5

Opener was really tough - Katherine Branford I think her name was? I don’t think my entire group even cracked a smile, never mind laughed. Perhaps an off night but she seemed very amateur to be with someone as big as David Spade. Theater was great, event staff was great, and Spade is fantastic, would absolutely go see him again,’and in this venue!

  • David Spade NYC

by Dawnie on 9/25/23Town Hall - New YorkRating: 1 out of 5

The Theatre was beautiful, the seats were great. Wish I could say the same about David Spade. He started his act with old news. Bottom line he was not funny. In fact we left 30 minutes into his act. Total waste of our time and money.

  • Disappointed

by Dani on 9/24/23Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino Event Center - Niagara FallsRating: 1 out of 5

First and last time at venue....unorganized, 2 small drink stands with long lines, loud & obnoxious guests the staff do nothing to address, extremely uncomfortable seating. And David Spade was super disappointing

  • Great concert

by Rosie on 9/20/23Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino Event Center - Niagara FallsRating: 5 out of 5

David Spade was hilarious!! Lots of funny stories and jokes … he is the best!! His two opening comics were good as well …

  • David was great, the event center was awful

by Dave on 9/20/23Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino Event Center - Niagara FallsRating: 3 out of 5

David Spade is hysterical its unfortunate that the event center at Seneca Niagara unfortunately takes way from that. With awful seating and usures constantly interrupting the performance talking in the isles, pointing flashlights all over the place, and poor sound quality. Its unfortunate but I'd never go back to the venue.

My husband and I loved the show. We’ve loved David Spade since his early days doing HBO Specials. The venue was great, easy to get into, and parking was free. Great event. And I won money at the casino after the show. BONUS!!
