When Dave Koz takes the stage, all is quiet as the audience intently listens to every pure note from the seasoned saxophonist. Playing both tenor and alto sax, his fingers glide across the instrument with an ease that can't be matched. Whether he's performing chart-topping hits like "Life In the Fast Lane" and "Put the Top Down" or launching into an epic solo, Koz's grace on the woodwind instrument is exceptional, full of trills, thrills, and spontaneity during his hit-filled set lists. Dave Koz returns to the stage in 2014 for his upcoming Summer Horns tour as well as a string of highly anticipated shows with Barry Manilow.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Starting out in his high school's jazz band, Dave Koz fell in love with the saxophone early on, deciding to pursue music full time after graduating from college. He landed on tour with Bobby Caldwell not long after and served as a studio musician in the '80s before launching his breakout solo career. Since then, Koz has released 15 studio albums — eight of which have reached the Top 10 of the Billboard Jazz chart — and four No. 1 jazz singles. Not only is the nine-time Grammy nominee a sensational saxophonist, but he's also a radio personality, television host, and philanthropist, serving as a Global Ambassador for the Starlight Children's Foundation. Koz will delight fans with his smooth jazz sounds on his upcoming tour dates.

This was a fabulous show with some of the best musicians in the world. A great mix of holiday classics and personal hits. This group, as Dave Koz explained, are close friends and it showed in their performances together.

I loved everything about Dave Koz and Friends Holiday tour. They were all so talented and entertaining. I am 44 years old and I grew up listening to Dave Koz and love his song you make me smile. When I saw that he was coming for Christmas to Sound board I had to get tickets to see him. I was impressed by all the talent he had with him and how funny he was. They were all so phenomenal and I will go see them all again. What a great night of music, talent and fun! I even got to hear my favorite song by Dave Koz and they were amazing! Thank you for everything that Sound Board did for this event to take place and to make the whole evening perfect. Sound board did a great job and the staff at Sound Board is amazing, friendly and helped me get to my seat and knew everything about what was going on, very well organized and put on. Great night!! Dave Koz put on one hell of a show. His enthusiasm and stage presents is wonderful. His Christmas show definitely sets the tone for Christmas. Dave Koz, Jonathan Butler, Rick Bran and Richard Elliott get an A+++++ from me. Well done gentlemen and lady.

Two hours of musical magic which will put anyone in the Christmas spirit. Traditional holiday arrangements mixed with new and fun holiday arrangements, all presented by some very talented jazz performers on the same ticket. Have always enjoyed the venue.
Had a great time, original seats were a small issue but, after moving to a better seat it was great!

The Dave Koz holiday show was wonderful. All four lead musicians, accompanying band, and guest vocalist were top shelf. Other than Johnathan Butler, I had no idea these 'instrumentalists' could sing. Great sound, songs, and production. Will definitely do this show again next year.
Each of the artists who are superb in their own rights came together and made for a magnificent experience. The event put us in the Christmas spirit and as we left it was obvious that others had enjoyed themselves as well as people were singing and dancing as we exited the building.

This was kind of a bucket list show for us. The dates and location matched up nicely so we made the trip from Greenville to Charleston for the event. We are long time smooth jazz fans and had seen all the performers previously but not with a Christmas theme. We were not disappointed. Dave Koz is the ultimate showman and his fellow performers were outstanding. Would highly recommend!!!
