DAVE KOZ IN CONCERT:

When Dave Koz takes the stage, all is quiet as the audience intently listens to every pure note from the seasoned saxophonist. Playing both tenor and alto sax, his fingers glide across the instrument with an ease that can't be matched. Whether he's performing chart-topping hits like "Life In the Fast Lane" and "Put the Top Down" or launching into an epic solo, Koz's grace on the woodwind instrument is exceptional, full of trills, thrills, and spontaneity during his hit-filled set lists. Dave Koz returns to the stage in 2014 for his upcoming Summer Horns tour as well as a string of highly anticipated shows with Barry Manilow.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Starting out in his high school's jazz band, Dave Koz fell in love with the saxophone early on, deciding to pursue music full time after graduating from college. He landed on tour with Bobby Caldwell not long after and served as a studio musician in the '80s before launching his breakout solo career. Since then, Koz has released 15 studio albums — eight of which have reached the Top 10 of the Billboard Jazz chart — and four No. 1 jazz singles. Not only is the nine-time Grammy nominee a sensational saxophonist, but he's also a radio personality, television host, and philanthropist, serving as a Global Ambassador for the Starlight Children's Foundation. Koz will delight fans with his smooth jazz sounds on his upcoming tour dates.

    I must say, I thought this was Dave's best show I have seen so far! I have been to 3 of his previous concerts at the Plaza Theatre, which were all absolutely wonderful, but this one was the best!! So much energy, and non-stop entertainment!! Dave & Brian were terrific together, but the whole band plays such an intricate part to the show that it really gives so much variety to the evening!!! It was a rockin' jazz evening that I will never forget!! I did enjoy Peabo Bryson, but I missed the singer that has been with Dave the past couple of years.

    My wife and I really enjoyed the concert last night. Performances were spectacular and fun! We both love the variety of music, ranging from smooth jazz, R&B, rock, etc. Brian and Peabo just added to the effect of the whole performance. Hey Dave, some of us drove down from Las Cruces to watch, this is our third conference. The only negative comment was that sometimes, the bass settings were slightly too powerful.

    Beautiful venue! Brian and Dave were electrifying and Peabo, WOW! What a voice. Very nice evening...highly recommended. Can't wait for the December event!

    I have NEVER enjoyed an event as much as I enjoyed this one. I was always a Dave Koz fan, but I had never heard of Brian Culbertson until this event. I am now a Dave Koz and Brian Culbertson fan. Worth every penny!!!

    Great perfomance. We were blown away. The musical talent and song writing ability of this group is outstanding. I have recently seen the Rippingtons and Boney James here in Houston live. I liked all three concerts, but this one was outstanding. Dave Koz is a great sax man and I like the sax. Culbertson is just awesome on the keyboard and he played the trombone too. The natural talent of these guys is unreal. The rest of the group was great as well. If you have a chance to see this concert, DON'T MISS IT !!!

    WOW...WHAT A FANTASTIC SHOW. (AS USUAL) THE ENERGY AND FUN DAVE, BRIAN AND PEABO HAS ON STAGE IS AMAZING. WELL WORTH THE PRICE AND TIME WELL SPENT. CATCH THIS SHOW IF YOU CAN.

    I loved loved, loved, loved it!!! I would recommed anyone go see Dave Koz. Brian Culbertson were the perfect fit for entertainment. I'm excited to go back and see Dave Koz in December for his Christmas show.

    Absolutely one of the top five concerts of my life. The band was great and seemed to have as much fun as we in the audience. Culberson and Koz played off each other perfectly and had a great rapport even when not playing. Really do not believe this could have been any better. I would go see them again today.

    I have been a Dave Koz fan since his first CD in 1992. While this was my first time to see him live, it won't be the last. It was amazing to hear a yet to be released song from his next CD. You could tell that the entire group was having a great time. I will have to watch for him to return to Houston. I want to be there.

PEABO BRYSON BROUGHT BACK ALOT OF MEMORIES WITH GOOD ROMANTIC SONGS.BRIAN CULBERTSON WAS UNBELIEVABLE. FIRST TIME I'VE SEEN HIM , WHAT A SHOW! WHO WOULD OF EVER THOUGHT A TROMBONE COULD BE PLAYED LIKE THAT!!!!! PLAYING THE KEYBOARD BACKWARDS??? WOW! IT WAS AN INCREDIBLE EVENING OF THE BEST OF MUSIC!
