If you like politically incorrect humor, Tosh is a must!!!!
Never seen his live stand up bit before, so I was a bit skeptical! He was right on par! Quit witted and sharp tounged as I was hoping for! Will definitely see him again!
Daniel tosh was completely offensive, foul mouthed, and oh sooo very inappropiate...it was awesome! I didn't and couldn't stop laughing!
This was my first time seeing Daniel Tosh live... My girlfriend had seen him live on numerous occasions in Irvine, but this was a much larger venue in SB. The house was pretty full (not sold out) but at least 90%. The first two comics were decent, they held their own on an easy to please crowd (this isnt NYC). Tosh came out as a professional and entertained for a good hour and 15 min or so and was hilarious the entire time. He made it "hail on the crowd" and had a good amount of new material from what i hear. I would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of stand up or his TV show. This was a great evening and WELL worth the money. The only downside was that the venue did not serve alcohol... In a party city, my girlfriend and I dined on Sprite and Sour Patch Kids. I think Tosh would have enjoyed himself 10 times more if the crowd was a bit more wild.
The venue was beautiful and the show had me and my friends laughing non-stop. They had two openers who were also very funny. Great time all around!
AMAZING SHOW!! I have seen Daniel Tosh on his Comedy Central show Tosh.O and he was even better live than i had anticipated. A side note, his opener Jasper Red was also hilarious! Good stuff, AMERICA!
Always a good time with Tosh. Thanks for the laughs!
GREAT show! I laughed so hard my face still hurts. Loved that he had zero props/lighting/etc. He went for 1 1/2 hrs without stopping-all new material.
Daniel is very entertaining. He had new material and didn't hold anything back. Great show!!
Well done, sold out and a lot of fun. I'd love to see him again, anywhere.
This show was even better than expected. I'm a huge fan of Daniel Tosh's Comedy Central show Tosh.0, but his standup is even better. He is completely uncensored and unapologetic for being entirely politically incorrect. If racisim, sexism, or prejudice in general offends you, he may not be the act for your taste.
He seemed a little less enthusiastic than I had witnessed in his TV special, but the sarcasm and humor definitely met my expectations. He's very funny.
The first comic was pretty funny and then the second kind of made me want to get up and go get a drink, but once Tosh came out my wife and I knew it was worth the hour and a half drive up to Santa Barbara to see him.
I love Tosh.0 and expected the same type of laugh out loud shocking humor. What I got was somewhat shocking, but not very humorous. I really wanted to laugh but he never really brought it home. Will continue to watch the tv show, but will not pay to see him live again.
Tosh was not a disappointment at all. Hilarious as usual. Great night, good opening acts, and Tosh made the night. I want to see him again.
When i showed up last night, i wasn't quite sure what to expect. I have liked Daniel Tosh for a good 4 years now, well before Tosh.0 came out and most of his fans heard about him, but never got around to actually getting tickets for a show before he was out of California. I have a few friends who have seen him at college tours around the country who told me he is just amazing, and that if there was one thing i needed to do before i died, it was see Daniel Tosh live. well, i can now say that i can die happy, because he is indeed AMAZING live! anyone who has seen his comedy central presents or Tosh.0 and thinks he is funny, GO SEE HIM LIVE. only when he doesn't have to censor himself can you truly appreciate Tosh's humor. I couldn't help but be worried that he would lose the sense of humor that endeared me to him in the first place (because of the show), as has happened with comedians like Jeff Dunham, Carlos Mencia, and Dane Cook- all of whom were funny before they got shows/movie deals and then went downhill afterwards... but as the title says, he's still got it! if anything, he is funnier now than when i first saw him a few years back. so all in all, it was probably one of the best shows i have ever attended, and i can't wait to see him again!
If you are a Tosh.0 fan, then seeing DT in action is a must. I became a fan after seeing his stand-up on Comedy Central, just before the series aired. He delivered as expected, keeping to his multi-dimensional, anything goes style. The show did seem to slow down at one point towards the end but he finished with a bang. This just shows how difficult it is, even for Tosh, to keep his level of comedy going for over an hour. The opening comedians made for a great night of comedy overall!
Daniel was amazing. He had a great evening planned out for us and executed it swimmingly. He had great openers for his show, and the show was great in length. I had a great time, we had great seats, and I would highly recommend this show to anyone who wants a night full of fun and laughter.
Tosh will make you laugh the whole way through. I thought he was hilarious. Just come open minded
If you've seen Daniel on YouTube, then you'll love his live stand up. I personally enjoy his standup much more than his TV show. And I didn't hear any "recycled" material. Everything was new to me, and 90% of it had the audience rolling. He did have a list of material that he consulted and regularly checked it and crossed off material that didn't get the response he wanted. Go See Him!
