Daniel Tosh, as always, lived up to his high expectations. He mixed some old stuff in with some new stuff. He's by far the best comedian I have seen live.

  • Daniel Tosh was at his best!!

Daniel Tosh hit one out of the park Saturday night in Reno. His stand up is 10 times better than his TV show. He doesn't hold back and everyone is game. Can't wait to see him again.

  • Daniel Live!!!!

    by ls11 on 7/12/10Silver Legacy Casino - RenoRating: 4 out of 5

Daniel was very funny, but it was pretty obvious from the start that he's uncomfortable on stage in front of a live audience (which totally surprised me since he's been doing stand up for so many years). I love his TV show and have never seen him in person so I was really looking forward to the show (we live in the Bay Area and drove to Reno and made a weekend out of going to see him). When he came out on stage he started out by telling us that he isn't really good on stage/in person and he was totally spot on! He seemed really nervous, made a lot of mistakes in his jokes and he kept looking down on his script to know which joke to go to next. I kept getting the feeling that he couldn't wait for the show to be over. As I said in the beginning of my review, he WAS funny and I enjoyed the show but I could tell how uncomfortable he was and I wanted to go up on stage to give him a hug and tell him he was doing great. I guess that's the mom in me. :-)

  • Tosh is one funny SOB

by LilWhoDizzle on 7/12/10Silver Legacy Casino - RenoRating: 5 out of 5

The Jasper guy that came out first was way funny! Then in classic Tosh style Mr Daniel Tosh took the stage and I was laughing pretty much non stop, the show was everything I'd hope it would be. Hilarious, awesome.

  • Funnier Than Expected

Saw Daniel Tosh in Reno last night. Bought the tix for my husband because he loves Tosh.o. Daniel was much funnier than I expected. Since his show is really more the hubby's thing, I wasn't hoping for a whole lot. I laughed almost constantly and left with sore cheeks. And the warm-up comic was funny, too. Thanks for capping off a great evening.

  • Tosh is Funny as Hell

    by 4FromSac on 7/11/10Silver Legacy Casino - RenoRating: 5 out of 5

Great first act; material was relevant and very funny. Tosh was flat out funny as hell also. We went with a group of four and we would all definitely see him a gain.

The most inappropriately funny guy ever. I'm wondering if his touching of everything on the stage when he first came out was an act or is he OCD?

Unbelievably funny. He interacted with the audience, referenced his show, and it was 99% material I have never heard

  • A few speed bumps.

by SFNut on 6/18/10Novellus Theater at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts - San FranciscoRating: 3 out of 5

Pretty exciting night! We had to get there early to make sure we're all in our seats 1/2 an hour before the show started (or we'd lose them to someone else (?) . After rushing in we found you COULD bring refreshments into the theatre so this was misleading and we had to go back to grab waters (hoping no one would give away the seats we purchased). Opening act comes out - he's ok - but then the fire alarms went off and wouldn't stop. Yerba Buena folks didn't know what to do - lots of running around while the warm-up looked confused. No one from theatre let the audience know what was going on so we be burned alive by the time everyone could get out of the room. The show? Actually, it was pretty dull. Daniel has grown to be a great commentator and has lost his natural knack for stand-up. The whole night felt like a low-budget television show taping you would attend in Las Vegas or LA. We bought tickets to see a great stand-up and were really disappointed. Daniel looked great and the set was cool -- but he seemed bored and couldn't wait for the show to be over - which was disappointing. Before the encore he said he's leave then come back out for a few more jokes, etc. I'm glad we went though. If I paid for the DVD I'd really be disappointed.

  • Great show!

The show was just as hilarious as you would expect! The opening act was great, except for the "heckle" by the fire alarm, but it was handled masterfully! Daniel Tosh delivered a great act, I think even better than his last special!

  • Tosh was great!

GREAT SHOW!!! A few days later, and I'm still thinking about jokes he said and still laughing out loud!

  • Tosh in San Francisco for his new DVD

by JimmyJamnotTerryLewis on 6/13/10Novellus Theater at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts - San FranciscoRating: 4 out of 5

Tosh as always was funny, but this wasn't his best work, I saw him last year at Cobbs and earlier this year in Vegas. He seemed either really nervous or he just didn't care, to go only 57 minutes of material for a DVD, he made a lot of mistakes in his jokes and on at least 10 plus times he keep looking down on his script to know which joke to go to next. And what was really surprising his he used old material for example "Balla on a Budget" and several other older Tosh classics, which is fine but none of them will make the DVD, there is going to be a lot of editing done to cover the mistakes and botched jokes through out the night, to be fair this was the early show so maybe the later crowd will get the better Tosh then we did. And lastly when he finished the crowd and I mean everyone in the crowd didn't move even after Tosh came back out for a curtain call, because he went so short on his act, everyone was waiting for the joke to be on us and for him to continue and it wasn't until some lady finally thank everyone for coming that everyone got up to leave. All in all Tosh is still funny as hell and I am gonna see him in about a month in Reno, but this wasn't worth the 2 hour drive to see him.

  • Didn't stop laughing!

by Krice32 on 6/13/10Novellus Theater at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts - San FranciscoRating: 5 out of 5

I will start by saying, if you get offended easily, do NOT see Daniel Tosh. He doesn't hold back, which makes his show more hilarious than most. He has the balls to say what the rest of us think, but never say. I would love to see him again!

  • Tosh was amazing!

Love the show, but wasn't sure I would enjoy his standup. It was totally worth the price and I will definately go next time he is in town.

  • Tosh was fantastic!
