Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood on Tour
The beloved Daniel Tiger and his many sweet and silly friends from the Neighborhood of Make-Believe come to life in this mesmerizing interactive musical tour. Since premiering in 2012, the No. 1 PBS Kids TV series Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood has transferred the magic of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood into its own animated hit.
The show stars Daniel, the son of Mom Tiger and Dad Tiger, along with the children of other neighborhood families, including O the Owl, Katerina Kittycat, Miss Elaina, and Prince Wednesday, as well as Mister Rogers' famous red Trolley, who takes them all through the Neighborhood of Make-Believe. Just like Fred Rogers so humbly did with his own iconic children's series, Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood teaches the importance of respect, empathy, friendship, and communication, all with plenty of fun and humor sprinkled throughout.
Soon after the show became a success on the small screen, it was given a makeover for the stage with the touring production Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood LIVE! Daniel and his friends (plus a few "surprise guests") make their way around the colorful neighborhood — to his school and house, the bakery and Music Man Stan's Music Shop — singing, dancing, and spreading their kindness all around. The fun is nonstop and the lighting and set design make for a bright and vibrant show — it truly feels like the animated characters have hopped right out of your television screen.
In 2017, the production returned with a brand-new story, in which Daniel becomes King for a Day and learns what's most important in his rise to the top: kindness. Audiences are encouraged to sing along and interact with all their favorite characters as their hometown theater becomes transformed into the enchanted Neighborhood of Make-Believe. The whole show runs for one hour and 15 minutes with a 15-minute intermission. It's the perfect way to introduce young children to the music and magic of live theater, all while learning some valuable lessons.

My family and I absolutely loved the show and all the music!! My kids were up dancing and we were all singing along. It was so fun! Great performances by all the characters... We had a tigerific time!!
Family fun! My 3 yr old loved it. Was dancing in the aisle
I debated on whether to take my 3 year old to this Live performance, but I am so happy we did. She loved it and it was the perfect show for her. They did a great job of getting lots of songs in the performance. My daughter had a big smile on her face the entire performance. After she kept asking to watch it again and actually tried to refuse to leave. Even if the seats are quite a ways in the back, they were perfect.
My son (3 almost 4 years old) loved this event. He was mesmerized by the characters and loved the songs. They incorporated a lot from the TV shows, but also had some new things to keep him interested. There was an intermission about 40 minutes in which was nice. It went about 2 hours with the intermission which was a little long at the end. It was a great new adventure for him!
My kids really enjoyed it and that is what matters the most. From my perspective, it was entertaining and fun to watch too. Adults will like it as well.
I actually had to choke back tears a few times as I watched my son, who is on the Autusm spectrum, enjoy this show. The atmosphere was family friendly, the colors bright, the music familiar and fun, and his smile was from ear to ear! I was so nervous going into this event, worried how he would handle it all, so seeing him just take it all in, dance, sing along and love every minute just made it such a memorable experience!
Very cute show. My granddaughter loved it as did all the other kids I could see around us....a lot of bouncing up and down in seats to the music! One negative note: It was too loud. Even my granddaughter commented on it while plugging her ears.
This show was visually appealing, filled with lots of recognizable songs from the show, and great sets! The costumes were fantastic and the show was well put together.
We love Daniel Tiger on TV. To see are grandkids' faces when they saw him and his friends live and "in person" was amazing. The show was very well put together and shared the basic concepts that we all want our kids to learn. "Be Kind to Your Neighbor"
Great and lively show. It was the perfect length for little ones and was full of all our favorite songs from the show. I'd definitely go see it again and recommend it to any Daniel Tiger fans.
This show was great! I took my 5 yr old daughter and 2 of her friends from church and they really enjoyed their selves.
My 3 yr old Granddaughter loves loves Daniel Tiger. Our home is a musical play all day everything has a Daniel Tiger song. I've never seen such excitment. She squeeze her little eyes and grin from ear to ear and clapped like crazy. She was upset because she could not go on stage to actually talk with Daniel.Thank you Daniel for all the wonderful things you teach her each day. Thank you for everything you do,thank you.
My 3 year old granddaughter, Peyton and I watch Daniel Tiger every day. She was a bit perplexed at first that the characters have real faces, but quickly got over it. They sang all of the important songs that we sing at home any time the situation fits. The important thing that I didn't find anywhere online was how long the show lasts, which is very important for toddlers and their potty times. The first 'half' was about an hour, and after a 15 minute intermission there was another 15 or 20 minutes of the show, which was perfect judging by the kids getting a little antsy. By the second half my granddaughter was standing up and singing the songs, all of her shyness gone. If you're looking for an over the top circus extravaganza, this is not it. It fits in line with the Daniel Tiger show and was perfect for my 3 year old companion. It held her attention the entire time and Daniel was adorable. I do wish there had been more of a variety of tour items to choose from.
Super cute show! My 2 year old loved it. It kept him engaged and I even enjoyed the music!
Very good show! My 2.5 year old loved it…Would recommend it! loved the songs and dances
My son loved this show, but was slightly disappointed by some of the missing songs, specifically "The Potty Song." (Maybe it's too new?) Overall, he was in awe of the performance and has been asking to go back since the minute the curtain was raised. That's what's most important, so I gave this show 4 stars. We found room for improvement. Miss Elena and Prince Wednesday felt like over the top caricatures of their animated selves. That's not a reflection of the acting, but rather the writing. I also didn't really understand why Baker Aker was playing the sax? The tour merchandise featured a $25 tee, a $40 hoodie, a $10 paper poster and a $10 light. That's all?! No program full of color photos? No trolley?! Since this show is aimed at toddlers that quickly outgrow clothing, most parents opted for the light-up toy. Which meant neon lights were seen everywhere throughout the performance. Also, late guests should not have been seated until a suitable break. We could not see any of the opening number, which arguably set the tone for the entire show. Dozens of guests were still being ushered into their seats as the curtain was raised and they clogged the aisle and blocked our view. This sounds critical, but I would recommend the show to others and we will be granting my son's request to see it again in another city!
Very enjoyable for young children. The show highlights all of the most popular Daniel Tiger jingles and scenarios, and is an appropriate length for kids and adults. The audience was filled with happy kids singing along, and parents were smiling and laughing too. The set was big and bright, and the sound was clear and not too loud. The show ran about 40 minutes, had a 15 minute intermission, and then a 15 minute finale.
My daughter is 6 and loves Daniel Tiger...she chose this show over Disney on Ice....we all had a great time...only 1 down fall that I seen....the merchandise they sold at the show....my daughter is 6 and wears a 10/12.....biggest shirt or jacket sold was a 6X...try explaining to your kid why they don't sale her size....made a great day a sad day
This is my daughter's (2.5yo) first theater experience and she loved it! She had fun singing the songs and was mesmerized by the whole performance. I had a great time watching her enjoy it.
