D'Angelo Tickets

You've gotta own every one of D'Angelo's albums, especially Black Messiah, to see what an exceptional studio musician he is. Flawless percussion and vocals. But his live performance is another thing entirely. It's all about D'Angelo the master performer, the maestro, the energetic giver ... whose smiling face beams joy. He gives much to the audience and the audience responds in kind. His spirit spills forth. He's a singular talent in a musical desert.

I have waited forever to c D'Angelo & the wait was worth it!! He was great & I cannot wait to c him again! He sounds great & it was a very energized concert!

I was disappointed initially that the venue was not in RICHMOND VA but it didn't stop us from making the drive to the NorVa. And we were not disappointed. The band was so right, the energy was Lovlee! The staff at the NorVa was awesome. It was a great night. We are so proud to have such talent coming from a place we call home, and stoked that is man gets to share his amazing energy with the world! Go D'Angelo.

The show was unreal. It was worth the $80 and I say that because they absolutely jammed out on set and you get to see one of the all time greats just serenade you. He can absolutely sing just like he's in the studio. Best performance I've been to.

Unbelievably great show, incredible musicianship and artistry!!! I would go see the same show tomorrow, well worth the wait!!!

Must see! D'Angelo and his superb band put on an amazing show. Not only was the musicianship tight and the vocals harmony, but the band was having a blast! The fun D'Angelo and his crew were having was infectious and we quickly realized we were in for something special. Played a great mix of old and new, and at the end each member bowed out gracefully to huge applause. D'Angelo's got the torch and I'm following!

D'Angelo and The Vanguard were amazing! The sheer energy of D'Angelo and the band, his grateful connection with the audience and his wardrobe changes made this concert well worth the ticket price and my time. This is a must see show. D'angelo rocked for 2 plus hours! The venue literally had to shut down his mic because he kept giving more! I would definitely see him again. I only hope that he does not silence himself again because he has a gift. A gift that can not be denied and we as his fans are the lucky ones. After the concert, I found myself weepy with joy that D'angelo has successfully returned. His voice and sheer music genius was a sensory experience that you can not miss.

This was the best concert I have ever been to! D'angelo is the consummate entertainer, performer, musician!! His voice is amazing and his musical talent overall is out of this world! He commands the stage with such energy! I wish I could go all over again. And let me not forget about his uber talented band, The Vanguard...an experience in their own right. It's a magical combination...D'angelo and The Vanguard. I'd wait another 14 years to see him all over again. Worth the wait!!

D'Angelo was amazing! The brand was stunning! He is BACK!!!! He was so full of life and energy. His voice was amazeballs! It was definitely a show. Who does two hour sets anymore?! D'Angelo.

D has the gift to connect people through music. Loved the slightly rearranged old tunes. The last hour was some of the best I've seen capturing the crowd with hypnotic funk and groove.

D'Angelo still has it, ladies and gents. My husband and I saw him last night and It was one of the BEST concert experiences ever. Not only did he look amazing but he sounded even better. He did many of his old hits mixed in with his new stuff. The band was off the chain and the man himself put on a show. When I tell you I think everyone caught the holy ghost in there, I'm not kidding. He was non-stop energy for 2 hours. Just when you thought he was done with the show, he came back for an encore. Then when you thought that encore was done, he came BACK out to close with "Untitled" and send his band off. Please see him live if you have the opportunity because he was worth every single penny spent.

The new album is the bomb and he sang his old stuff, too. What a great night!

OMG!!!!! The entire show was so ELECTRIFYING!!!!!!

Of course the show was amazing. D'Angelo is such a dynamic musician and an even more dynamic performer. He's studied the greats: James Brown, Prince, Jimmy Hendricks, and it shows in his shows. EVERYONE was having a great time and swinging with the music. Along with the Roots, one of if not THE best shows I've ever seen.

I had high expectations of this show, which normally would result in a let down. Not D'angelo. This guy was absolutely incredible. His albums are very soulful and sexy, which of course, he delivered well. What I didn't realize is how much of a showman and Funk Master he was. He interacted well and playfully with the crowd as well as his fabulous band, The Vanguard. Each song was stretched into its own new, live, improv'd version. And he was channeling some James Brown all night long. I can't say enough good about this tour. If you like soul, funk, rnb, missing this show would be a huge mistake. Plus, it may be another 15 years before he tours again!

I have to see him again! The show was so good I feel like I am addicted! More than I could have ever wanted.
