CROWDER IN CONCERT:

When it comes to fun and worshipful concert experiences, few acts come close to the inspiring live shows of alternative Christian rock favorite Crowder. David Crowder has been treating audiences to his spiritual blend of indie, bluegrass, folk, and electronica for nearly two decades, and his ability to move audiences through music and prayer reflects his abundance of experience as a performer. Whether he's playing favorites from his days with the David Crowder Band or lifting spirits high with cuts from his chart-topping 2014 album Neon Steeple, Crowder always leaves audiences in awe on his unforgettable tours.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Texas-born David Crowder got his start as a musician with the church, undertaking music ministry duties while attending university in the '90s. Crowder formed a worship band and began performing in an effort to attract more college students to services, and before long the David Crowder Band had landed a deal with SixStep Records. Their 2002 debut album Can You Hear Us? peaked at No. 17 on the US Christian Albums chart, establishing them as a vibrant new force within the Christian rock community. Crowder went on to release five more albums with the band, topping the Christian charts three times and achieving crossover success with albums like 2012's Give Us Rest -- a No. 2 hit on the Billboard 200. After the group disbanded in 2012 Crowder ventured on as a solo act, topping the charts once again in 2014 with his solo debut Neon Steeple. A humble and inspiring performer, Crowder continues to move concertgoers on his critically acclaimed tours. Over the course of his career, Crowder has played venues such as the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, the Arizona Federal Theatre in Phoenix, and Madison Square Garden in NYC.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"David Crowder put on a great show! Not only is he a very talented musician who surrounds himself with very talented musicians, he is also hilarious!"

"What a great night of worship and sing along. Really felt like I was on a porch and Crowder and the band were hanging out. I love the authenticity and honesty that Dave brought to the concert."

"David Crowder ALWAYS (and I mean ALWAYS) puts on a great show. The music is amazing....his stories are random and hilarious....and the worship is just awesome!"

  • Crowder was Awesome!

    by MagicP3 on 9/4/15Taft Theatre - CincinnatiRating: 5 out of 5

Surprised my wife with tickets for our anniversary. She loved it! We loved it. The opening acts were geared to the younger generation. Personally not our generation. Lauren Diagle has a voice of an angel. Crowder and the band played great with the crowd and each other. What a fun way to worship our God!

  • All the bands are amazing!!

The concert was absolutely amazing. All of the bands were very down to earth and real. It made it even better with the personal stories they shared with their fans. We had a great time!!

The opening acts were great. Lauren Daigle and Crowder are such great inspirations.

  • I totally support the cause of Air1

    by Kristen7154 on 8/31/15Ohio Theatre - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

I listen to Air1 every day in my car or anywhere else. I truly believe they play great music for any person to enjoy! I'm 25 years old, so Christian music isn't just hymns for the older generations anymore, it's very upbeat and for anyone to listen to. The concert performance was very fun and exciting and they had multiple genres of music styles there (under a Christian label) so it was amazing to see the positive message of Jesus Christ reached out to so many people. Overall, it was an exciting, incredible night!

  • David Crowder made the show!!!!!

by Kcummings on 8/31/15Ohio Theatre - ColumbusRating: 5 out of 5

Amazing show! Some of the best performances I have seen in a while! You could feel the presence of God in that place and there's nothing more amazing than a group of people coming together to worship the Lord!! AMAZING!!

  • You won't leave disappointed!!!

All the artists were amazing:) I came to see Lauren Daigle and she is truly anointed by God. The food for the hungry was an added bonus. It was an overall powerful and moving event.

Went to see NF and Crowder mainly but was surprised that all the shows were top notch. Great experience and Crowder was simply the best. Been to a lot of concerts over the years and that guy is right there on top.

The venue was great. Not a bad seat in the house. Performance was great. It appealed to fans of pop, hip hop, folk, and contemporary music.

What a great concert! Great variety of music, excellent artists. I didn't want it to be over

  • Crowder was worth it!!

    by Rian84 on 6/18/15The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

I was hesitant to go but after tweeting it out in the Twitterverse, Crowder surprisingly responded that I should go. So, I bought my ticket and wow I was blown away. The atmosphere was great and the energy electric. I had only known the few Crowder songs from KLove Radio and became an instant fan. I would recommend this man to anyone.

  • Crowder

by ohbabyoh on 4/29/15The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

Wow - what a show! Maybe it was because it was the last night of the tour as the two opening acts and Crowder combined for an unforgettable night of worship and wonderful music! This was one of the few times I can say hearing songs from a hit album live actually sounded better than the recorded versions. Crowder and his band are quite talented and played with great passion and so many songs from his hit album, Neon Steeple were flat out amazing. If you know Crowder and his music, its a must see. If you don't know him, you will soon love his down home appeal and strong heart for the Lord and music.

This was the best concert I've ever been to! The music was great and the musicians were all very interactive with the audience. The venue was small and the only negative was that there were no seats! We had to stand for over 4 hours!

  • Best Front Porch Jam EVER!

by JoAbrams on 4/29/15The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

This was an awesome concert and worship experience. IT ROCKED!

  • Better Than Expected!

by jerajelihu on 4/28/15The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

When you go to a concert, you want the band to sound like they do on the album. David Crowder and his band sounded BETTER than the album. I enjoyed the music as well as the "front porch" backdrop and light show. The band was amazing and had great chemistry, but the girls (violinist & cellist) ROCKED!! All that said, ALL PRAISE AND GLORY GO TO THE FATHER! Glad I got to experience it.

  • Great Music

by WilamenaWhite on 4/28/15The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5

Contemporary Christian Rock musician Crowder puts on an exciting and uplifting show. I also enjoyed the two opening acts Dan Bremens (spelling?) and Tim Timmons. However, standing in the same place for over 3 hours on the concrete floor was torture and it messed up my back. I don/t know why the Electric Factory's second floor with seating was not open, but I will not be back to the Electric Factory soon if ever if I have to stand that long.

  • Crowder was awesome!

David Crowder gets better every time I see him! He is unforgettable!

  • Christian revival at the Electric Factory

by Irishman on 4/28/15The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 5 out of 5

David Crowder brought a lot of class to the grungy warehouse and a whole lot of Good Old time music. Such a range of styles from blue grass-country to arena rock ambient anthems to celebrate the Good News! Great range of ages too from parents dragging their kids to white haired folks too.

  • Crowder and company fantastic

by papapete on 4/28/15The Electric Factory - PhiladelphiaRating: 4 out of 5

We had a great time all 3 groups were great! Crowder stole the show but that was cool! Standing for that long was the only drawback!f
