CROWDER IN CONCERT:
When it comes to fun and worshipful concert experiences, few acts come close to the inspiring live shows of alternative Christian rock favorite Crowder. David Crowder has been treating audiences to his spiritual blend of indie, bluegrass, folk, and electronica for nearly two decades, and his ability to move audiences through music and prayer reflects his abundance of experience as a performer. Whether he's playing favorites from his days with the David Crowder Band or lifting spirits high with cuts from his chart-topping 2014 album Neon Steeple, Crowder always leaves audiences in awe on his unforgettable tours.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Texas-born David Crowder got his start as a musician with the church, undertaking music ministry duties while attending university in the '90s. Crowder formed a worship band and began performing in an effort to attract more college students to services, and before long the David Crowder Band had landed a deal with SixStep Records. Their 2002 debut album Can You Hear Us? peaked at No. 17 on the US Christian Albums chart, establishing them as a vibrant new force within the Christian rock community. Crowder went on to release five more albums with the band, topping the Christian charts three times and achieving crossover success with albums like 2012's Give Us Rest -- a No. 2 hit on the Billboard 200. After the group disbanded in 2012 Crowder ventured on as a solo act, topping the charts once again in 2014 with his solo debut Neon Steeple. A humble and inspiring performer, Crowder continues to move concertgoers on his critically acclaimed tours. Over the course of his career, Crowder has played venues such as the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, the Arizona Federal Theatre in Phoenix, and Madison Square Garden in NYC.

"David Crowder put on a great show! Not only is he a very talented musician who surrounds himself with very talented musicians, he is also hilarious!"
"What a great night of worship and sing along. Really felt like I was on a porch and Crowder and the band were hanging out. I love the authenticity and honesty that Dave brought to the concert."
"David Crowder ALWAYS (and I mean ALWAYS) puts on a great show. The music is amazing....his stories are random and hilarious....and the worship is just awesome!"
David Crowder is most likely the coolest man I've never met. What a great night. His personality is wonderful on stage.
I had seen the Hunter Smith Band before and they performed a great set. David Crowder led the crowd in an amazing time of worship and entertainment.
Nothing new but a great time singing well-known favorites. Greatly enjoyed Crowder's inane little stories told in his normal self-depracating style. Biggest drawback - the sound system. It was difficult for all of us to understand many of the words sung or spoken - both by Crowder and by the opening Hunter Smith band. That part was very disappointing!
Wonderful event, loved both Crowder and Hunter Smith. Hope they come back soon.
Wasn't sure what I was in for hearing Hunter Smith for the first time. Very impressed. Loved his life/family comments, his testimonials. Seemed first couple songs needed sound/accustics adjusted, a bit hard to understand vocals. Things improved, enjoyed the rest of Hunter's concert. Enjoyed it so much I bought his CD. Loved the fact that they hung around to sign autographs. What can you say about David Crowder? Awesome! Awesome! He (also) had some "laugh out loud" humorous comments. Very entertaining.
I have never heard the Hunter Smith Band and they were great! I would say they are a Christian Rock-Country band. I loved the way they told stories with their songs. Crowder.....what can I say except AMAZING! probably one of the top worship artists of our time!. I loved how he invited the audience into the experience of worship as he used the metaphor of us "sitting out on the front porch together". He is a gifted songwriter and I loved how he had a Chello, a Violin, and a Stand-Up Bass in the band. I appreciate his quirky sense of humor and above all an amazing concert and night of worship! I could have stayed all night!
This was a great show - loved seeing David Crowder "in the raw" and back to the roots he started from. A wonderful night of worship - and "singing together on the front porch".
