CROWDER IN CONCERT:
When it comes to fun and worshipful concert experiences, few acts come close to the inspiring live shows of alternative Christian rock favorite Crowder. David Crowder has been treating audiences to his spiritual blend of indie, bluegrass, folk, and electronica for nearly two decades, and his ability to move audiences through music and prayer reflects his abundance of experience as a performer. Whether he's playing favorites from his days with the David Crowder Band or lifting spirits high with cuts from his chart-topping 2014 album Neon Steeple, Crowder always leaves audiences in awe on his unforgettable tours.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Texas-born David Crowder got his start as a musician with the church, undertaking music ministry duties while attending university in the '90s. Crowder formed a worship band and began performing in an effort to attract more college students to services, and before long the David Crowder Band had landed a deal with SixStep Records. Their 2002 debut album Can You Hear Us? peaked at No. 17 on the US Christian Albums chart, establishing them as a vibrant new force within the Christian rock community. Crowder went on to release five more albums with the band, topping the Christian charts three times and achieving crossover success with albums like 2012's Give Us Rest -- a No. 2 hit on the Billboard 200. After the group disbanded in 2012 Crowder ventured on as a solo act, topping the charts once again in 2014 with his solo debut Neon Steeple. A humble and inspiring performer, Crowder continues to move concertgoers on his critically acclaimed tours. Over the course of his career, Crowder has played venues such as the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, the Arizona Federal Theatre in Phoenix, and Madison Square Garden in NYC.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"David Crowder put on a great show! Not only is he a very talented musician who surrounds himself with very talented musicians, he is also hilarious!"
"What a great night of worship and sing along. Really felt like I was on a porch and Crowder and the band were hanging out. I love the authenticity and honesty that Dave brought to the concert."
"David Crowder ALWAYS (and I mean ALWAYS) puts on a great show. The music is amazing....his stories are random and hilarious....and the worship is just awesome!"
Wow, that concert was amazing. Loved all the singers. Amazing time!
We were so richly blessed by the Grace and Glory Concert, and would encourage others to be blessed also by attending,..Praise and Worship, and the message was incredible!!
Absolutely Amazing! So glad we drove to see this concert! We went to see Kari Jobe and crew because she is always perfect! I’m now a Crowder fan! Very anointed concert. I needed it and loved it
Once Crowder finally got on stage, it was good but concert was disappointing. In the fact that most of the time was spent with a praise band. I think he saying three songs by himself. Definitely not what we were expecting to spend our money on.
My family really enjoyed the concert. Every bit of it was so anointed. I really enjoyed Passion Music, Kari Jobe and Cody Carnes, and Crowder. I felt like the music was a lot louder for Crowder, and I’ll probably use ear plugs next time, but I still really enjoyed it.
Crowder was great and the pre-show was just as good if not better!!!
The entire evening was an incredible blessing!! I was so grateful that the concert wasn't cancelled after he broken his leg. We appreciated his desire to share his music inspite of his limitations and discomfort. The Holy Spirit was moving!!
Concert was great. Venue was clean. Hope to see more christian artists in the future.
As always Crowder was fantastic. He has a wonderful spirit. Always enjoy worshipping with him and his band.
Great performance. The seating is great no matter where you are at the civic center. Hope he comes back
Crowder - always the best! Passion Music and Kari and Cody Carnes - amazing! Loved hearing message from Louie Giglio!
It was awesome to worship the Lord with thousands of people all worshipping together. I have been to several secular concerts in my past and it is so much better to go to a concert where the bands are pointing people to Jesus and not themselves. It’s clear Passion, Kari Jobe, Cody Carnes and Crowder are about letting the Holy Spirit take the lead! Also enjoyed Louie Giglio’s teaching in the middle of all of it!!
A great evening spent in worship of The Only King!
I’ve had open heart surgery, deaths in the family, and have not been able to see Crowder for a few years. This was the first time I was able to see him. His music is what drew me to Christian music. It’s like everything I went through finally came full circle, we even got an upgrade for free for floor seats. If that isn’t divine intervention, I don’t know what is.
I love Crowder and he never disappoints. However, I expected the main event to be longer than the lead up to it. I was surprised that Crowder was just up for about 45 minutes.
Voices, sound, and praises to the Lord were wonderful. Enjoyed the concert just wish Crowder had sung more of his songs. His part of the concert lasted less than an hour which was a little disappointing since I thought it was a Crowder concert. I wasn’t expecting a large lineup with less of the concert I thought I’d paid for.
The singers and Lou Giglio were great. But the thirty minutes hearing about World Mission for the upteenth time was too much and that’s why I gave it the lower rating. Aldo the Bass was too pound and drowned out the singers. As far as the venue, we were sitting on the floor and when they weren’t singing, the noise from the concession area was very loud.
This was our second time seeing Crowder! He puts on a great show even from a chair with a broken leg! We got to Meet him along with the Passion Worship team, Kari Jobe Carnes and Cody Carnes and got a great pic to remember the night. We did get let in about 45 min later then the time we were told to be there so that was a little disappointing and wonder if we could have got autographs if we started on time. The location was great, not a bad seat in the house, parking was easy, etc. Wish the t-shirts for all of them had more of a variety. I went with 5 others and none of us found anything that we would wear.
This was my first ever concert. I brought my kiddo because Crowder is her favorite. She knew every word to every song they sang. What really moved me was that I could not only feel the Spirit of God myself, but I could see the Spirit of God moving throughout the event center. I saw people praying with one another. I saw hands lifted in praise to our mighty King. It was an amazing experience, and all the event staff was very helpful in making sure I had everything I needed since I was on a knee scooter with a bad foot.
So perfect to get the chance to worship with my kids. Many tears shed. Incredible night!
