CROWDER IN CONCERT:
When it comes to fun and worshipful concert experiences, few acts come close to the inspiring live shows of alternative Christian rock favorite Crowder. David Crowder has been treating audiences to his spiritual blend of indie, bluegrass, folk, and electronica for nearly two decades, and his ability to move audiences through music and prayer reflects his abundance of experience as a performer. Whether he's playing favorites from his days with the David Crowder Band or lifting spirits high with cuts from his chart-topping 2014 album Neon Steeple, Crowder always leaves audiences in awe on his unforgettable tours.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Texas-born David Crowder got his start as a musician with the church, undertaking music ministry duties while attending university in the '90s. Crowder formed a worship band and began performing in an effort to attract more college students to services, and before long the David Crowder Band had landed a deal with SixStep Records. Their 2002 debut album Can You Hear Us? peaked at No. 17 on the US Christian Albums chart, establishing them as a vibrant new force within the Christian rock community. Crowder went on to release five more albums with the band, topping the Christian charts three times and achieving crossover success with albums like 2012's Give Us Rest -- a No. 2 hit on the Billboard 200. After the group disbanded in 2012 Crowder ventured on as a solo act, topping the charts once again in 2014 with his solo debut Neon Steeple. A humble and inspiring performer, Crowder continues to move concertgoers on his critically acclaimed tours. Over the course of his career, Crowder has played venues such as the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, the Arizona Federal Theatre in Phoenix, and Madison Square Garden in NYC.

Absolutely Freezing

Fantastic sermon introduction to the Gospel from Romans 3... And, of course, Crowder was fantastic, but it was very short (like only 7 or 8 songs plus two in conjunction with the warm-up band)... I would speculate that Crowder only played for about 40-45 minutes plus about 8 minutes together with the warm-up band... Really wanted to see and hear more of Crowder!!!

From Passion Music, to Cody Carnes and Kari Jobe Carnes, to Louie Giglio, to Crowder it was a great evening. I went to see a concert and a Church Service broke out! The night was a real blessing filled with praise and worship!

Too many…

Before the concert they were literally everywhere, sitting in our seats eating their dinner, walking around, chillin’. Like big groups of orange vests everywhere you look or go. That was my first impression and the most memorable thing about the concert. I get why they are there, but I wish that World Vision thing wasn’t such a big part of the show.

Even Gigliono’s presentation of the gospel was engaging and fantastic. David Crowder never disappoints! The venue was great too, rarely a wait for the restroom or food and not too crowded. Was perfect.

When I heard him and some others Christain Artists were coming to Charlotte, NC I got excited and bought my tickets early. Now at the concert, Crowder closed the night out, but before he came out to Praise GOD, Passion Music, and the others had me Worshipping and Praising like never before. I felt JESUS in that Arena. Then all the rest came out, just as Crowder was down to his last couple of songs and joined him, THAT WAS AWESOME. My favorite song from Crowder and he always saves it for last is GOOD GOD ALMIGHTY, bc GOD IS ALMIGHTY ALL THE TIME!!!!

We found it easy to navigate and had great seats. I was impressed with the companion seats. They were nice chairs. Then the Praise started and we were taken to the throne of God. They were engaging and fun and extremely talented. We couldn't stop talking about how much we enjoyed the concert on the way home. Thank you for such a great experience.

Passion Worship knocked it out of the park. And adding Kari and Cody made their excellence even more awesome. You can't help but think of Yhwh throughout the night. And of course Crowder. He is as professional and talented as you can get. I could listen to his music all night long. And with him there, I wasn't the ugliest man in the room. People in Atlanta are so blessed to have Louie Giglio as a pastor. That man is good. I liked the format of the night very much. I would attend again.... David Cloninger
