About
Craig's feature film credits include the box office hit Scream 2, co-starring opposite Patrick Stewart in Safe House and his featured role opposite Daryl Hannah as her love interest in 2007's Dark Honeymoon. Last year, Craig won Best Supporting Actor at the Elevate Film Festival. His own film The Lovemaster (with Farrah Fawcett), won "Best Film" honors at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival.
Additionally, Craig has had his own nationally syndicated radio show, which after only ten months on the air, won the prestigious Communicator Award "Crystal" prize. Two of Craig's stand-up comedy routines made it to the Top 10 list on XM Radio, with "Playing Army" ranking #1. His "Lovemaster" routine was voted Most Popular Comedy on XM Radio's Big Schtick Awards.

Do not miss!!!
by ElcaJon on 8/23/10Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5Outstanding time, he is truly the "Master". Thank you Craig, for not picking me to do the machine gun...
The Lovemaster went all night!
by jrinsd on 8/23/10Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5The show was really a tour de force from Craig. I had never seen him live before and therefore don't know if this show was unusual, but per the event description we were expecting about two hours total between Craig and his opening act (Jason Love, who was really funny in his own right). Instead, after Jason's twenty minute or so warm up set, Craig was on stage for about two hours and twenty minutes! The time really flew as he bounced from one topic to another, highlighted periodically (and perfectly) by lapsing into Chris Rock (in order to be able to say stuff Crackers can't) and heckling a 22 year old sitting up front for not being able to relate to cultural references from his childhood. From a value standpoint relative to other comedians I've paid to see, Craig just blew them away.
Shoemaker was hilarious!!!
by cvplaygoer on 8/23/10Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5From start to finish this has to be one of the best comdey shows you will ever see!! my cheeks hurt from laughing so much. from the lovemaster to the machine guns you will laugh your head off!! a definite must see!!
Great show!
by alikitty on 8/22/10Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5I've heard parts of Craig Shoemaker's act on Sirius Satelite Radio and had to see hime. He didn't disappoint me at all! I laghed so hard, I almost cried. He has great stories and a funny insight to life and gender roles. I'll definately see him agaiin. Only wished he would have done the bit on Mayberry being on drugs and Floyd the barber as dealer. My boyfriend would have enjoyed that insight as much as I did when I first heard it. Loved he show even without it.
LYAO!!!!!!
by TCMaddict on 8/22/10Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5I knew Craig's show was going to be funny. That is a understatement, it was HYSTERICAL!! He really is a talented comedian with great one liners, impersonations and gets the audience into the act. I don't think Craig has performed in San Diego before but I hope he will be sure to make it a permanent stop for his future tours. Anyone who enjoys great comedy will NOT be disappointed if you see his show. It was FANTASTIC!!!!! He also had Kevin Love open for him as a warm up act before Craig took the stage and he was pretty good. He started off slow but after a third of his act, he gained momentum and was really funny and make a great opener for Craig to start.
Second's
by xyztoo on 8/22/10Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 4 out of 5I was not dissappointed with the show. I would go again. The first time we saw Craig was the first time I laughed that hard and long. It was sad to see. I left looking like I had attended a funeral, I was laughing so hard I was crying. Great show.
the lovemaster is in hiz house!
by chris92129 on 8/22/10Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5Hilarious as usual. Sat front row, but forgot about when he goes into the crowd asking (forcing) the men to make the machine gun noise they made as a kid while playing war. Was praying he wouldn't pick me; fortunately he picked the other guy sitting at our table... Word of caution for anyone seeing a show at the Balboa Theatre: there is some serious AC being pumped out from under the stage. If you sit in the front row (at the tables), make sure you like it cold or bring a jacket. BRRR!!!
Best Comedy Show I've Seen
by MC619 on 8/22/10Balboa Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5When this show was announced, the only thing I knew about Craig Shoemaker was that he used to be on the Howard Stern show sometimes. Figured I'd roll the dice and buy a couple of tickets, since they were fairly cheap ($22.50 face value for the front row). I'm so glad I did. Not only is Craig absolutely hilarious - I literally had tears in my eyes - he also performed for more than two hours straight, with no break. This guy is worth every penny, and I absolutely recommend his show to anyone, especially those who have not seen him before.

This show was fantastic. It was funny from beginning to end. I never laughed so hard for so long. It was never dull. Great, great show. Making fun of the men up front with their machine gun impressions, the references of things for the 20yr old to look up because they were before her time, all so witty. There were so many funny, funny skits, thoroughly enjoyed the entire show. I took my parents to see this for my Father's birthday and we all had such a memorable time, one that we will never forget. Thank you Craig for a fantastic night out.
Would see again!
by Nalabud on 7/3/10Mohegan Sun Cabaret - UncasvilleRating: 4 out of 5This was our first time seeing Craig. When we received the tickets (as a gift), I made the decision to not look him up or watch any of his on-line videos. I wanted all of his material to be fresh when we saw him. My husband & I were not disappointed! As frequent visitors of comedy clubs, Craig put on an excellent show & had us laughing from beginning to end. I would most definitely recommend others to attend a showing. I, personally, enjoyed his "reliving the past" most of all. It's amazing how many young people today don't even know about the simple things from the "not so distant past"! Of course, The Love Master, well.....that speaks for itself! Good material!

Good show
by lynuskitty on 7/3/10Mohegan Sun Cabaret - UncasvilleRating: 3 out of 5I thought the show was great. Not a whole lot of new material, but still fun.
Great Venue!
by jrrog on 3/8/10Showcase Live - FoxboroRating: 4 out of 5First time I've been to this venue, only problem was that a couple of times during the performance there were extraneous noises coming from the PA that distracted the performers. Craig put on a great show, a time-machine mix of familiar material with the new. Barney Fife and the Lovemaster, his best character, were well represented, and to explore comedy where "Whitey" couldn't go he channeled Chris Rock quite well for more outrageous vignettes. Craig finished up with his great audience participation schtik, Playing Army which is guaranteed to give you stitches as male audience members relive their childhood days at play mimicing machine guns, most often with poor results, especially while convulsing in helpless laughter. Craig was very personable after the show with autographs for his materials being sold in the lobby and to meet and greet fans, and handing out contact information for his facebook pages, website, and other modes of connection. We traveled 150 miles round-trip from New Hampshire and it was well worth it.
There's no one funnier than Craig Shoemaker!
by djembaby on 3/5/10Showcase Live - FoxboroRating: 5 out of 5This was the most fun I've had on a night out in a long time! Start to finish, this is the most amazing comedy show. Craig takes the stage and immediately starts the side splitting (and I am still sore today). Whoa...Love Master! That, of course, is his most well known bit, but the entire lengthy show was a riot. This guy does not disappoint! We'll plan to catch him every time he's in town.
Hilarious
by Captain3541 on 3/5/10Showcase Live - FoxboroRating: 5 out of 5Craig is one of the giants in the comedy industry. His act is ever changing with fresh new material. I have seen him four times now live and this last show was absolutely his best.
What a show!!
by CommishRI on 3/5/10Showcase Live - FoxboroRating: 5 out of 5Introduced girlfriend, her sister and brother in law to the antics of Craig and they loved the show. Two hours of non stop laughing. Can't wait to see him again.
Outstanding Performance by Craig Shoemaker!
by TheDudman on 7/21/09Newport Yachting Center - NewportRating: 5 out of 5Craig was funnier than i've ever heard him. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. He had a lot of material i had never heard before, and of course his impressions were as amazing as ever.
Craig Shoemaker/Brett Butler
by Dragon35 on 7/21/09Newport Yachting Center - NewportRating: 5 out of 5Craig put on a hilarious show. Laughed my ass off, especially at his "Lovemaster" routine. Definitely will see his next show. Brett, not so much.
