About

Named Comedian of the Year by the American Comedy Awards on ABC, Craig Shoemaker's half-hour Comedy Central special has been voted by viewers as one of the network's "Top 20" stand-up specials of all time.

Craig's feature film credits include the box office hit Scream 2, co-starring opposite Patrick Stewart in Safe House and his featured role opposite Daryl Hannah as her love interest in 2007's Dark Honeymoon. Last year, Craig won Best Supporting Actor at the Elevate Film Festival. His own film The Lovemaster (with Farrah Fawcett), won "Best Film" honors at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival.

Additionally, Craig has had his own nationally syndicated radio show, which after only ten months on the air, won the prestigious Communicator Award "Crystal" prize. Two of Craig's stand-up comedy routines made it to the Top 10 list on XM Radio, with "Playing Army" ranking #1. His "Lovemaster" routine was voted Most Popular Comedy on XM Radio's Big Schtick Awards.

  • Laughed until I cried

by Anonymous on 4/29/14Triple Door - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

I have been looking for a comedy show that made me laugh until I cried. This is the sixth comedy show I've been to since November and it is the only one that gave me what I was looking for- that good cathartic soul cleansing laughter. Unfortunately it was announced by the emcee that Craig Shoemaker will stop performing stand-up at the end of this year so if you get the chance to see him I suggest you do!

  • Craig Shoemaker I laughed my socks off

by Crowburger on 6/18/13Saban Theatre - Beverly HillsRating: 4 out of 5

This is the only comedian I have seen where I wished he would stop about three quarters of the way through the show. I laughed so much my mouth hurt. Dad humor, sex humor, seventies drug humor and of course The Lovemaster, this show had everything.

  • The Awesome Craig Shoemaker

    by WGWESQ3 on 6/17/13Saban Theatre - Beverly HillsRating: 5 out of 5

Craig's show was the best comedy show I have ever seen. He went for a solid two hours after the warm up act. Every bit was tremendous!

  • Laughed So Hard My Face Hurt

by ShoeBiz on 6/17/13Saban Theatre - Beverly HillsRating: 5 out of 5

Two hours of non-stop laughter with Craig who spins tales with great old-school references of growing up in Philly to the present day craziness of parenting. All of our friends loved him too! Thanks for the laughs, 'Shoe'!

5 stars for Craig himself, if I could give 6 I would. 3 stars for the bathroom situation, need more stalls badly.

  • The Best!!

by CalGal57 on 5/6/13Southpoint Casino, Ice House, Flappers - Las Vegas, Pasadena, BurbankRating: 5 out of 5

Do yourself a favor and go see Craig. I haven't missed a chance to see him on stage since I discovered him at the Ice House in Pasadena in the early 90's. I've never seen a comedian who makes me laugh more. One guy at the table next to me last year actually fell out of his chair from laughing so hard. The Love Master is a staple and never gets old. His Mayberry character impersonations will have you peeing your pants (hopefully you're old enough to remember The Andy Griffith Show.) And what a nice guy! If you get a chance to talk to him after the show, do it. He loves his fans and always takes time to take a picture with you afterwards.

  • Craigshoemaker was AWESOME.

    by Susanm3 on 2/25/13The Canyon - Agoura HillsRating: 5 out of 5

Craig Shoemaker was incredible. He went on for 2 hours!!! He was continuously funny and engaging. The Canyon Club, on the other hand, not so good. They lost my dinner reservations even though i had made them on Dec 18th and confirmed about 4 weeks ago. We were given seats in the back. :( My Friends LOVED Craig and we will see him again when he performs locally.

  • Shoe was 2 hrs of non-stop can't breathe laughter!

2 hours! Are you kidding? I have never been to a comedy show where the performance went 2 hours. This guy loves to make people laugh. The group that I went with was in 100% agreement that there was not a moment during the performance that the gut did not hurt. The material is current, just the right touch of raunch, audience participation without too much humiliation and age appropriate. Just as he said that we would do at home after the show, I imitated him all night long! Highly recommend that you see this guy. Great Show!!!!

Hilarious! Unfortunately he did almost exact same show as last year, same venue.

  • Craig is a Master Comedian!

by keboston on 2/17/13Wilbur Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

We laughed all night, and days later, I find I'm still laughing! Craig's heart and goodness shine through the whole show, so whether he's laughing at everyday life, or the raw, riotous and sensual, it's all funny . . . just plain funny and ever so much fun. Thanks Craig!!

  • Great show as always!

by grnkyttn on 2/16/13Wilbur Theatre - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

Craig is still funny after all these years! I remember seeing him the first time almost 20 years ago and I laughed just as hard at this show as I did at that very first one. Everyone needs to experience the Lovemaster!

  • Great show!

Boyfriend and I went here for Valentine's Day. The show was spectacular. The jokes were clever, some were slapstick but overall it was absolutely hilarious. We share different senses of humor and both of us roared with laughter throughout the night. I really have developed respect for Craig's comic style. Highly recommended.

Criag was at the top of his game tonight. I haven't seen Craig in about 10 years. He was great then and only better today. My cheeks hurt leaving this show. Way to go Craig can't wait to see you again!!!!

  • Shoemaker Rocks the Triple Door With Laughter!

by nwlaurieb on 8/27/12Triple Door - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

I've seen Craig Shoemaker live before, and he exceeded that event, even. He had us laughing for two solid hours - that's quite a feat for any comedian. I'm not sure what happened, but he had no opener, and he even had to introduce himself. Yet, he was so comfortable with the whole thing, and it started out the evening for us in a humorous way. The Triple Door has excellent food, a nice wine list (and sommelier), and decent service. We truly had a blast!

  • Craig still gives an outstanding show!

    by Penny410 on 8/27/12Triple Door - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

We've gone to Craig's show every time he's been in Seattle. The Triple Door is a great venue for him. Craig kept going for two hours, keeping us all in stitches. I was concerned that I'd have heard a lot of his jokes and stories before, but he gave us almost all new material. He fed off the crowd and not only was he entertaining us, we were entertaining him! And, just like every time I've seen him, the audience gave him a standing ovation at the end. You won't find many shows that are as fun or as reasonably priced as Craig Shoemaker's-- our tickets were $20 each for excellent seats. Plus, the food at the Triple Door is outstanding. I hope Craig returns to this venue...and soon! Put on your calendar to see The Lovemaster the next time he's in town--you'll love his show!

  • Craig Shoemaker Triple Door Seattle

by Harmomy on 8/27/12Triple Door - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

Craig is the best comedy show of all time. I never leave disappointed no matter how many times I've seen him perform. I always tell first time goers to his show can wear diapers or depends. you literally laugh from the first moment of his show to the last moment. I love how he incorporates local events and culture into his act no matter where I have seen him. this is my seventh or 8 time of attending 1 of his shows. his routine ever gets old

  • Another very funny show

by KrisSea on 8/27/12Triple Door - SeattleRating: 5 out of 5

I have seen Craig Shoemaker numerious times in the last 20 or so years. Always a great time. My face hurt from laughing so much. Come back to Seattle soon.

  • Funny!

I saw Craig Shoemaker years ago in Hermosa and loved him. He was incredibly funny and held the audience's attention for over 2 hours. I had no idea he had gone so long until he mentioned it - what a fun evening!
