About

Named Comedian of the Year by the American Comedy Awards on ABC, Craig Shoemaker's half-hour Comedy Central special has been voted by viewers as one of the network's "Top 20" stand-up specials of all time.

Craig's feature film credits include the box office hit Scream 2, co-starring opposite Patrick Stewart in Safe House and his featured role opposite Daryl Hannah as her love interest in 2007's Dark Honeymoon. Last year, Craig won Best Supporting Actor at the Elevate Film Festival. His own film The Lovemaster (with Farrah Fawcett), won "Best Film" honors at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival.

Additionally, Craig has had his own nationally syndicated radio show, which after only ten months on the air, won the prestigious Communicator Award "Crystal" prize. Two of Craig's stand-up comedy routines made it to the Top 10 list on XM Radio, with "Playing Army" ranking #1. His "Lovemaster" routine was voted Most Popular Comedy on XM Radio's Big Schtick Awards.

    Craig Shoemaker rocks!

by Jadelo on 7/20/09Wilbur Theatre - Boston

This was like my 6th time seeing Craig and it's great every time! I brought a comedy virgin with me and she loved it too. He isn't coming around again for awhile but you can bet that the next time he does I will be first in line for tickets!

    Brett Butler needs to retire...soon

    by Anika139 on 7/19/09Wilbur Theatre - Boston

OK, so we went to the Wilbur theater and when we arrived we learned that they haven't secured a liquor license. A dry show, which was not disclosed at the time of purchase. I spent extra money for table seats figuring that I would be able to enjoy a few drinks with friends, not the case. The show started and the first comic was what I expected. He wasn't an A-list comic, but he knew it and was OK with it. He made me laught at times and that what was important. Brett took the stage and was an abosulte train wreck. I couldn't follow her routine at all. It was comparable to a drunken bable you would expect to hear at a family gathering. She droned on an on, at times changing topics in the midst of a rant and never coming back to the orginal rant....I was disappointed to say the least. Shoemaker took the stage and saved the night. He was great. I would gladly pay to see another one of his shows, as long as Brett isn't on the bill. I was told that the Wilbur will be getting a liquor license, so there is still hope !

This was a very funny show and the memories it sparks from childhood is delightful. From Barney Fife to wax lips and buttons, Craig covers it all. None stop laughter!

Craig Shoemaker had us in stitches

by Bababooie on 7/12/09The Canyon - Agoura Hills

We did not know what to expect, having never seen him live, and we had only been to the Canyon Club one other time. All 5 of us enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and we laughed until our cheeks and stomachs hurt. We all agreed would do this again and again! As a matter of fact looking at future shows online now.
