Cornell '23: Dead & Company Tickets

Probably the best D&C show I’ve see followed closely by Friday 2019 Wrigley Field show. 2nd set was killer but I wouldn’t throw first set out of bed, the triple solos were very nice. A great party at Lyn’s house and anytime you get sunshine and warmth this time of year in Ithaca, along with an estimated eyes, china rider, scarlet fire, help, slip, franklins, with an Althea, straw, dew, and a terrapin. It’s pretty much lights out and it was!

The Campus Was Electric, The Vibes Of 77 Were Definitely In The Air, And When The Lights Went Down It Was Magic! Everyone Brought Their A Game To Barton Hall! The Music Was Magic & The Memories Of That Show Will Remain With Me Till I Die. DHD 💀⚡️🌹

Tremendous show. Glad to experience 3 of the 4 Dead shows at Barton hall. 1980 n 1981 as well as tis past Monday. Having lived n attending college in Ithaca from 1978 to 1983. Also attended Biston Garden May 7 1977 show night before legendary May 8 1977 show. Incredible to see shows now w my kids as well as w my cousin his wife n kids in this Dead n Co present day at the old Barton barn. Ithaca magic sustained 46 years later. Inch your way through Dead dreams to another land... Memories and adventures

Show was amazing and there is a lot of History at Cornell. Dead & Company crushed it. Too much fun!!!

Next level #DeadCo ⚡️ ~I remember in highschool someone leaving a 5/8/77 Cornell Grateful Dead copied tape along with a note under my windshield wiper.⚡️💀🌹 I was already into the music, but to know this particular show was a must. 🫨 46 years later 5/8/23 Dead & Company brought the house down with a recreation show. 🤩 The whole night was on fire🔥. They stole my entire face🫠! Seriously mind blown. 🤯 Jeff killing on the keys🎹 I mean this man took me to new heights with his solos! 🫨 He is truly a national treasure. Jay is a force to be reckoned with.🥁 Drums slayed! 🔥 Oteil scatting during his solo😎! Mickey is an alien 👽 & vibrates on a different frequency that lifts people into other dimensions. Bobby is a walking masterpiece of a human🪬. & John simply owns it🎶, shredding every song. Ever changing. His solo highlight for me was during DEAL! 🫨🤯 He is dead to me. 💀⚡️🌹 I just dance & laugh & sing & smile. It’s my happy place for sure!💃🏻🎶 Church if ya know what I’m saying😋. It’s just now registering with me how amazing it was to be present for this show. #ForeverGrateful Always a blessing to see wonderful friends & to meet new ones along the way. Beautiful night with wonderful music at an iconic venue with great people.

Having gone to school in Ithaca 78 to 83 was able to be at 3 of the 4 times the Dead have played there. Also attended Boston show on May 7 1977. Incredible to be there once again in that great old Barton Barn. Phenomenal n still has the vibes of the May 1980 n 1981 shows. Being on old hippie country town Cornell has not lost it s Dead hosting passion. Great to be doing this now w my kids n my cousin his wifee n their kids. Inch your way through Dead dreams to another land.......

Lifetime of chasing so many songs and caught them all on the same night. Barton Hall did not disappoint

5/8/77 is one of my favorite shows and while 5/8/23 was a benefit concert, I did not understand the hype before the show. I was so pleasantly surprised by the great energy in the room and was moved by the history that was very apparent. The band rose to the occasion and incredible energy and power to the performance. Made me feel like it was a show from Jerry’s time and the boy’s performance was beautiful. The music was slow but seemed perfect as the boys have aged in 46 years. Just magic and inspiring to go out and makes me want see more Dead and Co shows.

Memory that will stay with me forever. 5/8/77 is one of my favorite shows so being the 46th anniversary and actually being at Barton Hall was surreal. Dream set list, sound and energy was amazing!
