Company (Touring) Tickets

Didn’t come away humming a catchy tune Cute sets and choreography

I’ll start by saying that I love Company. Parts of this production were great and parts weren’t. I didn’t think the lead was able to carry the show, either as a vocalist or as an actress. I read some reviews and they said mostly good things about her vocals, so maybe she wasn’t well on Wed night? Her voice wasn’t even as strong as any of the rest of the cast on Wed night so that was disappointing. It seemed like she “talked” a lot of her songs. Being Alive should blow you away. Her version did not. They also didn’t do a very good job developing the story of her singleness. It was not a female as lead issue, it was a production and direction issue. I thought the rest of the cast was very good to excellent and I appreciated a lot of the set design choices. But, overall, I thought this production wasn’t what I expect from Company.

The music and the acting for Company was really good. However, the material is very dated and much of it is not funny anymore. Sadly, this is the most boring musical I have ever seen. The people next to us left at intermission.

Company was funny, the actors were very good, the music was terrific, and the story line was timely.

This show was wonderful! The set and musicians were great and fit the show very well. The cast was superb, loved Emma Stratton as Jenny. A very unique and timely show and production. This is a must see show!

Excellent show. The salty snack packages are noisy and rude. So are people shaking ice cubes.

I’m glad I bought the tickets with a discount code, or I would have been pretty disappointed overall, especially since my main view was the back of someone’s head. There were some funny lines, one fantastic upbeat song, but overall I just didn’t quite “get it.”

We saw this production in Chicago 3 times during its short 2 weeks here. Absolutely LOVE this show!! Met many of the cast members at the stage door following the performances- all such wonderful people. DON’T miss this while in your town.
