Comedy Cellar (Las Vegas) Live

Opened in 2018 as a 300-seat venue at Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino, the Comedy Cellar offers the same intimacy and energy as the fabled club that inspired it. In creating the new outpost with Caesars Entertainment, Comedy Cellar owner Noam Dworman has replicated many of the original's most distinctive features as well as its special atmosphere.
Comedy fans can expect to see great sets by veterans of the Cellar's two New York clubs along with the best in new national and international talent. They may also be lucky enough to be there for spontaneous performances by comedy superstars playing elsewhere on the Strip.
Comedy Cellar (Las Vegas) Background
The Comedy Cellar's history began in 1982, when comic Bill Grundfest established a new club underneath a Greenwich Village restaurant. With a more intimate feel than many of New York's comedy hotspots, the Comedy Cellar soon became not just a space for the scene's best new talents to perform but a place where they wanted to hang out, too.
The roster of comedians who became regulars at the Cellar includes Dave Chappelle, Chris Rock, Jon Stewart and Aziz Ansari. It's where Jerry Seinfeld chose to shoot much of his 2002 documentary Comedian. It can also be seen in stage segments in Louis C.K.'s series Louie and Chris Rock's film Top Five.
In 2018, Noam Dworman — who inherited the Cellar from his father Manny — opened the club's first West Coast location in the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino. Closely replicating the original's look and atmosphere, it has become the place to see the country's funniest performers in the kind of warm, intimate room that comedians themselves love best.
Great time . All the comedians were very funny , my husband and myself laughed the entire time . Highly recommend the show and we will definitely come back next visit.

Was excited to finally attend a well known comedy club in Vegas. There are many to choose from and I chose wrong. I guess because it was Christmas week many of the headliners were home for the holidays. There were six comedians, none of whom I recognized. The best thing I can say is at least it’s not expensive to attend a show.
Ticket price was reasonable. Great atmosphere and setup. Just a little disappointed that one of the comics we were looking forward to didn’t show up and they don’t serve food? All of the other comics were very funny and we laughed all night long! Will definitely go back!
We thoroughly enjoyed all 5 comedians as well as the host Mark Cohen. They had quality acts who just kept us laughing. There wasn’t a single bad comedian in the group which is rare at comedy shows. There is not a bad seat in the house. This is a small theater so each seat is great.
4 comics were part of the line up…all were hilarious and different from each other. The venue itself is awesome, great set up…every seat has a good view. Must go check it out. We will be back!
We have been coming to the Comedy Celler for years. We always make sure it’s one of the shows we watch. Jlive it! The comedian’s never disappoint me. I laugh so hard and thoroughly e joy the interaction with the audience!!!!
There were 4 comics plus the host. Wish there were more. Other than that, I definitely got my stand-up comedy fix with this live experience. I watch a lot online, which is more polished. Being at a live show is not as polished but has a real engagement that you miss out online. I recommend everyone get a fix of the live experience regularly.
All 4 comedians were hilarious! Great venue, great service, great atmosphere! The host was funny too! I’ll definitely be back!!
I've all but given up on Big Concerts for Comedians. It becomes to produced, to vanilla, and you see 1/2 their good jokes online before they come onstage. Nothing beats LIVE, and comedians that you've sorta heard of (or what they've worked on) and just jumping into the experience. I will definitely be back!!!!
This show was by far the highlight of my trip to Vegas. Comedians were absolutely hilarious. I laughed so hard that I was crying through most of the show. If you're thinking about checking it out, definitely do so.
We go to the Cellar every time we go to Las Vegas. It never disappoints. Had a great time.
Four experienced comics delivering their tried and true, and some new material. There was much to enjoy. Just salty enough without gratuitous crudity.
All five comedians were very sexually crude and vulgar. I should probably expect that in Vegas, however, I felt that they used those jokes as their main focus to get through their routine. I would have liked to see more clean humor. If you are looking for a cleaner show while in Vegas. I do not recommend this as an option.
Really fun, great comedians. Felt similar to the NYC one but a little bigger like everything in Vegas. Had a surprise guest at the end Craig Robinson. Overall I recommend also one of the more affordable events in Vegas.
Have been here numerous times and this place never disappoints. Whether it’s someone we haven’t heard of before or we have, they have always been very funny! Good price for a great show. We always select VIP seating, but there really isn’t a bad seat in here since it is a small facility.
The lineup of comedians constantly change, but they are all stellar. One of the best values for the money in Vegas. I wish they were at a better venue than the Rio, but the show room was good.
It was a great night! All of the comedians were very funny and each one was different from the others. It really was something for everyone!
