"Referring to his most recent record, 'Little Songs,' Colter said, "These songs were written over the last three years. I penned most of them from home and I think the songs reflect that. "With the album Little Songs, Colter's music continues to carry on the traditional sounds of his prairie homelands, while connecting a contemporary world to the values, hardships, and celebrations of rural life. He sings, "You might not see a soul for days on them high and lonesome plains. You got to fill the big empty with little songs."

Awesome venue, amazing performance. Outside of Chris Ledoux, it’s the best live performance I’ve ever seen
Colter was excellent and worth the long wait to get into the venue, but buying artist merchandise took a ridiculous amount of time. In 35 years of concerts I don't recall a slower line...
The Fillmore is an amazing venue, Colter Wall's voice is liquid velvet. Its a bummer how the crowd is constantly coming and going and disrupts the show but I would highly recommend seeing Colter live, and would return to this venue.
10/10 from the concert to the venue. wouldn’t have changed a thing about the experience!
First Colter Wall sounded great. I was a little disappointment how short the show was and that Colter only came out for a one song encore. Especially, after I dropped over $300 on two tickets, I expected a little more than that. Second, The Filmore - Detroit is a great venue, but the process for entering is ridiculous. The doors opened at 7pm and there was a line outside until 8:30pm. The show was slated to start at 8pm. That's just stupid. Either open the doors earlier or speed up the process!
Colter Wall is the prodigy of Country and Western music. He reminds me of the time when Randy Travis came out and brought Country music back from Pop Country.
Well - my first time to Salt Shed. Super cool venue but sound quality was below expectations for sure. Seats were great, drink service great and atmosphere great - sounds just ok. Colter we good for sure. I was not happy like many people there he didn't sing Kate McCannon.
This show was awesome. I got the front row right up against the guard rails. The sound was great, and his opener was surprisingly good, even though I had never heard of him before purchasing the tickets. I would absolutely recommend this show to anyone who is a fan of more Western-style country music and not Nashville-style. Fantastic artist that shows what TRUE country is all about.
The concert facilities was great. Lot of history and character in that building. The signs for parking are very misleading though. All they say is event parking and its actually valet parking that is 52 dollars. You arent aware of that until you drive in the lot and are already stuck there. Our friends were able to drive around and find parking on the street for free.
Colter Walls voice live sounds exactly like his recorded music, better even! It’s mesmerizing to listen to him, he is an outstanding performer
Colter put on a great performance and it was our first time at The Salt Shed awesome venue.
Colters performance was outstanding. Him and his band (Scary Prairie Boys) put on one hell of a show. Stacy at the merch counter was super nice. The salt shed was a great atmosphere and I look forward to seeing him play again.
We originally had tickets for this show at Thalia Hall, which show got canceled. We were SO excited to rebook at the Salt Shed. Tickets were 3x more expensive and the show was only 75 minutes long!! So disappointing. I hope the artists saw most of the ticket price.
As always, the Palace was an incredible venue. Colter Wall is a family favorite, has been for years. He's come a long way since we first saw him at the Grey Eagle in Asheville, but always enjoy!
Incredible performance by Colter and watching at the Louisville Palace just made it the perfect night.
Took the family to the Fillmore in Detroit. Colter put on such a great show.
This concert was at the palace which is always an amazing venue. Easy and quick to get through security. Drinks were good. Yet, this was the worst concert I’ve ever been to. I definitely didn’t expect Colter Wall to be dancing around the stage, but there literally zero stage design and Colter barely spoke in between songs leaving long periods of just silence. The least he could do is say, “Hello Louisville,” but we didn’t even get that. I love his songs, but I didn’t pay $250 to hear exactly what I could’ve heard on Spotify for free. Definitely a waste of money and I certainly will never pay to see him again.
To say the least. It was an amazing show at Louisville palace theatre in kentucky. Colter Wall and Red Shahan both gave an astounding performance. Ive wanted to see Colter Live for a little while now and he did not disappoint. Artists i would very much enjoy going to see again.
colter = great. dude is outstanding. 713 music hall sucks, tho. sound problems all night long. amps crackling, popping...mics cutting out. pretty amatuer stuff in my opinion. got half a mind to ask for a refund but i'm sure that sheet won't go anywhere.
Great venue and artists but unreliable sound system that disrupted musicians and audience. I believe we all expected more for $190 tickets. At least half the ticket price should be refunded
