Awesome fast and easy it was the best time of my life

After attending GLI since '87 and never seeing an MTU banner hosited, it was quite refreshing to witness the domanance of the Huskies. Great tournament, boys. Let's go for a repeat in 2013.

very good to see some hockey,but to much time to play 2 games in one day..didn't stay foe the 2nd game need to have 4 game in 4 days otherwise it was a fun afternoon..

Great Value...Great Hockey!!! Will definitely go to the Michigan Michigan State game this year, as well as College Hockey in the D next year!!!

Greatly enjoyed the Great Lakes Invitational. My only complaint is that I wish there was a way to separate the fans. I think that it would be louder if all of the Michigan fans were in one quadrant, the Michigan Tech fans in another quadrant, the Michigan State fans in another and the invitee fans in the remaining quadrant. The first day was not bad, but the second day we were trapped in an area with a bunch of not so fun fans from a losing team.

Had a fabulous time....I miss watching hockey. 4 great schools battling it out, and the best team won!! Go Huskies!!

College hockey at its best, and a great way to spend the day downtown. The only thing I didn't like this year was the general admission for lower bowl. People with general admission for the lower bowl felt the entire lower bowl was a free for all instead odd sticking to their designated sections.

It was awesome to see history (the first shootout in the GLI). However, the talent level of the teams this year was subpar compared to past tournaments. Hopefully, next year will be outside as part of the Winter Classic!

Even though U of M came up short it was great hockey entertainment at the Joe. They were exhausted from their double overtime win the night before. The crowd was enthusiastic and a lot of Bronco fans came out for the event. It's always great to have the Pep Bands too. My only complaint was the poor condition of the spectator seats at the Joe. I was in the third row from the ice and seats were broken and Duct taped together. Come on-can't Ilitch afford to reupholster the seats? The ushers were very helpful too.

Hello, This was a fun event but I had an issue with how the tickets were sold. I logged on a chose my seats not knowing I'd be the only two fans for my team sitting in a huge group of the opponent's fans. It was not a good situation nor was it condusive to a fun evening. I wish the arena was divided up by school so I could have picked my seats accordingly. We moved to open seats after the first period.

The CCHA Tournament was a blast and my school won it all so that contributed a lot to how much I enjoyed myself there. Either way, it was a very fun day and it was really cool to see that many CCHA hockey teams and their fans in one place in a single day.

There is nothing like college athletics, the atmosphere is different than professional athletics. With the CCHA tournament you can get very close to the ice, and the level of play is excellent. Just wish there was a way to leave between games instead of having to wait around for almost two hours.

Took my boys (ages 9 & 6) to the game. We had a great time. Joe Lewis Arena was a great venue for family entertainment. Great experience.

We have been going to this tournament for 6 years now & every year so far has Ben a great time!!

Great enviornment to watch games. The teams played terrrific hockey and very competitive. Very exciting. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. Nice to see so many of the concessions open. Sometimes during a smaller event there is limited food and beverage.

As a life long Red Wings fan I am always excited to find an excuse to attend any hockey game at The Joe. But, the game was filled with evidence of why most college players will never see the NHL. The game played by all the fowards was of a junior high level of skill.It was entertaining , but, extremely sloppy. Also, the U of M equestrian team sat behind me screetching about whether Whitney Houston was dead. All said and done, it was an affordable hockey experience at Joe Louis Arena. I had a descent time but probably wont make the trip again for college games

I purchased the Little Caeser's College Hockey (4 Pack) Michigan v Michigan State. The tickets included 4 seats, a piece of pizza and a pop. Our seats couldn't have been any better; we actually sat across from Chris Chelios! The pizza and pop were delicious, and all for a great price! I'd highly recommend this event to anyone, and hope they have a similar one in the future so I can purchase again!!
