College Hockey In the D Tickets

General admission: get there early! (as in an hour before game starts) and make sure you sit in the ga area. Them stick to your guns! Had three sets of regulars kick us out of "their seats". That was ridiculous, but the game was good. Still got good seats, husband got to meet msu mascot... And make sure you bring around $20 for parking in cash. Lots of ramps in Detroit don't take cards. There is a parking lot right across from the VIP area for Joe Louis that is easy in/out

Had great seats right behind goals. Would definitely do it again. I don't eat the pizza but my husband did, it was bad. But very happy with seats.

Great event, low cost family event, good seats and a great game !!

Any time Michigan can beat Michigan State in front of 20,000 peope its a great thing.

Nonstop action and lots of fans for both teams made the event unforgettable.

This was an absolutely wonderful event. I was with my grandson, who is five and beginning skating, and his Dad whose school is MI State. Too bad they lost but it was a great great game. TGW

This was the first time I attended a college hockey game. I had a blast. The fans were so into it. I loved the bands being there.

You know, I have never enjoyed this event that much and don't think I will go again. I am a state fan and was surrounded by Michigan fans who booed and mocked and showed general poor sportsmanship. One poured beer on my head before the game started and all I was doing was sitting there waiting for the game to start. There should be sections identified before hand and I would chose to sit in the Sparty section where the fans aren't lunatics.

Enthusiasm of college crowds is the best in sports, especially beteween rivals like Michigan and msu. Took my 12 year old grandson who really got into the Michigan versus msu thing. Second level seats allowed us a better view of the whole ice surface and player movements. Pep bands fired up both schools fans yet no one got belligerent.

This was my first hockey game at the joe, and the atmosphere was Indescribable. The game was fantastic. No complaints at all. $4.50 soft drink is a bit much but nothing surprising.

Awesome! Family-Four pack is a great deal. $44 would have been good for just the tickets, but we got food too! We were a little concerned bringing a 9 and 13 year old to a college sporting event, but no worrries! Everyone was well-behaved, even with alcohol being served. Rivalry between schools was there, but friendly in nature. Having the pep bands there to play the fight songs was great. The kids' first live hockey game and they have fun. Will definitely return next year!

We had a wonderful time celebrating my son's birthday at the game. It was interesting to see so many friends and families like ours with divided loyalties.

Wow! What energy these players had. Never a dull moment. I had been to a Red Wings game the night before and it seemed like College Hockey was energized on Red Bull. It was fun being in a younger crowd of college students, too. People were very friendly.

Awesome game! Nice to see Chris Chelios in the stands watching his sons. But I have to say go blue!

The whole family agreed that, this was the most fun we have had in a long time. First of all we have never been to a University Of MIchigan Hockey game, and it really was Special! To make things more important it was Michigan and Michigan State against each other at Joe Loius Arena, so it was a big deal!! Our family can't get over how much Energy and Excitement there was!! Also, to be in a place with that many Michigan Fans at one time, was just AMAZING! When I told my kids that we'd try to get tickets to see the Red Wings, being that we love and follow the Red Wings, and they have been wanting to go to a game for a long time, I couldn't believe their response. They said, no, we want to go to another Michigan game, and maybe after we go to another Michigan Hockey game, we'll go to a Red Wings game. I was shocked. So, that just tells you, it was a GREAT night!!

Enjoyed the general seating ticket prices, being able to pick seats with a large group of friends arive early though.

I was able to take my family (kids age 6 & 11) to a wonderful night of Hockey. The crowd was family friendly, and it was great to see the kids having a wonderful time.
