We got exchange tickets to be seated in the handicapped area. Only to be seated in folding chairs in section 106 looking at the back of heads of people seated in the last row. Usher said that was all the seating available. Just had to move and find another seat on our own so that we could even see the games. Disappointed in how staff treated handicapped guests.
If you haven't attended a hockey game at Joe Louis Arena, it's highly recommended!
Unforgettable event. Hockey at the Joe is always great but i was surprised how much more fun it was at the collegiate level. As a fan of neither team, I was just there for the love of the sport and wow, this was more fun than a wings game!
We had the best time at the GLI Very exciting! Loved watching Michigan Tech Play! They really improved since last year.
Great experience. Very easy and convenient to pick up tickets.
Awesome games, awesome time. Extras we're worth the money - meet nd greet and walk on ice.
Great seats and almost every employee that we came into contact with was pleasant and helpful. The usher in Section 106 went above and beyond to be pleasant and helpful. My only concern was the cleanliness of the area. We were in row eight just above a hand rail with a lip at the bottom. Just below our seats at the lip was standing water and remnants of peant shells, popcorn kernels, and other items which were not distinguishable. A simple shop vac along the lip would have solved this issue. But overall, an enjoyable experience and we will be back for future Great Lakes Invitationals.
Great event. Had great seats next to the glass and saw 2 games. Also got a t-shirt and meet and greet with former Wing Chris Chelios for my ticket price. Great family event! Go Blue!
We had a great time! Watching the pepband from MTU was awesome and just plane fun being there!
