What an awesome experience! The LAST game as CCHA teams, Notre Dame beats u of m 3-1 and eliminates the wolverodents from post-season contention - LOVED IT! It's a GREAT day in Michigan when THAT school loses!!! GO IRISH!
What a great game! True underdog against the number one. They didn't disappoint at all. 11 tie into the 3rd period. Fantastic. Great seats great venue. Will do it again.

I'm not one that gets to sports events that often, and that goes double for my wife, but it was a lot of fun to be in an enthusiastic crowd and we both really had a good time. We've gone to some sporting events to get a break from just going to movies when we go out, and this was a great deal. We've been wanting to get to a Red Wings game, but with the shortened season there was only a few weekend games left and prices were out of our budget. This really fit what we were looking for.
Although the outcome of games was not what I wanted it was so great to be there to see the end of the Legacy of the CCHA. The renovations to the Joe are awesome! Had a great time!
My family all came together from Ann Arbor and New Baltimore to attend. We sat on the U of M side close to the U of M band and student section. It was a great family event. Everyone around us also appeared to have a good time also. All the workers at Joe Louis were very help full and pleasant. I cant wait until the next game.
We had great seats for the game. Love the sportsmanship and the team rivalry that always makes these games tons of fun!

The game itself and the 4 pack with the food was great. However, the seat map that came with the tickets indicated that lower level general admission tickets could sit anywhere in the lower bowl, when in fact this wasn't true. According to the seat map we received, we could sit in any lower bowl seat, but we found out that there were reserved seats already allocated to season ticket holders. Why didn't the seat map show this? We had to move twice before we ended up in the endzone area.
Our family of 4 had a great time on February 2 at the Michigan vs Michigan State Hockey Game! Our seats in section 108, row 10, were excellent!
Game was great. But when you imply open seating lower level, that is what I thought we were receiving. But we were only allowed to sit in the 2 end zones only.
Fun environment next to u of m student section. Went to greektown after.
A great game. And, a wonderful experience. My son had never been to Joe Louis Arena before this game. The arena itself was awesome. And, for myself, anytime you get to see MSU lose, it's a good day.
Awesome game even though MSU did not win. The seating was great ULGA. We had no problem seeing the game. The ushers were very nice and helpful. My son and his friends had a great time for his 12th birthday!
We were able to sit in an area of general admission that was just above the goal in the upper level.
Nothing beats hockey at Joe Louis Arena! College, NHL or otherwise, JLA hockey is fantastic!
Easy to get in and out, good game. Good price and included food and drink.
Great college hockey that was enjoyed even more due to the NHL lockout. I particularly enjoyed cheering for my alma mater, the University of Michgan. Also enjoed the college alumni bands.
The GLI is always a fun event to attend, and this year was no different. College hockey is a lot of fun, and this is one of the premier events every year; the atmosphere is electric and the intensity on the ice spreads throughout the entire arena. If you enjoy hockey, this is one event you shouldn't miss.
