    COCOROSIE WAS LIFE CHANGING!

by Haamid on 6/30/10The Regency Ballroom - San Francisco

I was in the front row for the whole show and it was something i will remember forever. Then energy flow was thriving throughout the show. Not one moment was left empty of emotion.

CocoRosie - song after song of beautiful music

by NotAnotherTree on 6/30/10The Regency Ballroom - San Francisco

CocoRosie performing at the Regency Ballroom was incredibly appropriate for how alluring and elegant these two sisters are. The whole crowd swayed in a trance like motion, with enchanted eyes as the two performed tracks from their latest album "Grey Oceans." It was one of the most beautiful & mesmerizing concerts I've ever been to. I would highly recommend seeing CocoRosie if you have the pleasure of doing so.

    Cocorosie great- crowd awful

by SashaZoe on 6/28/10Showbox at the Market - Seattle

Cocorosie was fantastic. I didn't know what to expect since this was my first time seeing them live, but I was definitely impressed. Their band is good, they have good stage presence, and they did quite a long set. They did a great mix of new and old songs, and mixed up old favorites so that they felt like brand spankin' new hits. The costumes were fun. My gripe was the audience. I have never in my life been to a show with ruder people. I was smashed, pushed, and "drunked at" by people who should have stayed in the bar. Still, Cocorosie was a treat to see live.

cocorosie was great but very late.

    by 4bettiebedsores on 6/27/10Wonder Ballroom - Portland

The show was suppose to start at 8. Opening act did not come on to stage untill 9:30. Cocorosie was amazing, they can't fail. Having to leave early around 11:30 midway through a concert due to lateness sucks. Who know's what was going on? They were wonderful.

CocoRosie was an unexpected fantastic experience

by CGio on 6/27/10Wonder Ballroom - Portland

I was recently introduced to CocoRosie, and only knew a few of their songs before heading to the concert. I was blown away by the energy and amazing talent of the sisters and their back up artists (the person I went with didn't know much of their music either)! Being that they are known for "freak folk," I wasn't sure what to anticipate, but I would say most anyone would have loved the music they performed and the great talent that went into it. Their beat-boxer, piano man and drummer were all very talented as well. I also wasn't sure how much of a beat their music would have, but found myself dancing and rocking (with the rest of the crowd) to almost all of their songs. I have to admit, I didn't really like the opening act too much, which made me nervous for how the show would go, but boy did they blow me out of the water! Great show!

    ULTIMATE SPIRITUAL NUT

by dguo on 6/26/10Showbox at the Market - Seattle

First time seeing cocorosie, and it didn't disappoint. I went in hoping for some spiritual moments and went out with a melted heart and new friends. Don't be afraid to dance, everyone! There were some gems dancing however most people just stood around as always. As still and unmoving as they were, the crowd was thirsty for cocorosie and was very supportive, feeding into the performance of cocorosie.

    completely unique

by Ferretgrrl on 6/16/10Royale Boston - Boston

Such a wonderful show, easily one of the best I have ever seen. I loved the way some of their songs were reworked and rearranged for the stage show, esp. Rainbowarriors. And the human beat box was amazing!

    CocoRosie will always be amazing!

by dheeraj on 6/15/10Trocadero - Philadelphia

Cocorosie is one of my top 5 favorite artists ever. The show was good, the sisters were lively, the venue was good. I was actually expecting to see more people there. The only criticism I would have of it was that they didn't play their best songs, some of their older ones. "I Promise", "By Your Side", and quite a few others. I mean....in the end.....all their songs are pretty good so I can't say I was disappointed. Maybe my expectations were way too high.

Amazing live sets. Even better live than recorded. Light Asylum and other warm up were good as well.

    CocoRosie..alright

    by Lola01 on 6/13/10Royale Boston - Boston

They preform unlike their recording. It was visually entertaining with a trippy backscreen and crazy boomboxing, but it was nothing like their recorded stuff.

COCOROSIE need to be seen live!

by Leung on 6/13/10Royale Boston - Boston

I hadn't listened to CocoRosie very much before going to the concert in Boston. In fact i wasn't even sure what I was getting into. I was surprisingly blown away! The songs live are a bit different compared to the albums, and in a good way. There was a beat-boxer a percussionist and a pianist in addition to the two sisters. This combination of instruments and vocals made for an orgasm of sound in your ears. Concerts are always difficult to describe so I will stop here. I will, however, say that you must see them live to really appreciate them. You won't be disappointed!

    Absolutely amazing!

by windmeeupp on 6/12/10Terminal 5 - New York

I was anticipating this show for weeks. CocoRosie did not disappoint! They sounded absolutely amazing and sang a great variety of songs. The arrangement of their songs were different from the recorded version, which I liked a lot. They sure know how to put on a good show. I cannot wait until they are in the area again!

    They are amazing in person!

by ealissam on 6/10/10Trocadero - Philadelphia

They are the nicest band I have ever met! The show was amazing, they sound so much better in person, honestly cd's does not do them justice. Minus some of the shitty audience members in Philly, they were great!
