Beautiful tones, lush sound, as usual! Thanks for a wonderful, beautiful, entertaining, family centered night.
Some songs were moving and beautifully done Certain notes were so loud they were painful and I actually had to cover my ears There were so many references to the prior shows this one felt "less than" vs new and better In the spirit of connecting with the audience, it didn't seem Clay gave thought to some of his comments. Rather, they were sometimes random, rambling, not cohesive or not the meassge that left me, as part of his audience, glad I was at this show vs a prior one Opening "act" made no sense to me
Clay is absolutely amazing and very talented. What a gift to have!
Loved it....and helped me get in the Holiday Spirit!!!!!
Terrific concert! I've seen Clay many times and he just gets better and better. Not only is he a wonderful singer but he's also great with his audience. And nobody does Christmas like him!
In addition to his great voice, he was extremely funny and very entertaining. He really connected with the audience with stories and banter. The orchestra was fantastic too. French horns were phenomenal. If you get the chance to see him live, do it. He is talented and gifted and I am thankful he shared his voice with us.
this is the sixth time i've seen clay, and he always amazes me with his stellar voice and sense of humor. as usual, he was so entertaining...i loved every second of the show!!
Clay Aiken is an amazing entertainer! His vocals are awe inspiring! He is really funny too, seems like a totally down to earth kind of guy!
I love Clay and his voice in person is better than anyone can imagine. He did not have his back up girls on this tour. It was a one man show with the orchestra and his piano player. Very intimate. He was his usual quick witted self with a few one on one moments with audience members. The two hours flew by with no intermission. I could not believe it was over when it was over. He did one quick encore with a walk down the right ailse to the exit. He offerred one lucky woman who flew from Japan the night before to see this concert free tickets to the next night's concert, and a 5 o'colck meet and greet to an audience member from Brazil for the next performance. I would have liked to have seen some video moments used behind the orchestra instead of the plain curtain.
Clay's show was wonderful. He is an exceptional talent but treats all in attendance as if they are his personal friends. What a great way to start the holidays. I would recommend this show to all who like to be totally entertained.
His voice was really good and powerful. The show was very entertaining. I got a handshake from Clay Aiken after the concert which was worth the price alone. Clay Aiken should get radio airplay because he deserves it and should be recognized for his musical talent.
Clay is the ultimate performer when it comes to singing and entertaining. He sang each song beautifully -- like no one had ever sung it before. The entire concert was magic to the ears. When he put the entertainer "hat" on, Clay informed and entertained us with observations and comments about current events and the music industry among other topics. He can make you laugh so much that you almost fall out of your seat. At the end of each concert, he lets everyone know that he really appreciates their support.
I took my mother to see the show. It was fantastic! I thought Aiken was just a generic pop singer. I was wrong-he is a master with the great American Song book. His voice is exceptional. One of the best performers I have seen in a while. I was irritated by the women videotaping and snapping photos. I sprung for seats near the front. The lady in the row directly in front of me never looked op from her camera. She kept moving it into our sight line. It was distracting.
Intimate yet casual concert. Clay was very relaxed on stage. I saw him in his other concerts and wondered if he would be able to perform with the same passion. I was very pleased that he was even better than I remember. He entertained the audience with old songs with a new twist and he threw in conversations with the audience (which is nice that he paid attention to the fans). He was funny and sang just like I remember. The arena was not sold out with the crowd at approx 3/4 full. I think this contributed to the intimate atmosphere. He also seemed like he didn't miss the Claymates throwing themselves at him. I did see some but they acted more reserved and left the posters and extra underwear at home! I hope he makes a comeback. I miss his voice on the radio!
Saw Clay at the Warfield Theater on March 12th. The concert was amazing. If you ever get a chance to see him in person, you won't be disappointed. This was my 3rd time seeing him in person, and, he never disappoints. He just doesn't tour on the west coast enough. I saw him in Sacremento, L.A. and, now S.F.
The show was great! Clay has a wonderful voice, and a fun sense of humor, and he really made it an enjoyable experience for everyone. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys listening to Clay Aiken.
Clay concert was one of the best concert which I attended. His voice was so amazing and so pure. His banter was so entertaning.
I attended this concert not really knowing what to expect. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with this concert. Clay Aiken not only sounded very good, but he entertained the audience. The full show was filled with many laughs and an all around good time. I was somewhat disappointed with my seats, but that was a very small thing. The way my seats looked on the chart gave me the impression I was sitting five rows away from the stage. I'm really sorry this tour is over. I would highly recommend any of Clay Aiken's shows to anybody looking for a good time.
Clay was great. It was fantastic to hear him sing.
It was Clay so he sounded good. A little surprised we were among the youngest there. I thought I would be one of the oldest. Matter of fact, the couple next to us stated they were surprised we were there and asked us "Aren't you a little young for Clay Aiken?" (My daughter is 17 and I am in my early 50's. They were in their early 80's)He does not want to do his greatest hits anymore, but he did a medley of them. He is an old soul and loves the classic oldies. We drove 5 hours to see him, hotel, food expense, etc. so cost wise I would have to say it wasn't worth it.I think my daughter liked it, but was a little disappointed. His female singer he has singing with him was pretty good.
