Really enjoyed the show. Brings back lots of memories. Bob Steiger never seems to age! Sax player, guitar player and drummer outstanding. The venue The Rialto Is unbelievably gorgeous. If you have never been there, this is a must see on your bucket list. Then you have the volunteers. They go above and beyond to assist the patrons !

  • 70's music fun

by Tragger on 10/6/25Rialto Square Theatre - JolietRating: 3 out of 5

The band was good well rehearse and musically sound. The sound mixing was not the best with the drums overwhelmingly many instruments and guitar lower volume annoying. The lead singer was good as was the backups. All and all a fun night of 70's memories.

  • We thought we were seeing Bob Segar. We are from Australia.

I don’t feel you should use Bob Segar name. It needed to be made clear it was a tribute band. It was not advertised as that

We totally enjoyed Classic Seger. We had good sound quality in section 140 and could see fairly well too. Staff were very helpful to get us to our handicap seating.

  • A Worthwhile Classic

by Vince on 1/18/25Duke Energy Center for the Arts - Mahaffey Theater - St PetersburgRating: 4 out of 5

Honestly the show started slow.. and by that I mean the lead singers voice started slow, very slow.. it wasn't good and the disappointment in the room was palpable. About 5 or 6 songs in (particularly during Mainstreet) things began to change for the better. From that point on, and specifically in the second set, things were much better and actually hit several crescendos along the way. Very glad I went despite the lackluster start 👍

  • Far better than expected

Full disclosure, I'm old. My first concert was seeing Bad Company play Madison Square Garden on their Desolation Angels tour in 1979. Since then, I've been to more concerts than I can count mostly at venues along the East Coast. That said, I've never attended a show featuring a tribute-style band. No reason really, just didn't seem of interest to me. I bought tickets for this show rather impulsively since the music of Bob Seger was everywhere back in the day and I thought it was time to give this type of show a chance. I was not expecting much going in. A nine-member band delivered a 2+ hour show (with brief intermission) that was absolutely fantastic in every way possible. The singer sounded and even looked enough like Seger without mimicking him completely. Great voice without any comparisons being made. He engaged the audience and genuinely appeared fully invested in each song delivered. The saxophone player, as well as the guitarist were outstanding, and that dude on piano set such a great vibe throughout the set. The whole show far, far exceeded my expectations but standout performances came during Night Moves, Turn the Page, Ramblin’ Gamblin Man and Like a Rock. My personal favorite was their rendition of Roll Me Away. I almost forgot how much I love that song and this band delivered a version that gave chills to this old guy. Given the chance I would highly recommend anyone check this band out. They delivered a fun and memorable experience for me.
