Cincinnati Bengals Team History

The Cincinnati Bengals were founded by legendary head coach and Pro Football Hall of Famer Paul Brown, and played their first season in 1968. The Bengals got their name from Brown's coaching past, as tiger mascots had been a common thread throughout his career. The Bengals have won 11 AFC North Championship titles and three AFC Championship titles. They won their first division title as part of the AFC Central in 1970, becoming the first expansion team to win a championship in its first three years.

The Bengals first advanced to the Super Bowl during the 1981 and 1988 seasons, and then again in 2022 for Super Bowl LVI. Since 2005, the team has advanced to the playoffs nine times, including two AFC North Division titles.

The stadium also features open corners, which gives outsiders a view into the stadium and fans a view of the downtown skyline and bridges crossing the Ohio River. by Bigby on 1/11/23Paycor Stadium - Cincinnati

Purchased the tickets for a Christmas present for my Dad. Even though we were in the top section the seats were great. The Park looked great! Atmosphere A+. Excitement-every bit you’d ever want. Overall what a great day. The Bengals have continued to no just get but earn the respect they deserve from our city. Thank you for the great time. Thanks Ticketmaster for always being easy to use so I can just relax and enjoy the good times!

    Awesome!

    by D. L. on 1/11/23Paycor Stadium - Cincinnati

Purchasing my tickets from Ticketmaster for the Bengal games has been very easy and care free. Even when the Bengals had to cancel their football game, Ticketmaster was on the spot ready and refunded my money in a matter of days. The fact that I get my tickets sent to my phone is nice, never have to worry about not having my tickets (unless I forget my phone!). Tickets are sent instantly after paying.

    Great to experience....once.

by Roadblock on 12/14/22Paycor Stadium - Cincinnati

Pre-game atmosphere outside of the stadium was fun time spent with friends. The balcony seats were way up top and frankly for the money- I’d probably go to pre-game in town then stay outside of the stadium at one of the restaurants or bars. Long walk to parking. Not all good items were available in concessions without waiting. Great experience, but watching the game is much better on TV than live.

    At the Jungle

by PoppaVille on 10/26/22Paycor Stadium - Cincinnati

The game experience was ok. Bengals blew the Falcons out. Did not like the obstructed view seats. I know next time NOT to purchase them. Also, the ushers should be better informed with helping fans find their sests.

The game was phenomenal but the stadium navigation is ridicu

by MommaK on 10/26/22Paycor Stadium - Cincinnati

We entered at the gate per our tickets and the online map closest to our seats. My mom and I have bad back so trying to get to an escalator was ridiculous. We ended up having to walk the ramps which was hard and painful. The fact that there are only 2 in the stadium is mind boggling and to get on the Bengals side, if you get on the wrong one you’re screwed cause you can’t walk from the visitors side around when you’re headed for the nosebleed section. We didn’t know we needed another pass to take the elevator. I paid extra for a parking pass which helped with some of the walking but navigating inside the stadium needs some help. We come to a game once a year when my family visits from Las Vegas because we’re diehard fans but I don’t know how many more times me or my mom can do that walk. The game itself was fantastic! WHODEY!

by show me the money… paycor pay more on 9/14/22Paycor Stadium - Cincinnati

So after waiting a long time for a winning team… how does the bangles thank there loyal fans????? … the bangles double all tix prices to all games and double the parking rates . Plus the bangles took away the closet handicap parking garage and give to VIP and season ticket holder’s and moved the handicap parking over a mile away with no help or shuttle service. How can a family go now see a game at these prices?? Paycor pay more no thank you.

Game was great. Getting into stadium was the difficult part

by Joe R on 8/16/22Paycor Stadium - Cincinnati

Everything leading up to the event was great. Once we got off of the exit ramp, was when things became frustrating. We arrived one hour prior to game start. Traffic was very heavy with no signage. We spent two hours travelling about 3/4 mile to the paid parking. We had to listen to the first quarter on the radio in our vehicle. By the time we got into the stadium the second quarter was almost over. We travelled from Chicago to attend game and missed almost half of it. Very disappointing for my son as this was his birthday present. The traffic police were of little help (in my opinion) as they did not appear to be really directing traffic but rather making sure the pedestrian way was clear during the light signal change (that is important, however moving traffic could have been much better, in my opinion).

We are both football fans majorly. Thank you soooooo much. I will have to say that we shared a $12.50 Bud light for the first time but it was worth it

The day was great! Bengals fans are the best.

by All in Bengals on 8/5/22Paul Brown Stadium - Cincinnati

So glad Paul Brown Stadium was the setting for this event, and it was free. Way to give back Bengals. From the time we entered the stadium from the time we left it was a dream come true. So much camaraderie and laughter and fun. Everyone was so ready to see our Bengals and share the stadium with them. Thank you for including everyday people in a fun filled event.
