Cincinnati Bengals Team History

The Cincinnati Bengals were founded by legendary head coach and Pro Football Hall of Famer Paul Brown, and played their first season in 1968. The Bengals got their name from Brown's coaching past, as tiger mascots had been a common thread throughout his career. The Bengals have won 11 AFC North Championship titles and three AFC Championship titles. They won their first division title as part of the AFC Central in 1970, becoming the first expansion team to win a championship in its first three years.

The Bengals first advanced to the Super Bowl during the 1981 and 1988 seasons, and then again in 2022 for Super Bowl LVI. Since 2005, the team has advanced to the playoffs nine times, including two AFC North Division titles.

    Bengal training camp

    by rcburti on 8/1/23

Great experience. Plenty of room in the practice fields for the amount of fans that show up, organized and entertaining. As expected chaotic at the end of practice when players come over to sign autographs - but most players took their time to make sure everyone that wanted a signature got one. Back together weekend practice was very enjoyable and a chance to see inside the stadium for us from out of town. Not a venue to expect autographs - one in a while a player will come up to the stands to sign things and the chaos begins. Surprised that no fans have ever fallen over the wall trying to get a signature. Practice fields not the stadium is where you can expect to get autographs. Thoroughly enjoyed it with my younger son - will be back next year!

    Pink Concert

    by sf on 8/1/23

Concert was awesome. The seats would have been much better had the Reds-Great American Ballpark taken down the net. That was extremely disappointing. All pictures have the net in them. Will never buy lower level seats again unless there is a clear view.

    Wouldn’t go again….

    by DisappointedBengalsFan on 8/1/23

Very poor set-up, very disappointing. The lines were so long to do any kids activities. They announced after already there that autographs were cancelled which is one of the major reasons we went. It was ninety some degrees and very little shade options and bottled water was like $7. Very disappointed in this event.

Really Hot but still had fun

    by Monti on 8/1/23

I thought the Bengals did a great job. Very nice. Turn out was great for a little kids figuring it was the first year. It will get better and better they should bring some local restaurants in that offer food.

    Poor signage

    by MJM on 8/1/23

It would be easier to find your seat if there were overhead signs showing the section number. Concession prices are ridiculous.

Great Way to Bring the Community Togther!

    by shiestyseason12 on 8/1/23

The event was really fun and had things to do for all ages. The balloon and light up 'who dey' sign was a great photo opportunity spot, as well as the media set ruins. Their was a great sense of community at the event, especially at the end when we all came together. (Back Together Weekend Practice)

    First professional football game

by Pooh’s Nanna on 1/12/23Paycor Stadium - Cincinnati

This was my grandson’s Christmas gift. I don’t have a clue what I was watching as I didn’t grow up with football. But, watching my grandson enjoy the game was well worth it.
