Chris Tomlin Concert Schedule

Chris Tomlin is a singer and songwriter in the Christian music industry, best known for huge hits like "How Great Is Our God" and "Indescribable." His live performances are treated like one big worship time, and fans can expect clear vocals, a strong faith-based message, and a full band accompaniment. Tomlin's tours include the 2018 Worship Night in America Tour, the 2017 Chris Tomlin Christmas Tour, the 2007 How Great Is Our God Tour, the 2010 Hello Tomlin Tour, the All Things New Tour and various tours with Passion Conferences. Some of his biggest accomplishments have been winning a Grammy for the Best Contemporary Christian Music Album for And If Our God Is For Us... in 2012 and dozens of nominations and wins at the GMA Dove Awards. Tomlin also won Top Christian Artist and Top Christian Song at the Billboard Music Awards in 2011.

Chris Tomlin Background

Chris Tomlin was born the town of Grand Saline, Texas, on May 4, 1972. He was the oldest of three boys, and his father was the first person to introduce him to music when he gave him his first guitar. Tomlin started writing his own worship music at the young age of 14. He went to college at Texas A&M University to study physical therapy but continued to work as a worship leader at area youth conferences. In 1997, pastor and motivation speaker Louie Giglio asked Tomlin to work with Passion Conferences -- a Christian organization targeted at young adults -- and that's where his Christian music career really began. His first solo album was released in 2001, and he has had several songs hit the top of the Christian Copyright Licensing International charts. He keeps a fairly private family life, but fans can connect with him on Twitter @ christomlin

Christ Tomlin leads a super worship experience!

by chickshu on 6/21/10Verizon Arena (formerly Alltel Arena) - North Little Rock

I really appreciated the worship experience led by Chris Tomlin. His lyrics and music are wonderful and he knows how to move an audience to connect with God. I really do not get the Toby Mac hip hop stuff... just not my taste. So my group left after the Chris Tomlin part and after the first three Toby Mac songs that just were too loud and had no understandable lyrics. It could have been a secular rock concert as far as that part was concerned. I'm sure he is sincere but the message just did not get through the volume. Anyway... thanks Chris for a great performance!

I thoroughly enjoyed the concert. My husband and I went for our 8th anniversary! We both loved it. Chris had an awesome first half with a lot of praise and worship. Toby Mac came out on the 2nd half and rocked the house. From dances to stunts and awesome music, Toby Mac exceeded all my expectations. I hope the 2 of them do another tour together!

by LVNCLA on 6/21/10Verizon Arena (formerly Alltel Arena) - North Little Rock

Toby Mac was good but a little too loud for me. Chris Tomlin was worship music at its best. Toby Mac has some great lyrics but the music was so loud some of they couldn't be understood.

Absolutely Amazing for the Whole Family!

by Family1234 on 6/21/10Scottrade Center - St Louis

Our family greatly enjoyed the christian concert. It was awesome to be praising the Lord and having a great time all at the same time. We have attended several concerts of different types of music, and this rates up there with one of the best concerts we have attended. Chris Tomlin started the night off worshiping and praising the Lord while the audience was invited to participate. Toby Mac cranked it up and everyone was on their feet. He has lots of energy and does a great job involving the audience and getting out in the audience with the people. The concert was amazing, and worth the money. God filled the Scott Trade Center with his presence. Thanks St. Louis for hosting this event. This is a great memory for our family.

Tomlin & Toby Mac have two completely different styles, but it still seems to work to have them both playing at the same venue. An incredible night of praise, worship, and good time. Just wish there was more time for each to play, especially Tomlin, as they have so much more good stuff from their archives that was tabled. Apparently they had to be wrapped up by 10:00. City curfew? I don't know...

This worship experience is one of the best in the world. I would see Chris Tomlin every night if I could. I never get tired of worshiping God with him. I had never seen TobyMac live and really enjoyed him and the band too.

    Something for all ages !!

by HeReigns on 6/21/10Scottrade Center - St Louis

Chris Tomlin was wonderful !! His music and passion was fantastic and perfect for those of us who prefer a more "conventional?" form of worship music. But Toby Mac put on a show that was unbelievable !! And it was obvious that the majority of those in attendance were there for Toby. All in all it was an event that I would recommend to anyone !!

    Tomlin and T Mac

by becauseofHim on 6/20/10Verizon Arena (formerly Alltel Arena) - North Little Rock

I have been to see Chris Tomlin four times in concert and this was the only 1 I did not thoroughly enjoy. Chris is always the closing act, but last night he was the opening act. His performance was awesome, but I do wish he had closed out the concert instead of Toby Mac. Each time I've been to a Chris Tomlin concert, I left revived and feeling like I'd been to a church service. Last night, because of the Toby Mac performance, I was a bit ashamed I'd attneded such a function that called itself a Christian event. I do not think the two were a good mix. Their music styles are at varied spectrums and my friend and I left there wondering why we even attended. We did not feel God received much glory or reverance the last half of the show. Thank you for reading this review.
