About

Chicago, at first dubbed The Chicago Transit Authority, immediately stood out due to their unique, horn-driven instrumentation and top-notch songwriting, a combination that quickly found a home on  free-form FM radio in the late '60s. After 45-plus years in business, Chicago's music has never left the airwaves and the band remains on tour more often than not, playing concerts in every corner of North America. With a catalog of hits  including "Saturday in the Park," "Beginnings," "If You Leave Me Now," "Baby What a Big Surprise," "You're the Inspiration," and "Hard Habit To Break," fans are always eager to snap up tickets to catch one of the most successful American rock bands in history. Four members of the group's current lineup -- vocalist/guitarist/keyboardist Robert Lamm and horn section members Lee Loughnane, James Pankow and Walter Parazaider -- date back to Chicago's formation in 1967. Even today, the band isn't just about nostalgia; Chicago continues to record new singles and albums regularly.

  • Very nice evening, but....

by Andre La Plume on 9/2/25Rating: 5 out of 5

Days before it looked like it would be a wet concert, but the skies cleared and all was well. It was our first visit to Outlaw Field, as we live in NY. Found a nice place to settle in and watch on aur neat sheet. However, many there obviously could not care less about the rules regarding chair heights. Why have a rule if you're not enfoircing it??? Also the food trucks left much to be desired. Nothing like the fantastic selection at Ann Morrison Park later in the week for the Hot Air Balloon fest. Sorry Robert Lamm couldn't be there (vertigo I think, which my wife has had and it's no fun) and we think one of the regular brass players wasn;t there either. Thank you to James Pankow, who kept it all together. True pro.

  • Absolutely Awesome!!

Absolutely awesome concert!! The premium seats are worth every penny. The prepaid parking put us right up front. Chicago did not disappoint!! Spectacular evening..

  • Disappointed

by Michael on 9/2/25Chateau Ste Michelle Winery - WoodinvilleRating: 3 out of 5

2 years ago Chicago played a concert that even had an intermission. This concert was only about an hour and 45 minutes. Previous concerts included Searching So Long, Wish You Were Here, Old Days, Questions 57 and 58. None of those songs were played.

  • They were the best EVER this year!

by Old Chicago fan on 9/2/25Chateau Ste Michelle Winery - WoodinvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Their voices and sound are as good as ever and it was another fab concert! I appreciated no warm up act, just all Chicago, and the played solid hours--no intermission--and we could go home earlier. The crowd was so into the music and it was a terrific show!! Bring them back next year too!!

  • Fantastic

by Jina on 9/2/25Chateau Ste Michelle Winery - WoodinvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Our first time at Chateau St. Michelle for a concert. They are very organized and have it down to a science. Chicago was amazing! Brought back so many great memories 💗😊

  • Concert too short

by DLW on 9/2/25Chateau Ste Michelle Winery - WoodinvilleRating: 3 out of 5

Chicago sounded good but only played for 1.5 hrs. No cover band so had to hurry and eat and drink wine. Not a good value for ticket price.

  • Fantastic!

by Pam on 9/1/25Chateau Ste Michelle Winery - WoodinvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Loved the concert. For an hour and a half I was transported back to my youth (which was more than 50 years ago).

  • Disappointed only one original

by A fan on 9/1/25Chateau Ste Michelle Winery - WoodinvilleRating: 3 out of 5

When you buy tickets for Chicago, you don't buy tickets for a cover band. Only one original Chicago member. The showmanship of James, Robert and Lee is part of the experience. The music was still good but I feel like I wasted money. I know they are older but don't tour then.

  • Way too short.

by Anonymous concert goer on 9/1/25Chateau Ste Michelle Winery - WoodinvilleRating: 4 out of 5

I have seen Chicago 8 or 9 times. With the exception of last year at the Climate Pledge Arena (sound mixing sucked), they always put on a great show. The show at Chateau St. Michelle last Friday was no exception, but way too short, lasting less that 1.5 hours. When I go to a show that starts at 7:00, I expect to be entertained until at least 9:00 or 9:30, not 8:30. I feel like the audience was a bit cheated and let down with the cost of tickets. So many good songs were left out. ☹️

  • Chicago concert 2025, we wanted more music.

by H&J on 9/1/25Chateau Ste Michelle Winery - WoodinvilleRating: 4 out of 5

Excited to see Chicago in concert, reminisce about our college years in the 70's. The venue grounds of Chateau Ste. Michelle are beautiful, with a variety of good wine to drink. Even with reserved seats we arrived at opening to enjoy the winery and ambiance of the concert crowd. We knew there was no opening group, but didn't realize that Chicago would only play for 1 1/2 hours. Disappointed in the sound quality with the first couple vocal songs, strong base that over powered the lyrics. Ended with the best music in the encore, leaving us wanting more.

  • Must see!

by Adventurer on 9/1/25Chateau Ste Michelle Winery - WoodinvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Chicago was fabulous and outdoor venue spectacular!!!

  • Fantastic show! Except

by Chicagofan on 9/1/25Chateau Ste Michelle Winery - WoodinvilleRating: 4 out of 5

I’ve listened to Chicago since I was 13 - love them! The band was great and the venue at St Michelle winery hard to beat. If I were to suggest an improvement it would be with the sound mixing. There were times that it sounded “muddy” and hard to pick out horns or guitar or melody.

  • Chicago!

by Yvonne on 9/1/25Chateau Ste Michelle Winery - WoodinvilleRating: 5 out of 5

We went to the Chicago concert at Château Saint Michelle. It was fabulous. Our seats were fabulous. The food was fabulous. The concert was fabulous. Fabulous fabulous fabulous!

  • Band was amazing… Venue not so much.

by Shell on 8/31/25Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden - BoiseRating: 2 out of 5

Chicago was amazing. However outlaw field left much to be desired. The food selections were dismal and the food we had was horrible. Their chair rules are outlandish and I am sorry you either need to enforce the. For everyone or leave people alone. No chairs over 30 inches tall… our chairs were literally 33 and there were chairs there taller than ours. While they apparently had an area to accommodate chairs over 30 inches, it was a joke as most people did not abide by it. We will not be going back to outlaw field.

  • Still a fantastic concert

by Excellent Concert! on 8/30/25Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

Chicago did a fantastic job and the music is still excellent like always!! Also, the Botanical Gardens setting outside is perfect. Thanks!

  • Music too load, could not hear words to songs

by Robin on 8/30/25Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden - BoiseRating: 3 out of 5

The grounds were nice. Good vendors. Music sound needs improvement as too load to hear words.

  • Chicago was great!

by Kimmer on 8/30/25Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

I loved it. The concert had a ton of energy lasted just the right amount of time and the outlaw field was a good venue. It would’ve been nice if they would have put gravel over the mud holes though. Chicago was great I had forgotten how many wonderful songs they had. I would go again.

  • Fabulous Night

by Lisa on 8/30/25Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden - BoiseRating: 5 out of 5

Chicago continues to give us exceptional music and entertainment. Outlaw field never disappoints us. They are well organized and friendly.
