Saw you in Detroit-the crowd sucked but you were awesome! We got our moneys worth then some. I only wish the crowd would have let the show go on!!!! I know I'll never go see a show in Detroit again, wish I would have held out for Chicago.

  • Horrible!

This show was a huge waste of 2 hours of my life! The show was unorganized and very confusing. The best entertainment of the night was 2 guys fighting one section over from us! I am a Charlie Sheen fan and was truely disappointed! I will continue to watch his stuff that is free on tv. But would never pay another penny to see him live again! Save your money!

  • #PLAN BETTER

by StonehengeESS on 4/5/11Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

I purchased the tickets with the "expect the worst/hope for the best" mindset, having enjoyed Charlie's acting on television and in movies for the past 20+years. I'm fairly easily entertained and thought this would be a night to remember. It was....as the worst show EVER. The opening comedian was not funny and was booed off the stage, Charlie himself had to come out and pacify the crowd, received a standing ovation, and the opener was again booed off the stage. When Charlie finally came out, the first 10-15 minutes of the show were fairly enjoyable, but went downhill from there. His 10 minute rant/manifesto went on far too long, the RPG video he showed was irrelevant and in fact, painful to watch. The Q & A's were never really asked and/or answered, the YouTube-type video has been done to death; I'll admit, the fake interview outtakes video was one of the better moments of the show. Still scratching my head at the inclusion of the unknown white dude TRYING to rap something about cocaine and gold chains. I'm not sure even the presence of Snoop Dog could have tuned this debacle around. I get the feeling that Charlie had no idea of how to handle a live audience of thousands, much less one with a drunken frat house mentality. Ah well, at least I can say I was there when Charlie Sheen got booed off the stage in Detroit.

  • charlie sheen is a joke

this was by far the worst "show" i have ever been to. He had nothing planned , no show, no talent...just a joke. he thinks he is leader of a cult and that he can do no wrong. if you want to waste your money and be throughly disappointed by all means go to the show in your area. i

  • Torpedo was torpeded

by adambdetroit on 4/5/11Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 5 out of 5

The show seemed to be what you wanted to see,a chance for Charlie to talk to his fans. But the certain sections of the crowd especially the people in the balcony, started booing and screaming from the beginning of the show and wouldn't stop and Fox management did not do a thing about it! A couple of the videos, one where he made fun of himself on the 20/20 interview and his version of an REO song were very funny and shows he really knows what he is doing. His RPG short I can't judge because the screamers would not let him show it all the way through. His opening rant was what I expected and I was hoping the crowd would let him do a couple more. And yeah I'd go again only this time I'd complain to the management early if the crowd started acting that way again.

  • Interesting and entertaining!

    by WindyGirl18 on 4/5/11The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 4 out of 5

Loved the format of the show and Charlie Sheen is hilarious. I think the interviewer could have been better. My least favorite were annoying (and drunk) people yelling things from all over the theatre at Charlie. They should have probably told the theatre workers to ask people to be quiet and then have a question/answer session at the end. Would have also liked to see the video footage he showed in Detroit or even some of the u-stream footage used somehow for a segway into the show. All in all, we enjoyed seeing the MA-SHEEN!

1st why are a lot of the previous reviews dated before the first show? 2nd the show and after party are worth roughly half the list ticket price or $20-$30 bucks, maybe. 2rd unless you're an epic Charlie Sheen freak, save your time and money.

  • Chalie Sheen Live

by korjie on 4/5/11The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 3 out of 5

I know Charlie is not a stand up comedian, but the show was still entertainning. He needs to get rid of that guy asking the questions. He has the personality of a stop sign. I'm sure being the 2nd show it will get better in time. Again, I like Charlie Sheen as an actor, he just needs to make the transition to stand up comedy. Keep it up Charlie, you'll do it, remember........."WINNING"

  • Like a weak Actor's Studio Segment

by CasuaIObserver on 4/5/11The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 2 out of 5

The show consisted of one guy on stage asking Charlie questions and setting him up for planned responses or stream of conscienceness responses. I'd say a third or fourty percent of it was laugh out loud funny. He never roamed the stage. He prettty much stayed seated the whole time of the show, about ninety minutes. We did the after party thing and all he did there was stay seated in a roped-off area of the club where beautiful people who paid big bucks (reportedly 4K to 10K ) to sit in that section with Charlie and get a some warlock light saber toy at the end of the night. He showed up around 12:30am and left about an hour later. He never got on stage at the club and addressed the little people. Overall the show is pretty amature. Evidently, they are winging it as they go along. I OK with what it cost cause I can afford it and I was curious but those on a tight budget might feel ripped-off paying list and definitely ripped paying list plus. I rate it Not A Buy. I had tickets before the Detroit meltdown. I bought my first ticket on stubhub for about $190 out of curiosity as to weather Charlie was a raving lunatic, live. Later on a lark when the show was supposedly sold out, I checked Ticketmaster and got 2nd row main floor right of center seats for about $80 bucks, all-in. Show night main floor seats were available for $40 bucks. I ate a lot of $$ on the stubhub tickets ( they were right of center about 11 rows back).

  • Awful

Worst event I have ever seen. An insult to Detroit. Sheen is an idiot, but now I feel like a bigger idiot for paying more than one dollar to see him. Hope he never gets back on CBS.

Ehh, boring and predictable. After Detroit it was clear the show wasn't going to be outstanding

  • HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

    by clover1323 on 4/5/11The Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 1 out of 5

Worst thing I've ever seen in my life. I've never seen someone talk for that long but say ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Why call it the violent torpedo of truth but then say you can't talk about anything because of all the legal stuff involved. He is train wreck. And that guy who "interviewed" him suuuuuuuucked too! I thought that at the very least this "show" might be funny...NOPE. For all of the future ticket holders, SELL YOUR TICKET NOW.

  • Disgrace to Our City

by ProudDetroiterNative on 4/5/11Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

I'll admit, the media frenzy and the trainwreck was fun to see! HOWEVER, Charlie showed little respect for our city, and that's the LAST thing we needed here. He can stay away or man up and apologize!

  • Charlie Sheen

    by cgraves63 on 4/5/11Fox Theatre Detroit - DetroitRating: 1 out of 5

This was, without question, the worst event I have ever attended. He can blame this on the crowd all he wants, but he was a complete unprepared bore. Nothing of substance at all.

  • Uh, Losing.

    by Froggi54 on 4/4/11Chicago Theatre - ChicagoRating: 1 out of 5

Charlie Sheen truly has fallen off of the deep end, and into a delusion of grandeur. The man's relentless personal attacks against people who have helped him in his career, show a that he is in a sad mental state. The show was nothing more then a glorified version of the videos you can find on youtube. A waste of money, a waste of time, and quite frankly it just was not funny enough, and did not have enough new information, to be worthy of recommendation. I was not expecting an enlightening experience, only wished to be entertained, Sheen failed miserably.

The first night of any tour can be hit or miss. Going to this show, you knew anything was possible, good or bad. We got bad. First of all, Detroit crowds are knowledgeable regarding value for their entertainment dollar. If you're charging $70 per ticket, you better look organized. Sheen did not. He became rattled as the crowd began to turn on him 20 minutes into a show filled with disjointed critiques about society. After a few video mash-ups of his recent media encounters, a Q & A session went sour and a rapper he sent out was worse. The lights went up around 10 and everyone was furious. This show needs an overhaul, pronto.
