It has been more than ten years since Celtic Woman first captured America's imagination with its self-titled first public television special. That historic concert performance launched a genuine cultural phenomenon, introducing millions of new fans to the group's fresh fusion of traditional Irish music, contemporary studio craft and state-of-the-art stage production.
Since then, Celtic Woman's evocative, uplifting music has touched the hearts of a devoted audience that spans the globe. In addition releasing CDs and DVDs that have become multi-platinum best-sellers, the group has continued to perform in front of capacity crowds on a series of sold-out concert tours.
Having been named Billboard magazine's World Albums Artist of the Year six times, Celtic Woman is a one-of-a-kind musical entity that showcases four gifted young Irish women: three world-class vocalists and a brilliant Celtic violinist, whose talent and charisma help to bring centuries of musical and cultural tradition to vibrant life in the group's recordings and concert performances.

Concert was excellent. I can't wait to see them again.
One of the best concerts I have had the pleasure of attending. I would definitely see them again.
It was difficult to understand the words of the songs they sang. Not sure if it was the acoustics or the loud music or a combination. Wish there had been more dancing. Was not as good as I had expected. Once is enough.
It was great. The sound system was a little hard to understand but a great time was had by all
I have attended about 18 Celtic Women shows since their first program about 20 years ago. It seems that the program has lost a little pa zzz over the years. Many Irish traditional folk type offerings but not many well chosen alternatives. Not sure if I’ll return next year…
This is a highly professional performance by very talented people. The stage design is perfect for this type of singing and dancing performance and the performers work the stage perfectly. The musicians also play flawlessly in the flow of the presentation.
The concert was amazing. Talented singers, dancers, and musicians. Perhaps my favorite concert of all time! The venue - Louisville Palace - was too warm. I heard the comment from several others. Perfect otherwise.
Celtic Woman gave a very visually pleasing and musically engaging performance. Each member had a unique and beautiful voice and they all moved gracefully about the stage. I could not always make out the words, which made it more difficult for me to enjoy, but overall the performance was excellent. I particularly liked Wild Mountain Thyme and Danny Boy. I definitely recommend Celtic Woman for anyone who loves music and Trad and Gaelic tunes especially.
My wife and I celebrated our 20th Anniversary by seeing the Celtic Woman’s 20th Anniversary Show. It was a great show. We enjoyed the whole thing!
This was our first ever Celtic Woman live concert. It’s was so great! We enjoyed it very much! Great show, great acoustics, great performance! Beautiful theatre and so thankful the parking garage was just across the street!
I loved this concert so much and only wish it lasted longer. I’d love to see it again and might travel to see it one more time.
The evening flew by as the music, dancing and storytelling captivated the audience. The musicians beautifully highlighted the 20 years of Celtic music on tour. Don’t miss it!
My husband and I have LOVED the Celtic Women for nearly 20 years - and ALWAYS enjoy a chance to see them in person. THis time we had seats in the 2nd row - and it was AWESOME!! The music/harmonies were beautiful - and the male singers/dancers did a great job! The bagpipe player was great!! We ended up buying both the DVD and CD - so we can watch over and over again at home - and listen over and over in the car!!
Overall, we would rate this particular Celtic Woman concert on 7 out of 10 rating. Our reasons include very poor audio; couldn't understand many of the wonderful songs these incredible women sang! Also, the constant/very annoying LED light bars that were used were both extremely annoying & far, far too intense that shown directly into our eyes! Pls consider a change in the future for the super high intensity of those light bars. The three (plus of course the incredible violinist) were a solid "10"! But it was extremely difficult to understand nor know what the lyrics they were singing! We have been too many (this was #4) of previous Celtic Women concerts & sorry to say, this was overall not one of their best! Great band support (especially that bagpiper) but noticed a definite downsize of previous concerts with fewer songs & less supporting actors. However, looking fwd to season #21 tour with hopefully some needed changes/adjustments especially those LED lights!
Great show, wonderful music, excellent voices really enjoyed the violin and pipes
It seemed as the performers were merely getting through another show. Their interactions with each other were choreographed and scripted. I think if the "producers"were to let the "Celtic Woman"women lead the show and sing with each other and with the musicians as they would celebrating their heritage, it would be much better. Felt very "put on". They ALL were very talented. Held back by the [production folks] idea what they think we want. We left a little after intermission.
Realizing Celtic Women perform in a different venue nightly, and even said early on that it was the beginning of their US tour, the balance of instruments and voices was terrible all night. Even had a hard time understanding the spoken words between songs. Come on Sound Board Professionals, do a better job of understanding changes between and empty and full auditorium. Not enough vocal volume period, but also several instrumental equalization improvements could’ve been made. Glad I knew of most of the repertoire from PBS otherwise would’ve been a wasted evening. Do better for these amazing musicians!
Would like to have been a little closer to the stage, but the music was still awesome.
