About

Carly Rae Jepsen in Concert

After multi-platinum Grammy, Juno and Polaris Prize nominated singer/songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen released her critically acclaimed album E·MO·TION in 2015, it became "a modern touchstone for a new crop of pop-leaning artists and legacy acts," as NPR noted. The album also inspired an abundance of memes — extending the cultural cachet that Jepsen earned from the ubiquity of her GRAMMY® -nominated blockbuster hit "Call Me Maybe" (from her U.S debut album Kiss), which not only climbed to No. 1 on the iTunes Singles charts in over 47 countries, sold over 20 million singles worldwide, and was certified Diamond in the U.S., but was referenced by everyone from former secretary-of-state Colin Powell to Cookie Monster.

Jepsen's most recent album, 2019's Dedicated, retains the joyful, hook-filled feeling of its predecessor. But where E*MO*TION was an '80s-influenced synth-pop classic that Rolling Stone called "a pop masterclass" and Stereogum called "indisputable, unfuckwithable pop genius," Dedicated has a more '70s-inspired feel at times, though the album defies categorization as a whole, with Vulture stating, "Dedicated is both stranger and freer than the last record, but it also feels more confident and considered." Working with a crew of trusted songwriters and producers, among them John Hill, Jack Antonoff, Captain Cuts, Patrik Berger, and her longtime collaborator Tavish Crowe, Jepsen indulged in more sonic experimentation than she had in the past. Dedicated features the fan favorites "Party For One," "Now That I Found You," "No Drug Like Me" and "Julien."

Jepsen landed the lead role in the 2014 Broadway production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella and later starred as the iconic Pink Lady, "Frenchy," in FOX's four-time EMMY award winning musical GREASE: LIVE. Jepsen voiced the character of Odette in the animated movie "LEAP!," which also featured Jepsen's song "Cut To The Feeling."

Carly Rae Jepsen on Tour

Following the release of Dedicated Jepsen embarked on a global tour playing to audiences at venues like the Arizona Federal Theatre in North America, as well as crowds in Japan, China, Australia, Canada and Europe. Jepsen will return to the U.S. later this year for performances at Coachella and Governor's Ball.

Absolutely love this venue, I honestly don’t think there’s a bad seat or place to stand! Was so excited to see that Carly Rae Jepsen was preforming here so I had to snag my ticket fast. And no surprise, Carly was amazing! She put on a great show and sang so many songs - I was delighted. I will remember it forever!

  • Amazing Crowd With a Great Opener

by Billy on 7/31/19Tabernacle presented by Cricket Wireless - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

I went to this show mainly because of her opener Phoebe Ryan and stayed for Carly Rae Jepsen because the show was so fun and entertaining. Phoebe Ryan is one of my favorite artists and she was amazing and I'm excited for her to come back! Carly Rae Jepsen came on and immediately she had a lot of energy and the crowd was into it. Even though I didn't really know her I still had fun.

  • Almost perfect

by Vu on 7/31/19Tabernacle presented by Cricket Wireless - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

Amazing concert! I think the sound could've been better; we could barely understand what she was saying at times. First time at the Tabernacle so not sure if this is a venue issue or an equipment issue. But Carly deserved better. Nonetheless, she gave it her all and so did we.

  • Fabulous

by J. J. on 7/31/19Tabernacle presented by Cricket Wireless - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

Carly put on one of the best shows I’ve seen in years. She was so much fun, she was interactive, and everyone at the venue had an amazing time. She played 85% her newest album, which may dishearten some day 1 fans since there wasn’t much love for Kiss (the album) at the tour. There were a few fan favorites from E Mo Tion. I would love to see her again.

Carly put on one of the (if not the best) shows that I’ve ever seen. She had so much stage presence and energy, it was an amazing time. 10/10, would definitely see her again

CRJ puts on a show. It was as immersive of an experience and I’ve ever had. Everyone was dancing and singing along to every song. The energy was electric.

by Ricky! on 7/30/19House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

High energy, strong voice and a great venue! Not a bad spot anywhere. Carly delivered, and could still be heard above literally everyone singing along! Plus her opener Phobe Ryan was fantastic!

  • So much fun

I’m a big CRJ fan and this was my first time seeing her. The venue was awesome and facilitated a good time by all. I was sore from jumping up and down and dancing for days. Carly’s set was a mixture of her last two albums and of course, she sang Call Me Maybe. She has the most fun on stage and she’s incredibly high energy. Her shows are great for all ages. I don’t think think she cursed a single time. Everyone that went to the show was incredibly friendly and the crowd was diverse. I would absolutely see her again.

She gave it everything and then some! The power even went out and she didn’t skip a beat.

  • Hugely Fun Dance Party

by Caseman on 7/30/19House of Blues Orlando - OrlandoRating: 5 out of 5

One of the happiest, most positive concert experiences I've ever had. Carly maintains a very friendly, innocent, and happy vibe while singing her heart out on stage. Her backing band is great and is in on the fun vibe as well. She's just wonderful live and everyone should let this kind of joy in.

  • Queen of Live Shows

by Justine on 7/27/19The Fillmore Charlotte presented by Cricket Wireless - CharlotteRating: 5 out of 5

The Dedicated Tour was my first major concert ticket purchase and it was SO worth every penny. Carly’s been one of my favorite artists since her groundbreaking Emotion album, so naturally my hype was through the roof when I snagged the tickets to see my favorite artist. She didn’t disappoint. Each and every song choice was on point and united the crowd— everyone knew every word. The energy in the room was electric, part in thanks to Carly’s bops, partly because of her stage presence, and especially thanks to the intimate atmosphere she created with her music and the choice of venue. The crowd was large but felt small, every lyric resonated with the screaming crowd. Hearing her hits especially— “Call Me Maybe”, “I Really Like You”, “Run Away With Me”— set the room on fire. You could tell how much she and the audience loved one another and that made the entire experience so incredibly special. Even the finale of the show (nu gay anthem “Cut To The Feeling”) felt like a party that would never end. I’m still so blown away and moreso a fan now than I was before. I’m never missing a tour of hers again.

  • A Fantastic Experience

The concert was a blast and it was even better when I met and got a picture with Carly for the first time. It was overall an amazing experience!

  • Carly Rae Rocks the Ritz!

    by K. S. on 7/26/19The Ritz - RaleighRating: 5 out of 5

Great venue, decent parking (at $8 I didn't expect to pay-but it was raining, so, oh well), loved the easy viewing and excellent sound, lots of bars and an easy access smoking area. The opener, Phoebe, was incredibly talented with a strong, but sweet voice-big future for her! Needless to say, Carly Rae knows her fans who truly are "devoted" to her. Her voice is amazing and fresh. She did not need slutty outfits or moves to put on her show. My daughter is crazy about Carly Rae and now I am, too. Yes, we'd travel back to Raleigh from Virginia Beach any time for such a fun show!

  • Magical Night!

by Ryan on 7/26/19House of Blues Boston presented by Cricket Wireless - BostonRating: 5 out of 5

This was such a great show! I had always wanted to see Carly live and she did not disappoint! She performed a wide range of her old hits and new music, and the entertainment of the crowd was electric. Will most defiantly go see her again!

  • Awesome

It was truly incredible. Had Carly not been super nice it might not have been fun. It was a super great, but VIP experience the sound check and the Q&A was super fast. Still worth the money and still amazing, but it did feel rushed a bit.
